She contemplated for a moment. All the signs pointed to Zenith, who was able to wield Aura to be connected to her in some way. Her incomplete self. Forgotten memories. Cryptic dreams.

It was all a large puzzle that Xu Jiaqi wasn't able to solve. She didn't even know where to look for the puzzle pieces. Everything had been toppled over, and she had to scramble to look for any potential clues.

Anything that could solve this maddening curiosity and confusion of hers.

There must be an ending to all of this. A way that would clear everything up.

Just one thing was sure. When Zenith spoke to her like that, it was as if an undying flame had been rekindled inside her heart. She held an intense longing to reach out for the man when he used his Aura. The calming energy that.. made her feel comfortable.

Who on Earth was Zenith? He was such a mysterious presence. Someone who she couldn't reach right now.

"Zenith using his Aura like that, was it necessary? Wouldn't we have just died there and returned here?" Xu Jiaqi asked. She wondered if the man's gallant display was actually a futile thing.

[Since you helped her a lot, the Goddess actually received a promotion. The people's faith in her was extremely stable and powerful, and it made her much stronger than what she originally was. When she attacked you for the last time, she used her full power. If it was a direct hit, and Zenith's Aura wasn't protecting you.. Your soul wouldn't have been able to live on. It would've been ripped to shreds, or be left in critical condition. The Goddess was extremely serious when she said that she was going to eliminate you. She is an outcast in the first place, someone who wasn't accepted by the Heavenly Realms. She wouldn't fear the Absolute Being.]

"So, Zenith's Aura is stronger than that Goddess? That was her world, and he was able to let me live on. He must be.. very powerful, hm?" Xu Jiaqi mused. "Also.. this Absolute Being you are speaking about is... a Ruler of higher beings? Or something of that kind?"

[I can't say anything about his identity, or what the outcome is. It is all still being reviewed by the Main System that governs over the universes. However, please rest assured, Host. This kind of act, if reported to the authorities, will not be left alone. The Goddess had wronged a key part of the universe's rule. As for the Absolute Being.. He is the one who created the Main System. The one who created the universes. The deities. Everything came from him.]

"That rule.. is it related to endangering a transmigrator?" Xu Jiaqi's interest was piqued.

[Yes. Essentially, transmigrators could be considered as agents that saves worlds. Although it all depends on each agent, if it is someone like you, who takes things to the maximum profitable level possible, they will be protected under this law. Law is equal to all beings, and so is the punishment and rewards. What Goddess Eula had done was equal to not only threatening your wellbeing, but the entire world. "Hmm.. So in a sense, there is a hierarchy that revolves around the universes... A series of fates that applies on those universes, and a power that works to unify them all. The Absolute Being with the most powerful Aura?" Xu Jiaqi concluded everything from what she had heard and theorized.

[..It is a complex System that you will be able to find out more about in the future. You just have to increase your authority and upgrade me along with it. All of it will be accomplished through completing worlds.]

"Haah. I understand. How many days of vacation do I have? Surely, quite many?" Xu Jiaqi ruffled her hair slightly.

[Actually, the Main System is willing to give you months of holidays. Your incident is being reviewed, and if you go to the next world right now, you might disrupt the calculations and screw yourself over. So.. It is actually better if you stay here for the time being. Your soul is also still quite unstable, although the brunt of the Goddess' force was taken up by Zenith. I might be absent for a few while to sort things out. In this mean time, please rest a lot, Host.] The System advised.

"..I guess so. One more question, then..." Xu Jiaqi's gaze grew tender as she gazed upon the System. "Is Zenith safe? Or.. did he have to pay a hellish price for what he did?" 

[..I am still not able to make sure he is okay, but please be assured. He is someone much higher than you might think. He wouldn't perish just because of a Goddess like Eula, even if he is in his weakened state. He is.. someone who can't die.]

"What about me?"

[What about you, Host?] The System was confused.

"How much do I have to level up my authority in order for me to be able to.. regain my past memories? I know that there is more to my existence. I have.. glimpses of worlds that I have no recollection of going through. In those scenes, I always met a bad end. An overwhelming wave of emotions that I have never come in contact with. Tell me, how am I supposed to cope with all these, if I don't get my answer soon enough?"

Xu Jiaqi knew that she would break sooner or later. No matter how strong her mentality was. The emptiness that resided within her, as a result of not knowing the full truth was suffocating.

She was like a ticking time bomb, waiting to break apart.

[Please.. trust me, Host. I know that I might not sound reliable since I can't tell you much, but everything will be alright.] The System was unable to answer.

He had also learned of Xu Jiaqi's true worth recently. After he found strange occurrences and anomalies, he hurried to look for answers. Just like the current Xu Jiaqi.

And the answers he found were shocking, to say the least.
