“Bowing in thanks?” Kaiden blinked confused.

“You don’t have to. You are fine.”

“…”

“…”

“Alright,” the raven haired man laughed shaking his head with a sigh.

Manager Bon was talking on the phone with another manager. She was humming with narrowed eyes and a frown. The offer would do nothing for her client, but would be a huge boost for the other artist. It would definitely cause an uproar and lead to some possible issue, so she was unsure if this was what was needed.

First off, there was already the issue with Shinny Dolls even singing with Symmony. Second, Xiong Shun’s name covered the entire gossip columns and magazine. Third, people were now adding Lisa’s name to these gossips.

So, did she even want more damn gossip and rumors to be spread?

“Name your price, I will match it,” the manager of the female singer stated.

“Let me talk to him first, then I will give you my price.”

“Alright. I’m looking forward to your call back.”

They hung up and she stared at the silver haired male, smiling and grinning as if he was not tired earlier. Was it the ice cream or the phone calls that got Xiong Shun excited and energized? Manager Bon was unsure, but what she did know was that this performance would skyrocket all their careers.

Over across the city, the idol prince was finishing up his performance.

Suu Jin made sure to have someone record the performances of both Xiong Shun’s and Ping Ping’s. His cousin’s team was performing across the other side of the country, and he was excited to see his dear cousin debut. As he finished his steps and song, he waved and bowed. Smiling and thanking his fans and everyone who cared for him, he walked off stage with a hand towel wiping his face. Staffs turned on the fans and ushered him to sit before it. His makeup was fixed, his hair was fixed, and his clothes were fixed.

Exhaling through his nose, his head was feeling hot again. Sitting before the fans blowing cool air at him, he breathed in the sigh. He smiled to himself as he closed his eyes to see the handsome silver haired man. Ah, it was worth kissing Xiong Shun even during the boy’s fever. Whether or not he caught whatever this was from the upcoming idol, he would never regret it.

“Here,” his manager handed him the phone, “Symmony just preformed. Your cousin hasn’t preformed yet. You got 10 minutes before you get back on stage.”

Suu Jin thanked Manager Yaotzu and watched the performance of Symmony. He found his lips stretching as he saw Xiong Shun working the stage effortlessly and that smile… Shun truly was meant to be an idol. The performance ended and he was about to hand the phone back, but then he heard the announcement that Shinny Dolls and Symmony were going to sing together.

‘What?’

He watched the girls enter the stage, smiling and waving at the audience. His green eyes were on Lisa, the female who was blackmailing him, the female he dated, the female who was going to use him just like-

Inhaling deeply with closed eyes, he exhaled slowly to calm himself. He watched and listened to their song, their tones, the way Shun and Lisa was looking at one another. He narrowed his eyes slightly and watched as they held one another’s hands and lifted it up. He could hear the cheering and the watched the happiness on their faces, but all Suu Jin could think about was how much he wanted to pull Shun’s hand away from Lisa.

“Alright, back out,” Manager Yaotzu spoke up and patted his shoulder.

The idol prince nodded with a straight face and pasted on the smile as he walked out. Like always, he pushed this issue to the back of his mind, but it would return and he would address it.

Soon.

Over on the other side of the country, a new boy group was preforming.

This was their first big stage and all four boys were nervous, but Wen Dong, being the oldest, placed comforting hands on Tee and Marik. Ping was already wrapped around him, so he took a deep breath and grinned at them.

“Let’s show them what we got!”

“Yes!”

“Come on, put your hands in the middle,” he modeled and Ping pulled away to join in on the moment.

All hands landed above his and Wen Dong exuded excitement, causing everyone to feel the same.

“In the count of three. 1, 2, 3!” He exclaimed and they all chimed in, “Mix4U Boys!”

Walking out to the stage when they were called, the boys smiled and waved happily. They got themselves ready and began their performance. They danced and sang easily. Their smiles charmed the hearts of many, their movements were hypnotizing, and their singing called to the audience.

Unfortunately, the music cut off and they stuttered in their song and dance. Wide eyes turned to him and he continued singing and dancing. The others followed until they finished the rest of the song acapella style. Claps were heard and they smiled and waved, bowed and hugged. They thanked everyone who supported him, before leaving the stage.

Within a few minutes, articles of the new boy group, Mix4U Boys, flooded the internet of their bravery, courage, and how well they did on stage. Forums were created and soon, they were being compared with the other new group, Symmony.

For Manager Quang and Manager Ling, they were proud of their group. For Manager Bon, she was definitely going to grow gray hair. Here she was contemplating telling Xiong Shun about this other duet, but then this comparison of groups…

‘Ugh, I know this is a good thing. Man… Why is everyone after this boy?’

She rubbed her temples and was back in the hotel suite staring at her clients laughing. They did well and she was proud. Those online was happy with it and their single EP was being downloaded over 1 million already within a few hours. Good, this was very good for both of her groups.

“Xiong Shun, come here,” she called out and the silver haired boy headed over to sit beside her.

“Yes, Manager Bon?”

“You did well,” she smiled and patted his shoulder, “I promised you ice cream, right?”

She watched the boy nodded excitedly and she laughed.

“First thing first: You know Gina, right?”

“Yes,” Shun nodded smiling, “She was one of the idol on the show to help me.”

“Yeah… She wants to duet with you.”

“Oh, okay.”

“You do know of the issue with her, right?” Manager Bon got serious, “She had a lot of bad publicity because of the past. If you sing with her, it will boost her, but people will start to question you. Especially since you just had the situation with Suu Jin and now Lisa.”

“…”

“…”

“Uh,” Shun pursed his lips thinking about it.

He had read as much as he could about Suu Jin and his past. There were still things he wanted Suu Jin to tell him, since he knew reporters could be liar like that no good Allie. The situation with Gina seemed pretty bad, but honestly… Shun was a curious kitten and wanted to hear the truth from the female’s lips.

‘Ah… Suu Jin might be angry with me…’ He could imagine the frown on those pretty lips, but he looked at Manager Bon and nodded.

“I’ll duet with her.”
