Chapter 265 - The Scum Is Direct

"Will my grandson be alright?" Zheng Fu Gong said after they transferred Zheng Yi to Xinfaxian Sect. 

"En." Cheng Sheng nodded. "Spirit infiltration and array restricts each other. Since the former is to invade, while the other is to defend. Of course, the strength of both opposing people should be considered." He explained and looked at Pai Lie. 

Pai Lie nodded in satisfaction. That's the reason why he can't be controlled by Qi Ling. He also can't be controlled by Qi Ling. As for Li Tian, it was his aptitude he can learn array drawing. 

Zheng Fu Gong sighed in relief while Jing Bai held Zheng Yi's hand. After a few minutes, they really did see Zheng Yi's complexion turned better after being under a stronger array. Since Xinfaxian is Cheng Sheng's home, naturally, his array covering the Xinfaxian is stronger than the array in Yunxiao Inn. Thus, it was only then that Qi Ling could activate his control of Lei Ling.

Zheng Fu Gong finally sighed in relief. Female disciples are more attentive than male disciples, thus he really can be reassured Zheng Yi will be looked after in Xinfaxian Sect. They then went back after bidding goodbye to Fan Wen, Pai Lie and Su Yuan. 

"Wu Bai!" Feng Mo, who came with them this time, waved at Wu Bai and then left. 

Wu Bai nodded before he turned to Feng Mo's parents who waved their child's hand to Feng Mo. Feng Mo giggled before disappeared with Cheng Sheng, Zheng Fu Gong and Jing Bai.

"Go! Go!" Chen Han said as he and Sun Yi killed the demonic cultivators that tried to pull back the people they saved. 

A pair of mother and son cried before they rose from stumbling on the ground and ran with the others. The Zunjingde Sect disciples immediately moved to a protective circle with the people they saved as they advanced towards the direction of Yunxiao Inn. 

"We're almost there!" they said. 

"Sun-shidi, watch out! There's a poison!" Chen Han yelled when he saw Sun Yi was about to be stabbed on the leg by a demonic cultivator who was lying on the ground and is actually still alive. 

Sun Yi's pupils shrank. They already heard from Jing Rui that the demonic cultivators are coating their sword with demonic poison to corrupt the righteous cultivators' body and turn them into demonic cultivators. If they resist, then only death awaits them. 

No! Is this how will I end? Without even seeing Wu Yuan? Sun Yi thought as his eyes reddened and he closed his eyes. 

"SUN-SHIDI!" Chen Han screamed and stabbed the demonic cultivator before running towards Sun Yi. 

However, the pain didn't come and Sun Yi opened his eyes, only to see a familiar face he had longed for a long time. "Yuan!" he cried in glee when he saw Wu Yuan killed the demonic cultivator that tried to harm Sun Yi. 

"Wu-shidi?!" Chen Han was shocked. 

"Yiyi…" Wu Yuan called, his voice hoarse before he pulled Sun Yi into his arms and kissed him deeply. Sun Yi's eyes widened before he enthusiastically kissed back. 

"WAIT! There are still enemies! AAAAH!!!" Chen Han screamed and immediately dodged. 

Of course, the two separated lovers who are now reunited knows the proper time and place to kiss and so they immediately killed the demonic cultivators around and returned to Yunxiao Inn.

The moment they returned to the Yunxiao Inn, at the same time, Cheng Sheng and the others returned from Xinfaxian Sect. 

"Wu-shixiong!" Feng Mo exclaimed when he saw Wu Yuan.

Suddenly, Wu Yuan fell silent. "Yuan?" Sun Yi called when he saw the change in Wu Yuan's expression. Everyone waited with bated breath. "Shifu… what happened to him?" he asked. 

It suddenly dawned on everyone. Why did they feel something was lacking… it's Luo Shi! Luo Shi was also missing! Did Ming Ye also capture him? However, they were best friends, right? 

"Shifu… is dead." Wu Yuan finally answered with difficulty. 

Everyone sucked in a cold breath. Ming Ye killed Luo Shi?! How about their friendship?! 

Sun Yi's eyes widened in shock before his tears fell. Chen Han's face is as dark as the bottom of the pot. He can't believe his gentle and kind shifu killed Luo Shi! 

"Is it related to elder Luo?" Cheng Sheng spoke, his voice is calm. Zheng Fu Gong, Jing Rui and the others are silently listening and can't help but be shocked by what he said next. "Does he want me to resurrect elder Luo?" he asked.

Everything became silent and only Cheng Sheng's fading footsteps can be heard. Fei Yin immediately followed him, then Yu Sheng, Li Tian, Feng Mo and Zuo Zhe. Chen Han, Sun Yi and Wu Yuan were left with Zheng Fu Gong, Jing Rui and the others. 

Zheng Fu Gong sighed. "Everyone, we're all tired. You go rest after having a warm meal." He told them before he and Jing Rui approached Wu Yuan. "Sect leader Wu… let's talk privately." He told him. 

Wu Yuan nodded and he, along with Chen Han and Sun Yi, left with Zheng Fu Gong and Jing Rui. 

"Sheng." Fei Yin called when he saw Cheng Sheng was on the terrace. "You…" he sighed. "Chen Han – " 

"I know." Cheng Sheng said. "Chen Jing is important, as well as Wu Fan." He said. 

"But, you're important, too!" Fei Yin said. "To me. To Yu Sheng. To the Xinfaxian Sect! To everyone in Xinfaxian!" he told him. "You are indispensable. You are our beacon of hope!" 

Cheng Sheng smiled. "I know." He quietly said. "Come out." He spoke. 

Yu Sheng, Zuo Zhe, Li Tian and Feng Mo came out of their hiding. "Cheng-shidi…" Li Tian and Feng Mo called before they hugged Cheng Sheng. 

Yu Sheng also wanted to hug his younger brother, but he acted considerate again. He looked at Fei Yin and Fei Yin shook his head. He is also acting considerate. 

"I've heard it from Jing Cheng." Xie Lan, who just returned from Xinfaxian, said and walked towards them. He went earlier to check on Lei Ling and Zheng Yi.
