Chapter 46 - Ulquiorra vs Issei 2

Ravel was watching the fight nervously. She didn't even expected that the one Issei would fight is Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra was extremely famous not just in Underworld but in the whole world because of his feat in defeating Evil God Loki.

She opened up a small communication magic circle and contacted Azazel.

"S-Sensei, about the practical..." She said nervously.

"Oh What happened? I'm at the restaurant of the hotel in which we made reservation, and drinking alcohol at noon.. " Azazel said through the communication magic circle.

"Sensei, Issei and Ulquiorra were matched up in the practical test and they were currently battling... " Ravel said.

Spiiiiit!!

Azazel spit out the alcohol in his mouth. He stood up and said, "W-What did you say?"

"I said that Issei and Ulquiorra were matched up in the practical test and they were currently battling... " Ravel repeated what she said before.

"How the hell did that happened?!" Azazel said loudly.

"I-I don't know... " Ravel replied.

"What's wrong, Sensei?" Ravel her Rias voice from the other side.

"Ulquiorra and Issei were matched up in practical test" Azazel said to Rias.

"What?!" Rias was shocked.

"Don't worry, I've read the rules as long as he perform great in the battle he will pass" Azazel ȧssured her.

"But it's Ulquiorra we're talking about... " Rias said worriedly.

Issei slowly stood up and he saw Ulquiorra was standing in the air.

"I know he's strong but this is... " Issei said in a low voice while looking at Ulquiorra. The green gem in his armor started to blink.

BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!

BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!

"Let's go Ddraig!" Issei said as he dashed towards Ulquiorra.

[Yes, partner] Ddraig replied.

The booster in his back started to thrust giving him unmatched speed. He disappeared and appeared right in front of Ulquiorra in an instant.

Ulquiorra thrust his sword in front of him. Issei shifted his body instantly and he managed to avoid the sword. He then grabbed Ulquiorra's sword.

Clang!!

"I've got you now" Issei said as his armor started to grow and it thickened.

Welsh Dragonic Rook!

He pulled back his other arm before he throw it at Ulquiorra.

Ulquiorra raised his arm and block the punch.

Bang!!

"Solid Impact!" Issei roared as put more power into his punch.

Bang!!

Ulquiorra frown as he felt the punch. He was sent flying and he crashed in the ground.

"I'm not done yet" Issei said. His armor started to change once again. A pair of cannon formed in his back.

Welsh Blaster Bishop!

A large amount of magical energy started to swirl around his cannon. After a few seconds of charging it reached it's peak state.

"Eat it! Dragon Blaster!"

A powerful magical attack fired at the cannon. It went straight to where Ulquiorra was.

Boom!!

The ground shook and the barrier was shattered like a piece of fragile glass.

"Not good!" the examiner said as he jumped away to dodge the explosion. Half of the stadium was destroyed by the explosion.

The examiner looked up and saw the devastated land. He opened his mouth and said, "Is this really a Middle-class promotion test?"

The other participants already back away and hid when they felt that the barrier couldn't hold their power.

"Haa... Haaa... Aahhh.. " Issei was breathing heavily. He looked up at the explosion and said, "Did that get him."

Suddenly a green beam shot out from the smoke. The beam went straight at Issei.

Issei instinctively brought his arms to his front and change his armor to Welsh Dragonic Rook.

The beam slammed at his body before it exploded.

Boom!!

Ulquiorra walked out of the smoke with a tottered clothes. He took some wounds but it immediately healed with his regenerative ability. His regeneration ability was so powerful that even if he lose a limbs it would grow back in a single seconds. But all ability has limits and he couldn't take a very lethal damage like what Ichigo did to him.

Ulquiorra looked at Issei who also emerge from the smoke. Issei was glowing in crimson color. The original red armor was now crimson in color. There's also a wing on his back but it's different from his dragon wings. This wings looked like the wings of Divine Dividing only in crimson color.

Crimson Cardinal Promotion!

This was Issei strongest form. The Scale Mail's Queen form that is achieved by gaining the True Queen. He will use all of his got this time. He looked at Ulquiorra who looks the same as before.

'With this I'll force you to release your sword' Issei thought. He remembered that Ulquiorra still has other form. That form was so powerful that he toyed Loki with that. He personally witness it how powerful it was. So he know the wouldn't stood a chance if Ulquiorra release his sword but he want it, if he make the powerful Ulquiorra released his sword to fight him it means that he stronger enough for Ulquiorra to take him a little serioue like Loki.

"STOP!!" the examiner run between them.

"Stop this match! We don't want you to destroy the whole examination area!" The examiner said. "We will give points now so stop fightning, there's still match after you so please don't destroy the examination area. If you destroy it we wouldn't be able to continue this test anymore."
