Chapter 521 - Is it hard to show your private life?

Name:Tell Me Again, My Love Author:Fifie
Ryn pursed her lips silently when she noticed the cameras. It seemed like it was not a sudden plan for Jeremy to bring her here for dinner. The crews were already aware of their destination and already set up the cameras at their table. And she guessed the restaurant's owner was happy to allow the shooting as once her episode was shown, it would be a free

promotion for the restaurant.

Just like the restaurant Harry brought her last time, during the first episode.

She guessed it was a win-win situation for everyone.

She sat on the chair Jeremy pulled for her and accepted the napkin to be placed on her ŀȧps. Then, she accepted the menu from the waiter.

She did not take long to order. She ignored the entree section and ordered from the main dish.... triple the amount. For desert, she chose a simple chocolate mousse. For her drink, she did not choose alcoholic drink but a simple iced tea to wash everything. She planned for a refill for that as well but did not tell the shocked waitress.

Jeremy, ignoring the frozen waitress, took his time to order. He chose the whole set including entree but reminded the waitress not to follow the usual pattern. Just send everything at the same time and if the restaurant couldn't, prioritise Ryn's order first.

The waitress returned with the order but she could not help glancing back at the couple a few times. She knew the couple was filming something and she recognized Jeremy as a singer but the woman with him, was she... a monster? A triple portion for one person?

The waitress did not know her little action was caught by the camera and the director who was in a van watching the whole recording was laughing his heart out. He liked the recording today. Once again Ryn did not disappoint him with her antic. Of course, he liked seeing the other side of the couple; serious and caring about others. He could not sense any pretence or scripted from the couple when they were discussing their project on how to help the orphanage. They really were serious about the project. And then, a small glimpse of their relationship when he spontaneously teased her and she replied back accordingly. Not to forget the earlier hug they shared when she was trying to calm

him down.

"Did you sleep well last night?"

The director quickly stopped his laughter, well, tried to. He opened his eyes wide so he would not miss anything.

"I overslept," she confessed with a frown.

"So you missed your breakfast this morning?" he reached her hand and rubbed it gently, as if he was trying to make her feel better.

"Breakfast and lunch," Ryn scowled.

He chuckled.

"As long as you have enough rest."

She ċȯċked an eyebrow but refused to retort anything. It would make her frustrated.

"Sleep early tonight," he said.

The food arrived and it lifted Ryn's mood. Luckily for Jeremy, his food arrived at the same time as hers. However, instead of eating his entree, he pulled her plate to him and started to cut the steak into smaller pieces. He did the same to the other two plates before he started to eat his entree.

The waitress was not far from them, making sure to immediately came once her presence was needed. The couple did not need to call for her once they cleaned a plate when she reached there and asked politely if she could take the plate.

The same waitress also arranged the main dish for Jeremy and took Ryn's glass for a refill.

She returned with the refill and once she gave it to the couple, she went back to her position and waited.

He handed his credit card once they finished their dinner. She checked her phone and chuckled.

"Mika?" He guessed.

"Hmm... she reminded me about tomorrow. I'm screwed," Ryn almost giggled with the thought of not purchasing the tickets yet. "I'll order it the first thing tomorrow, before breakfast."

"The photo of the day, have you taken it yet?" He asked. He took out his phone and checked.

"Not yet, I think," she frowned, trying to remember. She opened the apps and realized she hadn't done it yet. She opened the camera and handed it to him.

"I wish you can include my photo for today's picture," he said when he saw her busy with posting her picture.

"You know how I feel about this," she replied without thinking.

He sighed heavily. But he knew it was her unconscious action after the hurt. She after all hasn't opened her heart totally to him. He was still under probation in their relationship.

The waitress handed back his credit card and he stood up. He was about to offer his hand to her but she already stood up and waited for him. He shook his head. What did he expect? A loving look from her and those 3 words he missed coming out from her rosy red lips?

They walked back to the car. He no longer tried to ask her to include him in the post. Instead, he looked around once they were out of the building. Then, he stopped.

"J?" She stopped when she could not feel him walking beside her.

"The moon is beautiful tonight."

She looked up at the moon, unknowingly showing a side profile with the moon shone on her face.

Without warning, he took her photo. It was so quick that she did not notice it until the end. He did not post it immediately after all. Instead, he continued his walk after holding her hand.

He started the engine without revealing his inner thought. She, already comfortable in her seat, slowly drifted to sleep. She was finally full and right now her body demanded her to rest.

She needed to steal minutes she could to sleep because she knew once she reached home and was done with the filming, she would face the interview. Ah, if only she did not agree with the filming. Screw the payment.

Wait, she could use half of the payment for the project.

Now her bitter heart no longer felt unhappy when she thought how much she could help for the kids.

The car stopped in front of her home. He looked at her and smiled to see how deep she was sleeping.

However, instead of leaning forward and kissed her lips to wake her up, he simply got out of the car and went to her side.

"Ryn, wake up. We have arrived," he said gently as he shook her. He was careful not to be too rough until she was shocked. He wanted her to wake up slowly and gradually.

She looked at him with her blurry eyes. She was still drowsy and forgot where she was.

"We've arrived," he whispered but did not make a move to kiss her. But his eyes shone with his dėsɨrė.

"Good night," she said after she got out of the car.

"Night," he said. He did not try to persuade her to allow him to stay for the night. He did not want this private side of theirs show nationwide. This was their private life and should stay private. And he knew she wanted it that way as well.

Maybe one day they would be like Jason and Mika who always showed off their relationship in their social media. But right now, they would try hard not

to be too obvious... well... as obvious as he would love to show. He wanted to show off their romance but kisses and more than that were too much for him. He was not like Jason who gleefully showed photo of him and Mika kissing during their holiday or a picture of him kissing Mika's engaged ring after the successful proposal.

The picture he secretly caught, he would not post it... yet. In fact, he would print it out and put it on his desk in the office.

"Sleep early," he reminded before he got into the car, without a kiss.

"Bye. Drive safely," she waved and watched as the car brought him away from her.

Covering her yawn with her hand, she turned and unlocked the door. Then, she entered it with the crews following behind.

"Miss Ryn, can we do the interview now?" The director asked carefully when he saw her yawning non-stop.

"Yeah, sure," Ryn replied.

She sat on the chair and waited for the cameraman to adjust the focus. Then, she smiled and introduced herself with nary a show of how sleepy and exhausted she was. This different persona shocked the crews so much that they blinked their eyes at her. Silently, the director decided to show the transation during the final edit. He needed to show this to show why Ryn was loved by the brands. When working, she was serious and even when she was exhausted, no one could see it once she in her working mode. And he guessed the interview part was, for her, a part of her job.

Then, the director started asking questions based on what happened. Of course, he needed to ask about the picture scene.

"Why did you refuse to post a picture of both of you?"

Ryn scratched her nape unconsciously, trying to find the answer. She could not say that her trauma stopped her from being too... happy with their relationship. It was a way for her heart to protect her.

"I... try not to show my life too much... I mean, I like to keep my life mostly private," she answered slowly.

"Is it hard to show your private life?"

Ryn sighed heavily. "I don't know why people want to watch me. I am a boring person."

Every one who was in the room just blinked their eyes at her when she said it calmly.

She smiled as she rubbed her nape awkwardly. Did she just say something weird... again?
