191 5.80 Hama no Ya. Kikyo, Kaede and Inuyasha Joins The Elite Team

"Someone is heading this way. It's small and it's not even a human child, and it does look larger than Kirara. I don't see any threat from another one beside it, but we just be ready for it." I reported to the group and Kohaku who was beside me, held on to his kurisagama that he had removed from his obi. Kirara was in its haunches and was growling as it sensed another youkai that was heading in our direction, even though the youkai seems safe.

We watched the scene unfold as one was bawling its eyes out and the other tried to console it in an inappropriate manner at that time!

I had extinguished the fire and made the whole area dark and everyone kept quiet. "It is a child-like youkai approaching and another one too. I don't see any danger from it, Chosen One. Shall I approach them?"

"Hoshi-sama, let them approach us and we could then spring into action. Why were the child-like youkai and that other one doing all alone in this path? I heard he was talking about his father about something."
