Chapter 105 - The Gang Is Back Together

I looked down at Dante who was staring at me with wide eyes. I couldn't help but want to squeal in delight!

I finally beat him! After all those awful years of planning and practicing, I've finally beat him.

"Hehe!" I started doing my gloating dance around him, "I beat you~ I beat you~ Guess who beat you? I did!"

Dante was still flabbergasted by the whole situation and didn't move an inch.

"Fufu! Are you gunna cry? Please cry. Dooooo it! Come on already! Just cry for me!"

I was really looking forward to him crying when he found out he had lost to me. Shouldn't he be so humiliated that he has tears in his eyes? Why does he just have that dumb look on his face?

In the stadium, my mother held her head in her hands and leaned over in embarrassment. She was mortified her daughter looked like a boy and wore pants. But that wasn't the worst part.

She was more embarrassed that her daughter was openly gloating while she danced around Dante flipping him off. Really... Just where did her daughter learn to act like that?!

Oliver was still too young to understand, so he just stared at his mother with wide doe eyes waiting for her to explain if he should cheer or also hide in shame.

The King's eye twitched, "Kane... Is that your... Daughter?"

My father, who had been watching the entire time shaking with excitement, finally jumped up and screamed, "D*mn right it is! Atta girl! Daddy's so proud! My daughter is better than those nasty boys!!!"

His booming voice echoed in the silent stadium. My mother blushed more at her husband's stupidity and loud voice. Oliver looked between his parents trying to decide which to copy. Finally, he decided on his father.

He clapped loudly, "Go sister!!!"

Queen Luna gave a sad frown and shouted, "No Seri! You're not supposed to beat Prince William! You're supposed to marry him!"

My father rushed down the stadium and over towards me with an overbearing expression of happiness. I stopped my dance and ran over to him. We both jumped midair and high fived each other.

I landed and looked at him with an exuberant grin. "Did you see that Daddy?! I kicked his a**!"

He nodded proudly, "I did! Ahh! My little girl kicked his a** so hard he won't be able to get up for a while!"

He picked me up and twirled me as I laughed merrily. No one knew what to say as they all watched with slack jawed expressions.

Simon looked to the King, "My King?"

He sighed, "It's fine. Go on."

Simon gave a smile and walked over to join us. I noticed him and gave an arrogant smile, "Well? What'd I say? Didn't I say I could do it?"

I fidgeted out of excitement demanding him to praise me. He gave a light laugh and pet my hair.

"You did. You also said you could only win if you hid your identity so he would underestimate you, giving you the upper hand."

I frowned and blushed, "You didn't have to repeat that last part."

He ignored my embarrassment, "But you've really improved. I'm proud."

I giggled and flicked my hair with an arrogant flair. Yes. Yes. Compliment me more.

Dante finally got control of himself and stood up. He walked over to me while looking me up and down. He really had no idea the figure in black had been a girl. Not to mention Seri.

I forced a smile even though my face twitched in anger from his stare. Now, you're probably wondering how I managed to trick people to think I was a boy.

Even though when I came up with this idea, I didn't plan to be mistaken for a boy.

Well anyways, I managed to trick people because Seri's "adult" body lacks certain... Characteristics...

What I mean to say is... I'm not bodacious in the slightest.

Basically I'm flatter than a chessboard. *sob*

Pro to Seri's body: I can eat anything I want and not get fat. My metabolism is ridiculously good.

Con to this body: I barely even resemble a female.

Ahhh! If not for my hair and feminine face people wouldn't even know! Ugggh. I want to cry and smack my head into a wall.

How can I seriously look like this? I'm barely a B cup on my good days!!!

Okay, so the author described Seri as a mouse, but they never mentioned she was a mouse in terms of no boobs.

How can fate be so cruel?!

William and Millie also rushed over when they got over the shock of the reveal.

William looked at me trying to hide his delighted grin, but failing miserably. "Seri! So you were here! Wait... You're the one who beat me?!"

"Ufufu~ William. I see you've gotten lazier since I've last seen you. Now who is the chubby one?"

William's face turned bright red in anger.

Of course I was lying. He wasn't chubby at all! How could he grow up so much in three years?! It was so painful I wanted to crawl away sobbing!

He is so handsome now... His smooth fair skin was so pleasing to the eye. While his silky blonde hair was so enticing I really wanted to braid it...

Ah! No! Snap out of it! This is William! I can't be enticed by him.

Millie jumped into my arms and rubbed her face on me, "Serrri~ I've missed you so much... How could you be so cruel and leave me like that?"

I melted in her arms.

F*ck. Why is she still so adorable?! Why don't I have a defense against her charm?!

I rubbed her head lovingly, "I'm sorry my sweet angel! I didn't want to, but I didn't have a choice!"

She looked at me with a pout, "But why?"

"Well..." I looked away guiltily, "I just had some circumstances..."

Her grip tightened on me, "Like what?"

"Ah." I was shocked by her surprisingly strong grip and chilling smile.

She let go and smiled at me warmly, "No matter. All that matters is that you are here with me now and will never leave me alone again."

I nodded with enthusiasm, "That's right! I won't leave you ever again!"

She gave a coy smile, "Promise?"

I slammed my hand to my chest, "Cross my heart and hope to die! I couldn't live another second without my Millie! It's a bleak world without you in it."

She gave a fluffy giggle, "Good!"

Dante finally looked at me and our eyes met. He gave a small genuine smile. His deep voice resounded in my ears making them blush.

"Welcome back."

I felt as if I was hit by a truck.

F*ck F*ck F*ck F*ck F*ck F*ck.

Why is he so attractive?! While William looks more flashy, Dante looks more mature. And his tan skin.. Oh f*ck. It's my weakness.

