Chapter 166 - Aisad

Chapter 166: Aisad

Time flew by, and another eight years passed, taking the count to more than sixteen years, while outside the store, it had been over 90 minutes since the event began.

In the last 45 minutes, 483 participants joined the event, taking the count of participants to 287,594. Out of the total number of participants, only 88,762 participants were still participating in the event.

Even though sixteen years had passed, there wasn't a single participant that was able to clear a black dungeon until now.

The difficulty jumped several folds from the blue dungeon to the white dungeon. Even the regular creatures in the white dungeon were stronger than the leader of the blue dungeon, and also their numbers had also increased by hundred folds, making the challenge tougher.

Julian, who was riding on his sky-high luck, was the first to cross the white dungeon, using the combination of Dragon Breath and Infinite Energy.

In the white dungeon, he found strong opponents belonging to the race of Wyrms, but Dragon Breath proved to be a herculean task for the Wyrms to defeat, and in the end, they lost. He didn't get any special reward after killing the leader, but he didn't mind since he had gotten drunk in the power of the Dragon Breath.

After that, he challenged several white dungeons and won. Unlike the previous color dungeons, the fastest clear he had was 141 days, so it took him seven years until he got full of the white dungeons.

After getting bored of the white dungeon, Julian started searching for black dungeons. After searching for days, he finally found one.

It was a crack the size of anything Julian had never seen before. Standing near it alone sent chills down his spine.

Julian started having doubts about whether he wanted to clear some more dungeons, but the next moment, the combined skills gave him confidence that he would clear this dungeon like he cleared the past dungeons.

After having enough confidence, he took a deep breath and entered the dungeon.

After entering the dungeon, his face turned pale, and he lost all of his colors. The next moment, a sudden pressure arrived on him and forced him to kneel in front of the being that had scared him.

In front of him stood only a single being that had a curious look in its eyes when Julian appeared in the dungeon.

Julian had never seen anything like the being before, but right after he appeared here, an eerie feeling pervaded his mind and horrified him.

The being curiously looking at Julian belonged to the race called Aisad.

Aisads belonged to the group of demon races and were one of the overlords of the Primal dimension. Only Hygars were above them when it came to power.

His good fortune finally ran out, and he found one of the worst enemies he could encounter before reaching the golden dungeon.

Julian tried to use Dragon Breath to force him out of this suppression, and it worked, but instead of getting free, he found himself floating and then getting pulled by an invisible hand, only to stop when he reached the being and could see it clearly.

"Oh, a mediocre being but horrifying skill," A female voice rang in the area the next moment. The voice contained a hint of curiosity and seduction.

Julian looked at the being and could finally get the complete look.

Six curved horns covered in spikes sat atop the being's head. On the top of each horn, a different kind of flame burnt, signifying the control of the being over six kinds of flames.

Two black eyes covered the entirety of the being's face. A confused look appeared on Julian's face as he didn't find ears, nose, or mouth, but he didn't have to for long, as the next moment, a vertical jaw appeared right below the chest and ended right above the waist.

"Let's hope you taste good!"

Another voice rang in the area that sent chills down Julian's spine.

Julian didn't want to go without fighting, so he used the Dragon Breath and attacked the vertical mouth of the being.

"Delicious!"

The next moment, a dumbfounded expression appeared on Julian's face as instead of the Dragon Breath harming the being, the being ate the entire energy attack. Julian didn't know that he had done the worst thing at that moment.

Aisads were beings that only had control over two elements. They were fire and devouring. They could devour anything and everything.

If a child who could barely lift it got a hammer, he couldn't destroy the wall, similarly the Dragon Breath was an unbelievably powerful attack, but its user wasn't, so instead of harming the Aisad, the Aisad devoured it.

And now that the Aisad had found the attack tasty, it wouldn't kill Julian. Instead, it would force him to use Dragon Breath so that it could enjoy the delicacy.

As anticipated, the Aisad forced Julian to use Dragon Breath to enjoy the taste for seven days. If Julian refused, the Aisad would use Soul Fire, one form of the fire element, to burn his soul.

Since participants couldn't quit the event inside the dungeon, Julian had to accept the torture and continue feeding the Dragon Breath Aisad.

Finally, after seven days, the Aisad got bored of the taste of the attack, it decided to kill Julian and send him on his way to the afterlife. The creatures in the dungeon had the same intellect as the creatures of reality, and they believed themselves to be part of this place until their death. The system had done this so that no creature submits to the participant due to their high intellect.

Two other participants other than Julian tried to enter the Black dungeon, but the other two decided to clear more white dungeons first after facing the pressure from the black crack. They got the sense that they were still too weak to clear the black dungeon, so they left.

Pento was the first participant to clear the white dungeon, but he couldn't continue the same momentum and was currently only at the blue dungeon. He was currently fighting against the Infernals in his second entry at the blue dungeon.

His sister Brinda was fighting in her first white dungeon. She had just entered the white dungeon and found an endless jungle waiting for her. A few moments later, she found a group of Moonlight Elves coming at her, so she took a deep breath and got ready to fight.

Similarly, Lenna was also in her first white dungeon. She had reached the level of entering the white dungeon many years ago, but since she didn't want to take a risk, she trained for a few years and finally was ready today to clear a white dungeon.

Elasha was also fighting in the white dungeon, and it was her sixteenth entry into the white dungeon. The dungeon belonged to the den of Scarlet Wyrms. She easily defeated the ordinary wyrms and was currently fighting against the leader of the dungeon.

The wyrm had blood leaking all over its body due to numerous injuries. It was angrily glaring at the stranger who had entered its den and killed its family members. Elasha, who did not even have a hint of a scratch, looked playfully at the wyrm and provoked it by gestures.

When Maria got the Necromancer system, she got several folds stronger than she was, and it also gave her a chance to win either of the three territories.

Despite getting an overpowered reward from the red egg, she didn't get overconfident and continued cautiously clearing dungeons.

As with every clear of the dungeon, she got an increase in power as well as the skills of the Necromancer.

When she got the system, she could only revive two undead creatures, but after she killed a leader, the number grew to three, and so on. Currently,  she has an army of more than a million creatures.

Approximately 80% of the army belonged to the blue dungeon creatures, while the other 20% belonged to the orange dungeon.

She was currently standing in front of her first white dungeon.

"Let's hope I'm not very far from other participants," She whispered, looking at the white crack in the space.

She then took a deep breath and touched the crack. The next moment, an invisible suction force came out of nowhere and pulled her in.

The next moment, she appeared inside the dungeon.

She found herself in an entirely different environment from the last dungeons she had cleared.

She appeared in a center of what looked to be a ghost town.
