Chapter 177 - TIME TO BE ALONE

[KYLE POV]

Things were busy when we first got home. EZ wanted his time with Jacy and that was what he got. And not to mention, that his parents, Laurell and Bechard, also wanted to come and find out how she was doing.

The two of them had been frantic when they heard that Jacy had been taken. They think of her as one of their own children, so I could just imagine what they were feeling during those hours.

After our friends and pseudo family members left, it was just Jacy, Maya, and me. This was what I was wanting. This was the way it needed to be for right now. Just me, my wife, and my daughter. We needed some time to be alone together, just the three of us.

Maya, being just shy of a month old, wasn't the best company for entertainment unless you counted just looking at her sleeping face.. That was something that I could do for hours. I was sitting there, holding Jacy in my arms while she held our baby. What more did I need right then and there?

Eventually though, time moved on and we needed to go to sleep. It was once again very late, and Maya was sleeping in her bassinet in our room. Jacy and I went to bed together and snuggled like we had been the night before.

Sleep came easy to her this time, and she seemed to be free of the nightmare that had been plaguing her. When Maya woke for a nighttime feeding, Jacy was quicker than me on getting her fed. And she actually went back to sleep afterwards. That was something that she hadn't really been doing for a while. Finally, we were moving past the fear and anxiety.

I didn't want to leave the house at all. I wanted to see them, make sure they were safe and that nothing was going to happen to them. I guess even I was still feeling slightly traumatized by the scene that I had walked in on when Jacy was taken from me. I never wanted to see that or even think about it ever again.

I started working from home more. It wasn't uncommon for me to not go into the office more than once a week and that was only for an hour or two. I was basically preparing them for when I was going to be living between two different parts of the country.

I needed to name an intermediary, someone to help me run the daily grind while I wasn't there. While I was thinking about all of my employees, about who would be the most qualified, one name came to me above all the others.

There was a man that actually helped to bring me and my Jacy together back in the beginning. His name was Bradley Larkin, and he was obviously a very good guy. He was good at his job, and Jacy even helped him with his legal issues in the past. If Jacy approves of him enough to help him, then he must be the right man for the job. Though, when I told him about it all, he was a little shocked. Actually, he was very shocked.

Brad had even seemed a little shocked when he learned that Jacy and I were together, married and that she was the mother of my new baby. I may or may not have been a proud daddy and showed off her little picture to a few people at the office. Could you blame me, though? She was just so beautiful.

Now that I had someone working on running the office for me, I was spending a lot more time with my family. When Thanksgiving rolled around, and Maya was a month and a half old, I thought it was time for Jacy and I to have a date night while Auntie EZ babysat for us.

The date wasn't on the holiday. Nope, it was the weekend after, on Saturday to be exact. I decided to take my beautiful mate out for a lovely dinner at her favorite BBQ restaurant. After that, we saw an action movie in the theater and took a walk in the park.

It was cold outside right now, so that meant that we got to huddle close together and share our warmth, or that's what it looked like to the others that were there as well. We didn't feel as cold as the humans did, but it helped us to blend in more. Plus, it was a date, so I wanted to be close to her.

Not being able to feel the cold as much didn't mean that we didn't get cold at all though, and after we walked through the darkened park for a couple of hours, looking at the snow covered beauty of the landscape, we actually did need to warm up.

I took Jacy home and made some hot chocolate for us to sip while snuggling in front of the fireplace, I had Jacy on my lap. This date was already so perfect, with all this snuggling and holding onto each other. It was sweet and calm, so different than any of our other dates.

I was sitting there, rubbing my hand up and down Jacy's arm to provide her with warmth. There was nothing said, not a peep, but Jacy set aside her cup then shifted her body so that she was straddling my thighs and looking me in the eyes.

She still didn't say a word as she pressed her lips to mine. The rich saccharine taste of the chocolate on her lips caused me to sigh just before I set my own cup on the table next to hers. This felt like a taste of heaven, and I knew that I wasn't going to be able to stop myself tonight.

