Chapter 39 - Morgan Luo

"Who?" It didn't matter much to Si Junyan as Zeng Group was nothing infront of CL. He just wanted to acquire it for side profits but didn't expect to lose out.

Instead, he was now more interested in knowing the other party rather than fuming over the Zeng Group.

"It was SJ first but then the tracker moved to various locations stopped in Africa at the end." Tai Yi helplessly reported. 

"Your skills are still unpolished. You aren't even worthy of the half of the allowance." Si Junyan chided. 

"Brother, it's not my skill that is unpolished but the other party who is better than me." Tai Yi defended himself.

"Whatever." 

Suddenly a message notification popped up.

"Master Si, how unfortunate of you to loose. With Regards -A"

Both of them looked at the screen curiously. 

"Brother, who is A??" Tai Yi curiously glanced at Si Junyan who had his straight face on.

"Isn't that your responsibility to find out?" As he narrowed his eyes, his forehead wrinkled scaring Tai Yi.

"Ah... Haha.. Yeah. I was just about to go find it. Haha." Tai Yi smiled wryly.

Thirty minutes passed and the room was still silent.

"Brother, the barriers of the IP is too strong for me to breakthrough." After spending a long time in coding & decoding accompanied by frown, Tai Yi finally gave up.

Si Junyan fell into a deep thought as he wondered who the 'A' might be.

Trying to ease the situation, Tai Yi turned of the computer and turned to face Si Junyan.

"Brother, should we go to Blue Paradise to drain our sorrows?? It's been a long time since I went out." Tai Yi lamented with his arms crossed. After coming back to Country A with Si Junyan, his life has gotten so busier that he wished he never came back. No! He wished he never had befriended Si Junyan back in California. Once upon a time, his days used to start in different hotel rooms every other day and ends in bars and pubs. Now, he has become such a workaholic that he doubted if he even remembered the taste of alcohol.

"Busy." He replied indifferently before standing up and fixing his suit.

He took a look at the Patek Phillippe on his wrist before walking out of the room suavely.

"Boss has a lunch date." Assistant Hu whispered Tai Yu before following his boss out.

'I remember the actress is bedridden at present. Did he get a new one?' He gaped as he couldn't digest the news of his brother betraying his lover finally for a new one.

[Hidden_Dragon: News flash!! Brother went for a date just now!!]

[Awaken_Dragon: Don't bullsh*t here.]

[Hidden_Dragon : Assistant Hu confirmed it.]

[Mortal_Dragon : You sure?]

[Hidden_Dragon: 100%!! He even fixed his suit before heading out.]

[Immortal_Dragon : Why don't we just go check it out? We will know it after we see it.]

"Gosh! Boss. Just as expected from you." Dai Yu rejoiced. 

Yan Shu nodded nonchalantly. She didn't care much as long as she gets profit. The reason she decided to check out SJ was she wanted to make profit from the company and shift the money she earned herself in her bank account as she was doing Su Mo Jiaran a favor by letting her body live normally whereas Su Mo Jiaran wasn't letting Yan Shu's body to even walk. (According to Yan Shu)

"Thank you so much, Mr.--" Dai Yu then thanked Morgan but stopped midway as he didn't know his name. He lifted his eyes insinuating him to tell his name.

"Morgan. Morgan Luo." Morgan stretched his hands to shake hands with Dai Yu.

"Ah..haha.. So it's Morgan Luo. Sounds good. Haha. So, what do you do usually?" Dai Yu held Morgan's hand with his two hands and shaked vigorously while smiling with his teeth out.

Feeling uncomfortable, Morgan took back his hand after much difficulty and smiled back dryly.

"Morgan Luo! I've heard of this name before. Are you a celebrity?" Dai Yu observed Morgan closely trying to recount if he'd seen him before or not.

Under Dai Yu's intense gaze, Morgan helplessly took out his business card and passed it to him after getting Yan Shu's approval. 

Dai Yu hurriedly took the card and read it carefully. As he read the word under Morgan's name, his eyes widened. He gulped and felt like something stuck in his throat as he was almost unable to say something.

"You...ar..e the Chief Direcccc....tor of Ma...Magus... Te...Tech!!!"

"You are M_Mor...Morgan!!!" Dai Yu finally was able to utter something. He couldn't believe that Morgan Luo was infront of him. He even shook hands with him. He brought his palms closer to his face and stared at it with eyes filled with happiness. 

"Yeah. I guess that's what written in it." Morgan was already used to it now. But still, he didn't expect it from Dai Yu since Dai Yu was also quite doing great compared to others of his age. 

"I have a lunch appointment. Let's leave now." Yan Shu knew this situation wasn't going to calm down soon if she didn't interrupt. Hence, she got ready to leave.

"With who?" Morgan glanced at Yan Shu. He thought Yan Shu agreed on spending the day with him but what's with this lunch meeting now!!

"The dog, we snatched the food from just now." She smiled mysteriously.

"Why not you join me in lunch then?" Dai Yu suggested. He finally calmed down but there's still a tinge of excitement inside him, suppressable enough.

"Umm.." Morgan hesitated. Then he looked back at Yan Shu asking if he should go.

"Should I?" 

"If you don't mind having a barking dog around then go on." She then left the room.

"Ofcourse. Boss wouldn't mind. Mr. Morgan, it's just a lunch. Moreover, I am straight so there's nothing to worry." He reassured Morgan. He thought that the reason Morgan was hesitating, was cause he was worried that his boss will feel jealous if Morgan goes out with him.

Feeling puzzled, Morgan frowned. He was confused of why Dai Yu was telling his sexual preference to him. Anyways, it didn't matter who he eats lunch with instead eating lunch was the thing that mattered to him.

"Follow me." Morgan then left the room too since Yan Shu was waiting for him to give her a ride. 

Dai Yu didn't even bother to take his coat before blindly following Morgan.

The trio set out in Morgan's maserati which didn't stop until they reached the "Immersion" parking ground.
