Chapter 204 - Teaching(2)

Mina looked confused "why? if it's true then it only makes sense to let people know." she said innocently. nick shook his head "in fact the exact opposite is true as the fact of the matter is that telling other people would likely get you killed since most people would consider it unfair and since they can't argue with heaven they would take out their frustration on you instead." he warned seriously. "well enough about that i shall now guide you on a basic cultivation art that is designed specifically for nature's children called the rainbow world technique. now the reason you will be using this technique rather than the one i gave the others is because the qi that is found everywhere is actually an amalgamation of each elemental qi and the technique they have can only separate at most three different types of qi for their consumption whereas being a nature child such an action is unnecessary and wasteful so you need a technique that refines all of the elemental qi's equally thus maximizing your gains." he said patiently. "does this mean i will be stronger than the others?" mina asked curiously.

Nick shook his head "not necessarily , you see there are benefits to each type of talent as well as downsides as well for example while you may advance your cultivation much faster than the others at the beginning they will advance faster than you after the nascent soul tier since they will not have their attention divided on multiple laws like you will. the easiest way to explain it is that its like building a house where there are a bunch of steps till its finished while they focus their entire attention on a single step you will have your attention on every step at the same time making you far slower." nick explained honestly. "does this mean you also advance slower than others as well?" mina asked curiously. "i am a bit of a special case since I'm pretty sure i am monstrously talented even for a nature child due to several reasons i won't be getting into." nick said effectively dodging the question. thankfully mina didn't seem interested in continuing the conversation so nick moved on by handing a book he took out of seemingly nowhere to mina "if you don't understand anything in the book ask and I'll do my best to clarify it for you."

Mina nodded before opening the book and reading it for about five minutes before she can across something she didn't understand that nick clarified , this repeated until she finished the book an hour later and asked to stop since she had a headache from the sudden info dump. nick of course agreed since even he was a child at one point in time so after dismissing mina he pondered what he should leave behind after he completes the trial and heads back to the welk clan.
