Those two names were part of Xu Jiaqi's memory. Zhao Xinran was the daughter of the Zhao family, which used to be quite the close acquaintance for the Xu couple. Meanwhile, Song Ziyi was her boyfriend, and the one who openly disliked Xu Jiaqi's existence hovering over them.

Even though the one to reach out for help was not Xu Jiaqi, but the mother of the person he liked.

The other members of the Zhao family, Zhao Dinghao and Zhao Shiqi, were respectively the father and mother of Zhao Xinran. Indeed, in the past, they had been quite close to the Xu family. However, was it really that simple?

[Yes, ah. Host, you shouldn't trust them! I looked over the general plot, and saw that this Zhao Xinran is actually just acting so she could get recognition and pity.. Also, she sabotaged you a couple times in the past!] The System protested.

'I know, System. I'm not that blind. I can tell that.. this little girl is just playing to be a good person. Does she think she is slick?' Xu Jiaqi chided.

However, if one knew Xu Jiaqi well, then they would know to avoid messing around with her, or involving her in this sort of play. She was someone who was well-versed in the arts of making people suffer, how would a simple couple like this obstruct her way if she set out to do whatever she wants?

Xu Jiaqi: Bring it on, give me everything you've got. This lady will play with you.

System: I worry for whoever offends her..

'System, it should be time for you to investigate this world again. Do you have any qualms?' Just like always, Xu Jiaqi planned to send the System on a little trip to help her find substantial information.

[Of course not, Host! With my newly updated privileges, I will be able to assist you much further! Please entrust me with the task. I will bring forth satisfying results!] The System boasted, feeling powerful after being granted the special rewards.

'Then, that's that relief. I will be counting on you. Though, the mission is already out, right? Show it to me.' Xu Jiaqi said.

[Yes, Host. Please wait for a couple seconds.. There you go.] The System pulled out a notification window in front of Xu Jiaqi and let her see the missions that she had to accomplish.

Like always, there were two quests. However, the side quest was blurred out and filled with question marks like it was in the first world.

[Main Quest: Bring Back Golden Star's Light of Brilliance.

Return the path of glory that belonged to Xu Jiaqi's talents, and the mission shall be cleared.]

Regaining one's glory. Xu Jiaqi's situation was tough to deal with, but it wasn't impossible. She was confident that she could do it if she was just given an appropriate amount of time and preparation.

As for the second mission, according to her experience, it should pop out as she goes through her days in life. There was no rush in trying to force herself to figure out what it was. 

'..It's acceptable. Gaining the public's love is relatively easy, especially if I already have a pitiful background. It's the perfect crowd stealer... Although, I'm wondering if I changed my attitude so fast, would I be caught?'

[About that... Yes, Host. Unfortunately, this world we are in is quite the high-leveled one, and trying to make an immediate change would garner the attention of the world's fate.. Which won't be good for us.]

'I guessed so.' Xu Jiaqi smirked, being intrigued by the new challenge.

Xu Jiaqi's existence practically disappeared from the world the moment she fell deep into the murky hole of misfortune and hid herself away, shielding her fragile spirit from everyone else.

To come back from this.. A way for her to communicate with the public without showing herself, and yet still gaining love was needed.

[What should we do, Host..?] The System was worried. He was confident in his Host's ability to prevail, but this would be the first time she got engaged directly in the world of music. Would she even be able to play as good as the late Xu Jiaqi?

Of course, the System had made a massive mistake by doubting Xu Jiaqi. At this rate, what could she not do? Although she had only lived in four worlds, this being her fifth, she never stopped learning about new things in those realms.

She wouldn't be a supreme musician, but she was way above the average standards. Added to the original body's talents, it shouldn't be hard to replicate the original abilities, if not surpass it even more.

'For now, we will have to detach ourselves from the Zhao family. I seem to recall that.. the Xu family had quite a large sum of money, but looking at the hospital that I am in right now, it seems quite shabby.'

This fact caught Xu Jiaqi's suspicion. Added on to the fact that Zhao Xinran was much likely a white lotus who pretended to like her..

[Right, Host. This also drew my attention. Do you think there is some foul play.. Not only in Zhao Xinran, but the entire Zhao family??]

'Like I said, I'm only blindly guessing. If that's the case, then there's more for us to do. It might add to our mission's completion as well, you know? This could be a lucky stroke depending on how we approach it..' Xu Jiaqi chuckled.
