Chapter 18 - Cinnabar Island And Pokemon Mansion

After three days of ship journey, Sam reached the Cinnabar Island on the forth day. Upon reaching the island, Sam first decided to catch all the available water pokemons that can be caught on the shore.

Then from the morning to afternoon he caught Psyduck , Slowpoke , Seel , Krabby and Lapras. Next he went to the pokemon center to restore his pokemons.

After that he went to the fossil resurrection center and gave them 6 of each of Helix fossil , Dome fossil and Claw fossil. He also gave them the shiny Dome fossil.

The scientists at the center said that it would take two days for all of the fossils to resurrect. So Sam planned to visit the pokemon mansion on the next day and challenge Cinnabar gym on day after tomorrow.

Sam went back to the pokemon center and rent a room to stay. He sorted out the things in Small world till evening and then went to dinner. After dinner Sam came back to the room and fell asleep.

Next day Sam woke up early and went in the direction of pokemon mansion. Pokemon mansion is the abandoned secret base of Team rocket where they studied about Mewtwo.

Sam wants to see if the cloning machines there are still working or not and how much data is left in the mansion.

Sam reaches the pokemon mansion and started his search. He first found a working computer and copied all the data present in ut to the system. Upon inspection he found that the data is preserved but it is incomplete in several places.

He then salvaged the whole mansion till evening and got a lot of working parts from the broken machines. He is only missing a few parts and then he can make the machine on his own.

When Sam came out of the mansion, the day has already ended so he returned to the pokemon center.

After dinner Sam went to the market to find the missing parts required to make the cloning machine. He only got a few parts in the market so he decided to visit the black market.

Sam disguised himself and went to the black market and finally obtained all the parts required to make the machine.

Sam returned to the pokemon center and went to sleep. Next morning, Sam ate breakfast and worked on the cloning machine. He wants to see if he can also create Mewtwo. Even if it failed it would still benifit him as he can just clone rare pokemons saving him time to search for them.

He worked the whole morning and afternoon and finally completed the machine with the help of system. Sam decided to test the machine so he chose a Caterpie to clone. The timer on the machine showed that it would require 3 hours to finish cloning so he left the pokemon center and went to find the gym.
