Chapter 84 - The Magical Waterfalls

Help us please I prayed to anyone that could listen and is ready to help, suddenly I had an extended kind of power overwhelmed by my own body, by a profound strength I can't explain.

With Zenab still clenching on my hand I let the power consume me, I sank in it. After a while, I suddenly began to pull Zenab up with just one hand of mine. The weight that was pulling me down with him become something light I could easily pull up with no struggle.

"Hang in on Zenab" I snuffle as I continue to pull him up. We both fall on our backs as we breathe heavily.

I couldn't explain the immense joy I felt when that nightmare was over.

"Are you okay Nancy?" Zenab asked as his breath was still uneven.

"Yes, you?" I mumble turning to face him as a slight smile hits his lips.

"How on earth did you do that?" he asked still surprised by how I managed to pull him up all by myself.

"I just did," I said as I stood up on my feet. "Are you coming?" I turn to look at him.

"Where to?" he said springing off to his feet as he walks behind.

"My prince, what happened to the two of you? Why did you leave without taking any of your guards my prince?" a voice said from behind making both of us turn to see who it was. His bodyguards never seem to be a part of him.

"Relax, I only wanted to take my sister out for a walk. Well, thank the universe we both didn't fall over the cliff.

When I should be the one protecting her, she happened to be the one to save me from falling." he grins.

"Thank the universe you are both okay," his lead guard whispers.

"I want to take a bath" I rumble taking off my royal coat.

"Alright my princess we will get ready to return," the royal guard said trying to untie our horses. I stopped in front of the waterfall drizzling down and stares at both their faces.

"Who, said she wants to go back to the palace now?" Zenab whimpered leaving him dumbfounded.

"Oh," he said with his mouth open.

"The princess looks weak sometimes but other times she is more than ten men put together" he pouts.was that a compliment? I shook my head with a light smile.

"Are you coming?" I smirk as they all give me a weird look. "Is the crown prince of Zamuniland that scared to take a risk?" I teased bruising his ego.

"Hell no, I'm a risk-taker. Of course, I'm coming along" he said boldly but as if his confidence has left him. He apparently is scared of height. I use to be afraid of heights too but I have the urge of jumping that high.

"Ready," I said as we both count up to 3 and jump on the last count with a loud shout, our voices echoed back in our ears. We floated in the air for a while before landing in the water making a loud splash. Because of the high, we jump from it to us a minute or two to swim up to the surface.

Under the water indescribable, the water was aquarium-blue it was just breathtaking. Zenab floated to the surface before me. He got restless when he didn't see me, he dive back into the water in search of me.

I was swimming under the water enjoying the pristine scenery, the beautiful creatures of the water. I finally made my way to the surface of the water springing off the wet string of hair on my face.

The sight and the erupting sound of each drop were so appealing, there is something so enthralling about viewing water somersault off a rock face into intense water underneath. It's just magical.

Zenab interrupted my thoughts.

"OMG, are you okay what took you so long to come out?" Zenab sniffs as he runs his hand through his wet hair.

"Enjoying the exquisite of the place" I pout.

"Seriously Nancy this is crazy," he said as he swam to a rock and pulls himself up from the water.

"You are such a nervous wreck sometimes" I tease splashing water on him.

"You think princess brave?" he mumbles splashing more water on me as I return the favor.

"This was not how I plan for the day to be like but this is great," he said with a smile.

"Yeah I had so much fun," I said as I stumble my foot in the water sitting next to Zenab on the piece of rock. We took off most of our heavy dress to dry them off on the rock.

"What is this place?" I asked curiously.

"Um… I have not descended down here before but up there are the boundaries of Zamuniland" he pouts.

If I get him right we are on another man's land?

"Zenab..." I called out his name, as my voice tremble in fear.

"Yes"

"What country is next to Zamuniland?" I asked while Zenab lay on his back enjoying the sun as its rays smash on his face.

"Hmmm… grandpa said we are surrounded by thick deep forest" he whispered unbothered still laying there with his hands under his head.

"You mean we are still in the parameters of Zamuniland?" I mutter. I could feel eyes watching us.

"Yes Nancy"

"Um… how do we get back to the top of the cliff?" I asked again putting on my clothes.

"Well genius, it's up to you to get us home okay" he teased.

"I'm serious Zenab, the sun is about to go down, I think we should start heading back home," I said tapping him to get up.

"Come on the sun is still up, are you done enjoying the scenery?" he rumbles.

"Yes I'm hungry and I want to go home".

"Alright I will get us some to eat".

"No, let go now".

"Fine" he restored as he puts on his clothes and wear his shoes. I couldn't wait to be out of there. I felt we were in danger and I couldn't explain why. We came out of the water and stood in front of the mountain.

Obviously, we had to find a way to climb the mountains. Zenab places his two fingers in his mouth and blows a whistle. Immediately the guards stood above the cliff and watch us.

He signals them to find us a robe that can pull us up.

"Zenab, I feel we have company" I mutter when I heard something like the sound of horse footsteps.

"Are you sure? Stay close behind me" he ordered as he shove his hands in front of me and his eyes travel everywhere in search of whoever was spying on us.

"Who are you? Show your faces?" he hollers.

Just then they came out of their hiding places, I was right. I stumble back when I saw them, I thought I have seen it all, werewolves, vampires, and witches but this? Zenab holds me as I clench onto his arms.

"W-what are those?" I whimper as my heart shed and my face horrified.

"I only heard stories about them when I was growing up as a boy, I never imagine they exist. They are called centaurs" he whispers.

A centaur is a race of creatures believe to be dwelling in the mountains of Thessaly and Arcadia, a creature that is half-man, half-horse. Their upper bodies are of humans and their lower body is that of a body of a horse.

"Are we safe Zenab?" I whimper. They were both men and women.

"According to the stories I heard they have no self-control when it comes to women and battles," he said as if that was a good thing.

"Should I be happy about that?" I scoff.

"We come in peace, we will just leave, we don't want any trouble" Zenab grumbles.

They spoke a different language we both didn't understand. Without another word two of them grab Zenab and me.

"Come on let's talk about this" Zenab pouts.

"Put me down right this instant!" I commanded. He probably didn't understand what I said but the anger in my face might have sent the message. He raises me up and has a closer look at me before he continues to walk.

We were a tiny stick in their hands.

"Why don't you give up, they can't understand what we are saying anyway" Zenab mumble relaxing.

"Really now, you must be kidding me, how could you be so relaxed in such a situation?" I snap angrily.

"Well, I almost died today so I guess my time is up" he made a joke out of the situation as I roll my eyes.

"Well, I don't want to die as some creature's meal" I snap.

"Think about it, how fun it will be to die together, besides their palm is very warm and comforting imagine their belly?" he jokes again

"I'm done talking to you Zenab," I said angrily turning my face to the other side as they continue to walk to god knows where.
