The premiere began with Chu Feng mounting the stage, he gave a deep bow and smiled before starting his speech.

He pondered over it for a while.

She readied her fingers behind her, ready to knock him off if he disagreed.

"Fine,"

Ruqin almost sighed out loud. Her lips twitched as she couldn't pull her eyes away from the lock under the royal throne.

The man's eyes followed her and he narrowed it at her. She wasn't any ordinary person, if she was able to enter the royal office without anyone seeing her, guards surrounded the palace so she wasn't one to be joked with.

Ruqin finally gave up, today wasn't her lucky day but she will try again.

As soon as she stepped out, she met a train of guards. "Now what have I gotten myself into?" She mumbled, she looked away to avoid eye contact. From the corner of her eyes, she saw a man heading towards her, he inspected her. 

"Who are you?"

Ruqin was still looking away. 

"You're not a court maid, neither are you from the kitchen... Who are you?" He put a hand under her chin and forced her to look up at him.

Ruqin opened her mouth but nothing came out of it.

"Answer me! Are you deaf?"

She shook her head no.

"Then you're dumb." 

She nodded this time. She noted the man rough features, he must be the head of the palace guards.

He hissed, "Seize her! She will have to explain herself!"

The instant he finished, the emperor's door opened.

The head guard eyes bulged, the emperor is in here?

"Your..."

"Hahaha," the emperor's laugh filled the whole surrounding, cutting the head guard statement short.

The guards were shocked, but they joined him in laughing.

"What are you all doing here?" The emperor asked, making eyes at the head guard.

He didn't understand what the emperor was doing. "Sire, do you have something in your eyes?"
