Chapter 254 - Tourist

Neither jakob or millea said anything to nick since it was pretty clear that he realized how overboard he went with the base upgrades. the worse part for nick however was that even knowing that his home was completely unique he also knew a few ways it could be improved making it even more stupidly broken. it was a good thing nick fled as quickly as he did as moments after he did every expert above ascension in the world showed up looking to strangle nick for a variety of reasons. the most prevalent reason however was that thanks to whatever nick had done this world is soon going to be swarmed by cultivators from across the heavens curious above whatever he had done or to put it bluntly , tourist were coming. one or two foreign experts would not be a problem however that heavenly announcement extended to every cultivator above ascension meaning at the least that several thousand cultivators are likely to show up. the shear amount of ascendant cultivators will cause a sort of unhealthy expansion of the worlds strength that will leave it heavily weakened once the foreign cultivators left.

After a weeks worth of time the native experts fears were realized as droves of foreign experts started to descend from the void looking for the source of the announcement. meanwhile that very source was hiding in his pocket dimension on his floating base looking depressed. "i don't get it how could literally no one in the entire universe make something similar , it just doesn't make sense logically." nick complained loudly while millea massaged his shoulders and nodding in agreement. "you are right that it is odd that no one had done something similar , even i think its unusual since it seems like something that cultivators would naturally do given how they normally act." millea said with a feeling of suspicion. what neither of them knew was that the reason it had never been done before is that majority of cultivators thought that a pocket dimension or domain was the ultimate form of base while the remaining cultivators simple thought that being underground was the best for of residence meaning that literally no other cultivator had thought to create a mobile base that flies like nick had.

When nick finished upgrading his base the heavens read his intentions of having a space fairing base and could determine that nick would indeed acquire such a thing eventually so it made the announcement prematurely so it didn't need to deal with it later.
