Chapter 175 - The Top Three(1)

Chapter 175: The Top Three(1)

After killing the four-elements spirit, Eris became the first participant to clear the black dungeon.

But since the fight proved to be too difficult for him, he laid there unconscious on the ground for several months straight.

In this fight, he lost every weapon he had carried to the dungeon, and offensive talismans he had gained until now. Since his element skills did little to no damage to the spirit, he self-destructed all of his weapons and used every single item that he could use, even to hurt it a little bit.

If he had met the leader from the start, his end result would've been death, but since killing the ordinary element spirits increased his power, he was able to kill the leader after a hard-fought battle.

Time flew by, and seven months passed. It had been more than 21 years since the participants entered the event, while only around two hours had passed in reality.

During this period of twenty-one years, Eris was the only participant who had cleared the black dungeon. Many others tried to enter, but each of them faced a single end result, death.

It had been seven months since Eris cleared his first black dungeon, but after that, he hadn't been able to hunt another since he hadn't regained his consciousness yet despite the passing of several months.

Except for his body below his waist, his injuries from the battle with the element spirit had already healed. It still hadn't healed completely. Only the area above his knee had regenerated, and from the looks of it, it looked like it would still take a few more months for his body to get complete.

"Ugh!"

Suddenly, a groan rang in the area as Eris's hands slightly moved. As if it was a chain reaction, his entire body, out of nowhere, began shaking.

During the shaking, his knee began regenerating at a rate visible to the naked eyes. After his body had fully recovered, his eyes suddenly opened up.

He had only regained his consciousness a moment earlier. The energy he had gotten after the death of the leader was freely moving in his body, so he forced half of it to the area below his waist to complete his body and heal any internal injury that stayed there.

"Ugh!"

He groaned once again as he clutched his head due to the headache. The next moment, he tried to stand up, but surprisingly, it didn't take any effort for him to stand up. It looked as if he had never gotten injured to such an extent. It was only a dream.

After picking up the reward he had gotten from the red egg, he left the dungeon in search of another black dungeon he could clear.

Fortunately, he got a spear from the red egg since he had lost every weapon he had gotten until now.

Time flew by, and a few years passed. It has been 24 years since the participants entered the event.

When the event began, more than two hundred thousand participants joined, but after the passing of twenty-four years, only 3859 participants were left alive in the event.

Only seven of the left participants managed to clear the black dungeons, and Eris was the only one to complete more than one. While around 30% of the left participants hadn't even been able to enter any white dungeons, so the crowd stopped watching them, and the majority focused on the seven participants who had cleared a black dungeon.

Evelyn was one of the seven participants that had been able to clear a black dungeon. She was currently in search of another black dungeon.

She had come across a few ones, but feeling the pressure from them made her quit the thought of entering them. Her status screen showed her levels, so she understood that the dungeons here had levels.

Finally, after searching for months, she came across a black dungeon that didn't give her any threatening pressure. She took a deep breath and entered it.

Out of the seven participants, only two were the store's regular customers, Maria and Evelyn.

Robert was one of the beings who had arrived in his store for the first time. He belonged to the human race. Unlike most of the crowd, he didn't come here after hearing about the announcement.

He was a peak Dharma Monarch(Prana cultivation system, equivalent to Heavenly Monarch). He, like Elasha, majored in the field of divination, but both of them had different abilities.

While Elasha could somewhat predict events related to anyone, Robert could only predict the events for him.

Today morning, when he was meditating, he suddenly had an intuition that something good would happen to him, so he didn't wait and used his skills, which brought him to this tiny Kingdom and in the store.

Since Robert belonged to one of the most mysterious and powerful organizations of the Primal dimension, and his parents had both already ascended, it was obvious that he was one of the most gifted individuals in the entire dimension.

To show his talent, when he reached the level of Dharma Monarch, he was only 31 at that time, making him one of the youngest Immortals. He was currently only 1268 years old.

Since he became an Immortal at a very young age, his actual appearance was that of a six-year old child, but he used the disguise of an old man to look mature to others.

When he entered the dungeon, at the start, his luck helped him, and he didn't get any strong dungeons in green and yellow levels.

But he knew that the easier the starting dungeons, the harder it would be for him to clear the stronger dungeons, so he cleared every level of dungeons until the next level of dungeon didn't give him any pressure.

This tactic worked, and he became overpowered for many of the dungeons he entered due to clearing a lot of dungeons.

When he came across his first black dungeon, he felt so much pressure that he cleared white dungeons for three straight years, and only then Robert returned to hunt it, and as he had expected, it only took him a month to clear it.

Today he was entering another black dungeon after clearing white dungeons for the last year.

"Now, it's good!" He murmured after feeling no pressure from the black crack in front of him.. A smirk spread across his face as he touched it, and the next moment, he disappeared.
