Chapter 161 - Conspiracy

The door to nicks residence easily weighed a quarter ton meaning that even the strongest normal human would struggle to move it an inch much less someone only just stronger then a normal knight. obviously the leader couldn't move the door by himself which stunned both himself as well as the other members of the group. the leader fell on his backside panting heavily while the muscles in his arms and legs spasmed from the exertion. gulping large amounts of air to recover the leader looked at one particular member of the group "are you sure the target entered this place that door must weigh as much as a carriage?" he asked seriously. the member who was looked at nodded "aye boss saw him enter using only a single hand i can show ye how if ye want." the member said with an accent. the leader stood up shakily " yes i wonder if there is some secret to this damn door." he said before moving out of the way. the member walked up to the door and imitated nick exactly before trying to move the door. the door didn't even twitch leaving everyone looking at it dumbfounded.

"This mission might be much harder than anticipated." the leader said seriously a deep frown on his face under the mask. "if this door truly has no secret then I'm afraid our target has monstrous amounts of strength and we might have massive amounts of casualties." the leader continued "lets retreat for now we need more information on the target before we act." he said before silently retreating along with his group. nick wasn't aware of any of this and even if he was he wouldn't care since he was basically invincible in the world. meanwhile the leader of the group was kneeling in a small room lit only by a single candle. "apologize sir but due to the extreme nature of this job it was decided that we need more information before taking action." he said apologetically. in front of the leader a young man with bright blue eyes and long blonde hair with a toned body sat looking unhappy. "explain yourself." the young man commanded. the leader shivered slightly "we followed the target his place of residence which because it was made entirely of stone meant we need to enter rather than smoke of the target." he paused for a moment.

"Flanking either side of the entrance my men stood ready while i myself tried to open the door only to discover that i could not." the leader said seriously. the young man frowned "in what way could you not?" he asked curious. "at first we assumed there may have been a trick needed to open it but upon having the individual who saw the target enter mimic the method the target used we discovered that there was no trick used." the leader explain seriously. the young man was stunned "if there is no trick then why could you not enter?" he asked seriously. "according to my estimation the door must have weighed as much as a small carriage." the leader replied honestly. "impossible!" the young man cried out in disbelief. "we also are skeptical of this possibility which is why we temporarily retreated to gather more information." the leader said honestly. the young man calmed himself "i understand , tomorrow he will be out in public at that time you will use one of the special carriages to get it to fall on him so we can test his strength." the young man said with a glint in his eyes.
