‘What is this goddamn human doing?’

Bai Haotian frowned immediately. Just as he was about to send Mo Xiaofan flying out of here, one of the maids sensed his anger in time and broke into their conversation. She then said to Mo Xiaofan, “Your duty is to take care of our young master’s daily routines. We’ll handle the rest of it.”

“Understood.”

Mo Xiaofan nodded at the maid politely and waited for her further instruction.

‘Do all human have such good manners?’ The maid was a bit confused for she didn’t really have many contacts with humans before and she didn’t really know about them.

“Have you brought all of your luggage? I’ll take you to your room now if you do so.”

“Yes, I’ve brought all of my things with me.”

Mo Xiaofan ran right back to the couch and held his luggage in his hands.

‘This place is awesome! They offer me three thousand yuan a month, meals and accommodation included!’

Mo Xiaofan was still exclaiming at the fantastic offer in mind, but what he didn’t know was that Bai Haotian was capable of reading others’ minds, and he was watching him indifferently.

‘Three thousand yuan? That’s pathetic! Even the maids here can make more than ten thousand yuan per month.

Where did my dad find a human so dumb like this?’

“Oh, by the way! I can only take care of our young master when I get off from school. Is that okay?”

“Our master have told us about that. No problem at all. All you have to do is to keep our young master company and take good care of him.”

‘Aren’t they just trying to find someone to accompany this young master? Is it because his parents are too busy to spend time with him?’

Mo Xiaofan laid his eyes on Bai Haotian with a touch of sympathy.

“Take your sympathy back, or else get the f**k out of here.”

Bai Haotian went outrageous all of a sudden. He was capable of mind reading and that was also why he was so grumpy. People would have no privacy at all when they were in front of him.

The good news was that ability didn’t work the whole time, otherwise he would have gone crazy already.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. I’m also a left-behind child myself. That’s why I couldn’t help feeling for you. I’m sorry that I just made you unhappy.”

Mo Xiaofan explained immediately as his face went pale. He couldn’t afford to lose this job, or else he could no longer afford the tuition anymore.

“What’s a left-behind child?” Bai Haotian asked the maid, puzzled.

“My young master, that means children who grow up without their parents’ accompany.”

Bai Haotian was stunned for a second when he heard that answer, and then his look became desolated.

‘I see! So he also grows up without his parents’ accompany.’

“Keep him! And you, move his luggage to his room first and then tell him to make some food for me.”

Bai Haotian walked to the couch, sat down and ordered the maid. Then he took out his laptop and started his game with the stocks.

“Will do, my young master.”

The maid took the order and led Mo Xiaofan to the kitchen so that he could cook lunch for Bai Haotian.

A short while later, the scent of food came out from the kitchen, which made Bai Haotian felt hungry somehow.

Because he was always having western food as usual, so the smell was completely new to him.

Bai Haotian jumped off from the couch and somehow walked toward the kitchen.

“What are you doing?” Bai Haotian asked.

“Stir-frying! Weren’t you demanding for lunch just then?”

This time, it was Mo Xiaofan’s turn to be confused. He looked down at Bai Haotian as if he was dealing with the most unbelievable question in the world.

“Stir-frying? What is that?”

‘What? He doesn’t even know what’s stir-frying?’

“Eh… a magical Chinese way of making food delicious.”

Mo Xiaofan didn’t know how to explain that to Bai Haotian, so that was the best answer he could come up with.

But the answer he said only earned a contemptuous look from Bai Haotian, ‘Is that even an answer? He is dumb indeed.’

“Here, have a taste of it.”

Mo Xiaofan picked a slice of meat up, blew on it to cool it down and handed it over to Bai Haotian, “Young master, say ‘ah~’”

‘Ah?’

Bai Haotian was clearly looking unhappy for being treated like a kid.

But due to two hundred years of isolation, he didn’t really know much about anything. He was totally a kid inside.

Plus, two hundred years old for Majins was equal to the age of high school students for humans. He couldn’t really be considered as old.

“It’s good, my young master. You can trust me.”

Bai Haotian pouted his mouth but still took it over reluctantly.

It tasted completely new in Bai Hao’s mouth. That was a flavor that he had never had before. Though it was salty and oily, it tasted a hundred times better than all the steak he had had before.

“It’s good, right? I knew it!”

Mo Xiaofan smiled. His smile was so pure, and when he smiled, his eyes curved into the shape of a crescent moon which healed a corner of Bai Haotian’s heart immediately.

‘Dad knows it all! He must have lured him here on purpose!’

Even though Bai Haotian was a bit reluctant, he still accepted him without saying anything.

In the meantime, outside of the door of Bai Haotian’s residence. The maid asked Hei Ming, “My master, is it really wise to find a human to keep the young master company?”

“It’s true that human are very fragile, but they are best at dealing with interpersonal relationship. That’s what Haotian is lacking.

If he wants to survive in the Pei Family in the future, he should learn more about that. It’s time for him to learn how to protect people who are important to him and how to be strong for the one he loves.

He’s no longer a kid anymore. I should give him a push from behind to help him grow up.”

Hei Ming puffed a breath of smoke to the air with a grave look.

“Are you… are you trying to make the young master fall in love with this human?” The maid was petrified.

“Who knows? Just let the nature take its course!”

Hei Ming smiled, and then he left with the smokes behind him without making further explanations.
