He smiled back at her but it didn't reach his eyes.

While everyone else was clapping, Xiujun had his hands tightly clasped together on his ŀȧps.

Xueyan nudged him, "Are you okay?"

He flashed her a faint smile. "What do you think?"

To be sincere they weren't as close as they pretended to be in public, it was all for the camera but they still said hi when it was proper.