Not to mention he looks like an adonis! Super muscular and a shirt so tight it's not even attempting to hide it. I'm almost going blind by his handsomeness.

Seriously author. Not fair. Couldn't you have made them more normal looking and used the leftovers to make me drop dead gorgeous?

Oliver noticed the excitement and looked to his mother, "Mama? Can we go? I want to see sister!"

She sighed in embarrassment, "Alright let's go."

"Sisster!"

I turned to see Oliver running towards me clumsily. My face softened. Ahh~ So cute.

I called after him, "Be careful Oliver~ You might trip-"

As soon as the words left my mouth, his foot caught on his other one and he face planted on the ground. He propped himself up and started sobbing.

"Siiister!!"

I rushed over and picked him up. I rocked him in my arms as he sniffled. I gave him a warm smile, "There... Do you feel better?"

"Mhm..."

His trembling lip made my heart quiver.

Millie smiled at him, "Awww. Is this your little brother?"

Oliver looked at the three strangers. I gave him an eager smile, "Oliver... Remember what we practiced?"

He nodded full of confidence. He pointed to William, "Tsundere!"

William's face fell, "What?!"

Dante let out rambunctious laughter. William glared at him and he coughed forcing himself to stop laughing.

Oliver then turned to Dante and pointed, "Sadistic f*ck!"

Dante's face froze. "What." His cold voice sent shivers down both me and Oliver's spine.

"Seri!" My mother shouted with a red face, "What did you teach him?!"

Oliver then looked at Millie. She looked nervous and excited at the same time. He looked like a poet as he held his chest with one hand, extended his other in the air, and closed his eyes.

"Millie, dear Millie~ The face of an angel descended to the Earth. Here to save us from our pain and suffering with her purifying presence. Truly we are not worthy to receive such an angel."

Millie blushed, "Oh my."

"Hey! Why does she get a poem but we get insulted?!" William shouted feeling wronged.

Oliver ignored him and looked at me, "Sissy! Did I do good?"

I nodded full of pride, "You did! You did very well. Sister's sooo proud!"

My mother glared as she took Oliver from me, "Well mother isn't. Oliver. You mustn't swear. That's naughty."

He tilted his head, "What's a swear?"

She blushed, "What? Well it's a naughty word."

"Like what?" He asked innocently, "Do you have an example?"

She blushed and whispered, "Like... F*ck..."

"Mother just swore. You told me not to swear yet you just did. Mother is a hyp-pocrite." His baby voice chastised her as he frowned in disapproval.

Her face paled, "Whaa..."

Oliver looked at me happily and I gave him a thumbs up.

Ahh~ He learns so well.

My father smiled at me, "Well we will leave you to get caught up with your friends."

I waved to them as they walked away. I turned to the three looking at me completely flabbergasted.

"Fufu~ Isn't my little brother the best? He's so adorable!"

"Bad influence." William stated bluntly.

"Huh?"

He looked at me with a stern look, "You're a bad influence."

I clicked my tongue and flipped my hair, "Nonsense. I'm an amazing influence."

Millie giggled, "I'm a bit surprised. I totally thought he would act just like you did when we were kids. Back then you acted so much like an adult. But he's actually quite normal."

I laughed coldly and scratched my cheek awkwardly. Well that's because I was technically an adult.

William clicked his tongue, "She's still a bad influence. You shouldn't teach him to swear. You may be vulgar, but that doesn't mean he should be."

I rolled my eyes, "Yes grandmother."

He blushed and stepped closer to me, "What?! I'm not your grandmother!!!"

Millie pushed away his face away and got closer to me. "By the way! You were so cool in the competition today!!!"

William slapped away her hand and also got in my face, "Cool? No! Why were you acting like a show off?! Couldn't you have joined like a normal person?!"

I looked at the both of them who clung to me with curious faces. I frowned and tried to take a step back. Is this what I get for ignoring them for so long?

Dante raised an eyebrow, "Why did you participate?"

"What do you mean why? Of course it was because I wanted to beat you and embarrass you in front of your peers."

Well... That's not necessarily a lie... But it's not the full truth either.

To be honest, I mostly did it because today was the opening scene in the original novel. Mary would be watching from the stands.

She notices William's strength and starts to admire him because of the competition. After he won, she approached him to congratulate him. He didn't care and ignored her.

She didn't dwell on it. She looked completely unfazed by his cold demeanor and walked away completely unimpressed. He was so shocked that she didn't stay to fawn over him like everyone else.

That's when William started becoming curious about her.

So of course naturally, I had to ensure he would lose so that the event couldn't occur.

B-but it's not like I did that out of jealousy or anything!!!

I'm not jealous at all!

Not at all!

I was doing it for the sake of Millie! After all, she's had a crush on William since childhood. Even though she doesn't have much of a chance, it's my duty as her friend to help her in romance.

So yup. Not jealousy.

"Excuse me."

My mind instantly froze.

I turned to that soft meek voice. Pink hair fluttered in the wind and the thin girl gave a faint smile while she looked down blushing. Her purple eyes danced with excitement.

F-F*CK!

WHY DID SHE STILL COME OVER HERE?

Wait. Why's she walking towards me?!

She fiddled her hands, "I just wanted to congratulate you."

I took a step back out of fear, and she scooted closer to me. I took more steps backwards in a panic, but she only got closer.

Why the hell is she coming towards me?! Why not William?!

"You were so awesome in the competition. It was really admiring to see such skill."

She gave a big smile, "And also... You're that masked hero, right?"

My brain short circuited.

I screamed, "PINK HAIR!"

I turned and sprinted away. She blinked, "W-Wait!"

She ran after me. William, Dante, and Millie who were confused about the interaction they just witnessed, each looked at each other.

They too rushed after me burning with curiosity.