She didn't seem like she wanted to stop either. Jacy was slowly unbuttoning my shirt while she slipped her tongue into my mouth and explored it slowly. I began working on her clothes as well, lifting the hem of her shirt and breaking the kiss so that I could pull it over her head.

When we came together again, Jacy placed her lips on my neck, next to the mark she had given me.

"Kyle." She whispered my name before licking slowly over the mate mark.

"Jacy." I sighed her name and started to undo the fastening of her jeans. Her nimble fingers were matching mine and sliding down the zipper of my own jeans.

"I love you." The words were soft, and oh so sweet.

"I love you too."

We weren't in a hurry. There was no rush. We just helped each other out of our clothes and ran our hands over each other's naked bodies. I think we both wanted this to be a slow and steady love making, something that wasn't hurried or frantic.

With my lips on Jacy's, our tongues slowly tangling together, I moved her body just a little bit and positioned myself at her entrance. With just a little bit of force, I pulled her down and slid inside of her.

"Ngh!" She moaned quietly into my mouth and I swallowed the sound.

I still didn't hurry. I still didn't rush. I just started to move my hips gently while slowly moving her body with my grip on her hips. The feeling of her squeezing my overly heated and hard shaft after so long, so much time has passed  without us coming together like this, it felt like I had literally died and been given eternal happiness.

Jacy's body had also tightened in my absence. Her passage felt tighter and squeezed me more than she used to. It was so amazing that even with the slow and steady rhythm that we had, it was quickly pushing me to my limit.

With both of us breathing faster than usual, we climbed that peak together. And with Jacy's digging her fingers into my back, she came moaning my name in a long, loud cry.

"KYLE!"

"Jacy!" I moaned hers as well as I came inside of her.

She collapsed onto me, and I held her against my chest. That was how we stayed. The only adjustment that I made was me sliding out of her body and laying us down on the couch to sleep there in front of the fire.

I woke to the feeling of Jacy moving around in my arms. I didn't want to let her go just yet. I wanted to sleep some more.

"Stop it, Kyle. We need to get up, EZ will be back with Maya soon." She had a point, I knew that, but that didn't stop me from wanting to hold her naked body against me for a little while longer.

"Just let me hold you a little more. I need to feel some more of you. I need to smell more of your scent. That sweet raspberries and cream with a hint of coconut and almond."

I sat up then, my eyes popping open and Jacy crying out in surprise as I pulled her with me.

"What the hell, Garfield? What did you do that for?"

"Because your scent doesn't have coconut and almonds." I turned to look at her surprised face.

"Well, clearly you were mistaken, because there is no one else here."

I couldn't help but grin as I looked at her. I kissed her and pulled her into a tight hug, but she was fighting me the entire time for some reason.

"Stop it. What the hell is wrong with you?" She was smiling so I knew she was joking but I was still overjoyed.

"There is someone else here, Jacy." I grinned at her, but she looked around worried, thinking that she had missed something.

"Who?"

"You, me, and.." I placed a hand over her belly as I ended my sentence which prompted her to look down then at me with her eyes opened as wide as they would go.

"No way." She breathed the words so softly that even I barely heard them.

"Yes, you, me, and baby number two."

"Damn you, Kyle." She slapped me, hard, right in the middle of the chest.

"OUCH!"

"You're just using me as a baby factory dammit!" She glared at me.

"I swear, Jacy, I didn't do either of them on purpose. It just happened."

"Oh, yeah sure it did." She was no longer glaring at me, instead she was looking down at her belly.

"I swear. I didn't mean to get you pregnant either time, but I won't deny that I am happy. I love you and our children."

"After this one is born, you're never getting in me again unless you wrap that thing."

"Yes, dear." I pulled her into my arms and saw that there was a hint of a smile on her face as she hugged her stomach. She wasn't mad really, just surprised.
