Chapter 2 - Su Mo Jiaran

'Fiance? When did I get a fiance? I was so busy acting that I didn't even have time for myself. Where the hell did I get time to love someone?' Her eyes widened as she gasped hearing him.

Just as she was about to dwell on what was happening,the door opened again and an old man entered.

"Xiao Yan, you are here. "

"Grandpa, I just arrived. Came to check on Jiaran after getting the news." The former spoke. The closeness between them can be predicted based on how the former talked so respectfully and affectionately to the latter.

"Luck was on our side this time." The old man sighed.

'Jiaran? Who is this Jiaran?? Why are they calling me Jiaran?' While the two man talked with each other Yan Shu stared at them feeling confused. She tried to think hard of what happened after the accident but instead suffered from a slight pain in her head. Bunch of unknown scenes flooded in her memory, all of which were unrecognizable to her. Neither did she knew anyone from the scenes nor did she remember having anything to do with those. Her real memories were struggling to survive within the unknown surging memories.

Suddenly one thing struck in her mind. 'Transmigration.'

'So am I in a novel or the real world?'

'The webnovels I read about soul transmigrating were actually true?'

Bewilderment dawned upon her as shhe could not wait to for a confirmation.

She gulped before finally being able to move her mouth. She stuttered,

"I want a mirror."

The two men were taken aback by her sudden words.

Nevertheless, the old man picked up the hand mirror placed on the nearby bedside table and passed it to her.

"Mo Ran, I assure you there will be no scars in your forehead." The old man thought that the girl was worried about having a scar on her forehead from the stitch.

Yan Shu could not care less and was instead eager to confirm the reality. After taking the mirror, she froze for a second. She gaped deeply at the reflection of herself in the mirror. It was a reflection of a girl who seemed to be probably 16 or 17 years old.

Yan Shu stared at the obsidian dark eyes that were as deep as an ocean of the reflection.She then touched her face while observing the image portrayed by the mirror in her hand. She had never seen this person yet she was awestricken with the beauty of this girl despite seeing so many beautiful women in the entertainment industry in her previous life.

She was dumbfounded when she finally realized that she was no longer Yan Shu-the actress but Su Mo Jiaran - the only girl of the Su Family. The man standing in front of her was her fiance, Si Junyan with whom her marriage was already fixed when she was a child.

The old man was her grandfather who was known as Old Master Su, the business prodigy of the country. The recognition of Su Corporation were all credited to him. At present it was handled by his eldest son, Su Haolin who took it to a peak where none will be able to break them for at least a decade.

Su Mo Jiaran was actually the daughter of Old Master Su's youngest son, Su Haoran who died in a assasination along with his wife when Jiaran was only 5 years old. Being the only granddaughter of Old Master Su, he did not want to lose her , the only kin of his youngest son which made him to keep Su Mo Jiaran under immense protection and strict restrictions 24/7. She was never allowed to go out alone. Dozens of bodyguards were always with her whereever she went and was homeschooled. The reason Su Mansion had everything was partly because of her. All those restrictions, the limitations to explore converted her into a quiet, cold and a straight-A student. She had no friends but books from all over the world as her accompany. Where the members of the Su family thought they were doing everything for her safety, for her goodness they eventually forgot that she was only a child who was in need of love and not luxury and restrictions.

"Mo Ran , how are you feeling? Do you still feel pain in your head?" The old man peered her with uncertainty.

Just as Yan Shu was about to explain the door opened again and two men entered. One of them was wearing a white apron seemingly the doctor who might have rushed from the hospital in this rush hours and the other was an old man probably the same age as Old Master Su.

The doctor walked up to her and observed her.

After he checked her he asked for a confirmation " do you feel pain anywhere?"

" Actually no. It's just my head feels abit heavy." Yan Shu remembered being badly injured in the car crash but when she woke up she did not feel any pain but dizziness, which disappeared after the appearance of Su Mo Jiaran's memories.

" Old Master Su, Miss is okay now. The anesthesia has worn off. There's nothing much to worry about. Just keep her diet light. She will be completely fine after seven days of observation." The doctor assured old Master Su.

Old master Su just made a hmmm sound before he ordered another old man to bring the prepared porridge for the missy. The latter rushed out as soon as he got the order.

"I will take my leave now then , grandpa." Si Junyan thought there's nothing more to do here now that he have seen her.

" Yes, yes. You are a busy lad. I won't keep you anymore." Old Master Su knew how important it was for businessmen of leading companies to spare time during working hours. So he did not want to trouble him by keeping him here.

" I will come by later. Take care." Si Junyan took his leave after he glanced at the laying girl for one last time.

Si Junyan was the Current President of CL Corporation. After his father's death, he had no choice but to take over the company when he was only a fresh graduate at the age of 20. The CL Corporation was actually an International brand but after his takeover he has been trying to expand the main business in Country A. When his grandfather went to study in abroad , he fell in love with his grandmother who was a native but a citizen of abroad. Hence, his grandfather decided to shift the business in abroad and decided to spend his rest of the life there. It was only when his father took over did they started to have main businesses in Country A.

Si Junyan's parents used to live in Country A but after his father passed away ,his mother shifted in abroad with his grandparents.

Si Junyan was born here but went to California to continue his furthur studies to his grandparents place.

Even after acquiring the company ,he did not return to the country until two years ago. One of the reason among many of his return was the marriage contract of him and Su Mo Jiaran.

Yan Shu looked at the man who was leaving the room. Now that she has accepted the situation, her brain was working quite normally. She had heard of this man many times. He was a luxury of every young girls and women of the country. His return two years back ,shook off all the industries including the entertainment industry. His younger brother ,Si Junmo debuted at the same time. His brother's identity was actually concealed before debut. As Si Junmo was a trainee under the Shengting Entertainment, a subsidiary of Su Industries, it was no wonder he trained for only one year before debuting with his identity concealed.

Back when Si Junyan returned , insider news broke out that he was going to invest in Director Huang's movie, one of his father's closest friend which turned the whole industry upside down. Even for a small supporting role , the A-list actors and actresses competed with D-list, S-list actors. Nonetheless to say one of the reasons was , it was the legendary Director Huang's movie and another was CL corporation's investment. Even one glance of the President of CL was worth for. But finally it was her who secured the female lead role.

She remembered having tireless nights for this movie. She had to improve her fighting skills and also loose some weights.

It was a male oriented movie. The lead female role did not have much scenes but the scenes she had were intense action while giving support to the male lead.Though, the lead female dies just before the climax which left thousands of audiences crying in awe. This movie was the key reason for her to be able to get the actress of the decade award within just eight years of movie career.

Never in her wildest dreams did she expect to meet this man in her life nor having him as her lover. Now she could not help but to sigh.

'Huh,fate!'

The butler came in along with a maid who was carrying the porridge for her. After, it was served to her.

' So, this is the life of a young missy. Quite comparable to a princess..' Yan Shu was flabbergasted but ecstatic to enjoy such treatments.
