253 Jenny's Day

Another weekday morning for Mr. and Mrs. Gray and this time, it was Yve's turn to cook. Not necessarily cook as she just reheat the left overs last night. She brewed coffee for Vince and hot chocolate drink for her.

After eating breakfast, they went to their separate ways. In the office, Yve has the meeting with the managers of SkyMu to finalize the schedule as well as the concept creator of SkyMu regarding the script that she wants for the project. The meetings went smoothly and she was quite excited yet nervous for the project at the same time. Then lunch time came and Yve decided to give her husband a call.

"How was your morning?"

"It was busy but fine. How about yours?" Vince asked.

"It was great. All my meetings are doing well. I'm about to eat lunch at the cafeteria before going to school. What's your plan for lunch?"

Yve is primarily concerned about Vince's lunch. Her husband has also the tendency to neglect eating when focused with work.

"I will have a lunch meeting. So rest assured Mrs. Gray I will eat my lunch."

The couple ended their phone call and went to their respective lunch schedules.

On the other hand, Jenny just finished lunch.

"I'll go ahead, now. Please tell my brother I'll be late in going home tonight." Jenny informed the butler as she went out of the house and opened the car door.

Unlike Yve, Jenny drives her car to school and isn't followed by any bodyguard or secretary. She arrives at the school after passing by a bookstore to buy some highlighters she needed for school.

As their professor for their first class arrives, Jenny opens her book and notebook on her desk. She makes sure to write the necessary details and information given out. Then before the class concludes, the professor informs them of a short quiz and gives them time to review for ten minutes.

With that, Jenny checks through the pages the professor discussed a few minutes earlier.  She takes a sneak peek at Yve and sees her reading through her notes, too. Jenny sneakily pulls out the notes Steve gave her last night.

The time is finally over and the professor starts the exam. After a while, the professors returned the paper but Jenny didn't like the result. She got 3 mistakes. She only hoped that Yve's score isn't higher than hers. However, her hopes were crushed when she heard some of her classmates congratulating her.

"You got another perfect score, Yve. You are really amazing!"

"How did you do it?"

"Can you explain this question?"

"Yup! I also gave a wrong answer in that question."

She heard her classmates crowding around Yve once more as the professor left their room.

"Okay. I'll explain it shortly before our next professor arrives." Yve said and starts to explain the theories and the reasons why their answers were wrong. Jenny also listened to Yve's explanation and can't help but be jealous of her once more.

Just as the Yve finished explaining, their next professor came and handed over their lecture notes.

"Okay, class. I have to attend a meeting right now and thus I will not be able to have a lesson with you. So I would like you to study the hand-outs. I will be on leave and be back on Friday. So as a short-term project, please flip your notes to the last page. There are 5 case studies there and I would like you to group yourselves accordingly. As a group, you will focus on one case and make necessary evaluations. Guidelines are also indicated there. Tonight, I would like to ask each group to send details to my e-mail. The details include your team leader, team members and the case you chose."

The professor just gave the instructions and left.

With that short announcement, only 10 minutes were consumed and as expected most of her classmates clouded around Yve. Then luckily, a group of four girls she didn't notice before approached her.

"Hello, Jenny! We would like to be your team members if you don't mind?"

"Team Members?  You don't want to be a team leader?" Jenny was quite shocked to hear them.

"Well, being a team leader is difficult."

"Besides, I don't think I have the intellect to be one."

"So will it be fine with you."

"Of course. Have a seat here and let's go over the notes our professor gave us."

Jenny is quite proficient with her team and was able to plan out for their chosen case within one hour. She just needs to send an email to their professor and ask a favor from Steve. For the cases, they need to observe a company for two days in order to make the report and conduct the case study.

The third and fourth classes were uneventful and before they knew it the day is over. Jenny went to the mall to have her monthly beauty appointments. Steve would always remind her to be wary of her appearance so she has her scheduled routine for skin and dental care.

While she is waiting for her turn, she browsed through her social media account and saw the announcement for an Anime Festival. She likes anime and would love to attend the different gatherings prior to their return to the country. Since there was no final date and venue yet, she just bookmarked the page to make sure she will be informed of the latest updates.

After her skin care schedule, she went another clinic for her dental care. While waiting, she decided to send an email to their professor using her smartphone.

"Better be early." She reminded herself and pressed the send icon.

Once she finished everything she found herself driving home. As expected she finished a bit late but was just in time to see her brother coming out of his car too.

"You just arrived?"

"Yup, I had my monthly appointments today."

"Hmm. Okay, let's get inside." Steve lead the way inside their house and before separating to their rooms, Jenny decided to ask permission from her brother.

Jenny explained the details to Steve and knowing that it was for school purposes, Steve easily agreed.

"Of course! Inform your teammates and come with me to the office tomorrow morning. Just meet them in the office's lobby" Steve said.

With that, Jenny ran to her brother and hugged her.

"Thanks for readily agreeing, brother."

"As long as it's for school. Besides, it would be good for you to know about our company. If you have any questions, I can also easily answer or any of the staffs." Steve kissed his sister's crown.

After that short encounter, they changed their clothes and ate dinner together before heading back to their room. Jenny opened her notes again and studied in advance while Steve reviewed the files and company reports.

"Surely, you will choose either the Gray Group or Stones Enterprise. Now let see which case you chose to handle." Jenny murmured to herself as she opened the bulletin their professor's posted regarding on the different teams and cases they chose.

However, much to Jenny's confusion, Yve's team didn't choose either of the empires.

"What's this? SkyMu Entertainment?! What is she thinking now?"

Understanding Yve's thought is still like a high level puzzle for her.
