Chapter 19 - Third gym Badge

Sam tried to find the gym on the island but he failed miserably. After a while Sam remembered that the gym was near the volcano so he kept searching for it.

Sam finally found the gym after a search of two hours. He then went inside and saw a old man standing in the place of gym leader. It was Blaine, the gym leader of Cinnabar gym, a fire type gym.

"Welcome young man, presumably you have come here for a gym battle so I will not talk nonsense." Blaine said.

The refree on the side walked to his position and said, "The rules of the match are that both the gym leader and challenger can use two pokemons. During the match, the challenger can replace his pokemon while gym leader can't. The one whose both pokemons fainted first will lose."

Seeing that the gym leader is already ready, Sam also went to the challenger's position. Upon seeing that Sam had reached in place, Blaine threw a pokeball and Ninetails came out of it.

"My first pokemon is Ninetails , what about you, young man?" Blaine asked.

'System, show stats of Ninetails'

Moves - Tail Whip , Ember , Flame Chage , Hypnosis , Disable , Quick Attack , Spite , Incinerate , Confuse ray , Extrasensory , Dig

Sam also threw a pokeball and Draceon came out out.

"Wow, a pokemon never seen before." Blaine exclaimed after seeing Draceon.

Before coming here, Sam specially let Draceon learn two water type moves to faciliate the battle.

Moves - Tackle , Tail Whip , Covet , Double Kick , Sand Attack , Quick Attack , Baby Doll Eyes , Swift , Charm , Dragon Claw , Dragon Breath , Water Pulse , Brine

"Draceon use Water Pulse."

"Ninetails, dodge and use Embers."

Ninetails dodged the incoming Water Pulse and spit out sparks towards Draceon from its mouth.

"Draceon, dodge and then use Baby Doll Eyes."

Draceon did as Sam said and Ninetails attack dropped. "Draceon, now use Dragon Pulse." The Dragon Pulse hit the Ninetails and caused it damage.

"Ninetails, use Extrasensory." Blaine counterattacked." "Draceon, use Swift."

Both Extrasensory and Swift collided midair and caused a small explosion.

"Draceon, use Charm, go near Ninetails and then use Dragon Claw." Even without smaoke settling down, Sam gave next orders to Draceon. Draceon followed Sam's order and landed a perfect Dragon Claw on Ninetails head.

"Ninetails, Dig." Blaine tried to hide by heading underground but it was what Sam wants. "Draceon, go hear the hole and use Brine." Draceon threw a large amount of water toeards the hole and flooded the hole.

After a while Ninetails came out of the hole but it fainted as soon it came out. Blaine took back Ninetails in pokeball and said to Sam, "It was a good battle."

Next Blaine sent out a Magmar in the field. Draceon was tired from battling just now so Sam took it back and sent Charmeleon to the field.

Both Blaine and Sam gave the same order at the beginning of the battle.

"Magmar use Thunder Punch"

"Charmeleon we also use Thunder Punch" Both Magmar and Charmeleon ran towards each other with their fist crackling and both of them fisted at each other at the same time.

"Fire Punch"×2

Blaine sensed something wrong but it was too late and Magmar was hit by the Dragon Breadth at zero distance and got fainted.

Refree announced the result upon seeing this, "Magmar is unable to battle. Challenger wins the battle."

Blaine came to congratulate Sam and gave him the Volcano badge. Sam kept the Volcano badge in badge case and left the gym.
