As for Jiang Sheng who was following Bai Hao to find Pei Siyan.

Jiang Sheng thought he was having an illusion when he was standing on top of the skyscraper with clouds around him.

It was not until Bai Hao spread his wings and took him to fly over the mansion in the air did he realize he was not dreaming.

‘Sh*t! These Majins do have wings! And they can really fly, which is f**king awesome!’

Jiang Sheng was getting jealous for he felt like as a vampire, he seemed to be completely useless.

Bai Hao frowned when he flew over the mansion and saw the ward surrounding it.

He thougth that he would be blocked out of the mansion, but he somehow just went through the ward with Jiang Sheng in his arms, along with Xi Que and the magic fish who were following behind.

Bai Hao was really shocked because he was a Majin, and according to the sorcerers of Yin Yang, they could never pass the ward because of their identities as dark magic creatures,

‘What happened?’ Bai Hao was stunned first, and then he laid his eyes on Jiang Sheng.

‘Is it because he has something to do with the Jiang Family?

What’s the secret behind this Jiang Family? Why can they pass the ward?’

“Invaders incoming!’

Through the ward, Jiang Sheng, along with the rest of them had landed right on to the prime administrator’s yard. All the guards inside rushed out in no time and surrounded them with their spears pointing right at them.

Xi Que was the first to react; she formed the katana in her hand and stood in front of Jiang Sheng to protect him. Her eyebrows were deeply furrowed together.

“Oh shit! Who are these guys?”

Jiang Sheng was petrified because he saw all these guards were floating in midair with clouds under them and their feet could not be seen.

“These are Shikigamis. They are the guardians of the sorcerer of Yin Yang.”

Xi Que explained as she slit her finger across the blade, wrote down the Chinese letter of “freeze” with her blood dripping finger and then cast the letter on Shikigamis’ body. They have then frozen right away.

“I’ll be walking at the front. Please protect Mrs. Pei.” Xi Que flashed to the Shikigamis after she finished bidding Bai Hao. With slashes of her sword, she had eliminated some of the Shikigamis and was pushing all the way forward.

Bai Hao was rather shocked upon seeing what happened, because the katana Xi Que was using was called a “magic weapon”, a type of weapon formed by the magic power of the exorcists themselves.

This type of weapon didn’t have a set form; it could change its form based on the user’s imagination to fight.

‘How can she use the weapon of the exorcists? That’s something that must be formed by pure magic power! As Majins, we only have our own dark magic power. How can she even do that?’

“Oh, sh*t! That’s so sick! Xi Que just slaughtered her way in and no one was left alive!”

Jiang Sheng exclaimed in admiration as he kept walking forward.

But shortly after, the vines of the equinox flowers behind crawled by him in a blink of an eye and went right towards Xi Que. It only took them a few seconds to wrap her whole body up and hang her in midair, paralyzed.

“Well, well, well, look who’s here? It’s the granddaughter of the old bastard Xu.”

The voice of the prime administrator echoed and it sounded like there was a touch of pleasantness in her voice.

Xi Que was outrageous for being wrapped up like that; she struggled as hard as she could. But the harder she struggled, the tighter the vines wrapped her.

“You can’t get rid of it, at least not with the power you have now. Save your energy.”

Then, she called in a higher volume, “Come on in, the youngest son of the Jiang Family. I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

“Waiting for me?”

Jiang Sheng looked confused as he looked up at Bai Hao.

“Then let’s see what this prime administrator really wants to do.”

With a single flash, he had already brought Jiang Sheng into the hall of the villa.

The magic fish was therefore left behind; it followed them up while mumbling some curses in its mouth.

“Pei Siyan, are you okay?”

Jiang Sheng jumped off from Bai Hao’s arms and ran toward Pei Siyan immediately. He even patted him on the back and comforted himself, “So good to see you being unharmed.”

Seeing that Jiang Sheng was safe, Pei Siyan also let out a sigh of relief and held him tightly in his arms while readjusting his breath.

“What… what happened?”

Jiang Sheng was acting cautiously, so his voice became lower and softer.

“I’m just glad to see you are fine. So glad.”

Pei Siyan had been worried all the time and he finally felt at ease when he saw Jiang Sheng was safe and sound.
