190 5.79 Meet Kikyo And Inuyasha in Tokyo. Drastic Change In Storyline

At daybreak, every one was ready for breakfast at the tavern. We had plain steam dumplings and green tea. Hiko-sama reached into the sleeve of his kimono and brought out a bottle of chunky peanut butter and placed it in the table and began to take a chopstick and took out a dollop of it and began to spread the insides of his steam dumpling.

"Eh, Sensei... I thought this was for Hoshi-sama's friends later? How come it's with you? I thought I had packed three."

"Hahaha... This is my private stash. It is better to eat this when the dumpling is still hot. It melts in your mouth. I love the chunky ones, you can practically chew the gritty nuts. Nom ... Nom ... Nom..."

Hoshi-sama had not seen our products or visited our corporation and was abit left in the dark about it. He picked up the bottle and it looked like a drinking mug and saw the imprint at the sides. He was helped by Kohaku who used a chopstick and use it to spread the chunky peanut butter into a steam dumpling and handed it to Hoshi-sama.

"Hmmm... Oishi...!!! I never knew peanut can be used to serve as breakfast fillings...! Who taught of this idea? Normally we would have either red or green beans inside them but never had this ingredient before... And the drinking mug used as a container is innovative...!"

Sango and Kohaku soon took the pinaatsubata and stuffed it into their dumplings. Kirara wanted to have a taste but somehow the dumpling with the pinaatsubata fillings got stuck at the top of its mouth and it became angry for a little while since it began to claw at it to dislodge it.

Kohaku was laughing at Kirara and made it into a ball instead and it ate happily with one gulp. The pinaatsubata made it stuck on top of its mouth cavity and not because of the dumpling. Kirara ate several balls and decided not to have it anymore as it seemed to be full.

We finished our breakfast, paid up and take our mounts ad we headed to the main gates of Tokyo. Even if we had no choice, we would be getting into a bed and breakfast tavern since it was costlier than the neighbouring cities or settlements.

We ride for a while and reached Hoshi-sama's destination and he soon dismounted and went ahead to look for his friends. We too dismounted and let the horses graze among the fields. I took two bottles of pinaatsubata and when Hoshi-sama's friends came, they pointed to the place where the Bone Eater's Well was near a village with a lot of willow trees and rice fields.

We thanked Hoshi-sama's friends and handed 2 of the pinaatsubata bottles and Hoshi-sama explained that these are best eaten with dumplings for breakfast or tea. They thanked us and mounted our horses and head towards our final destination.

We had reached a village, not so remote but we could see not many residents milling around. Maybe they were busy tending to their farms or their other daily tasks. We rode slowly until we reached a small hut where a small girl was examining some leaves and roots in her possession and mashing it up with a molar and pestle.

"Hmm, this little girl is kinda familiar... Maybe I should ask about a Miko here." I thought to myself and dismounted.

"Hmm... Excuse me, little girl, may I know if there's a Miko in this village?"

"A Miko like my Oneesama? Oh... She would be returning soon, she had gone to treat someone. I am here making the herbs, you see..."

Kikyo existed in the 15th Century during the Sengoku Jidai and we are in the 19th Century. Just a minor twist to make things surreal.

I looked at her and I knew her name was Kaede, the younger sister of Kikyo. So it seems that that damn Naraku had not entered this series yet...Hmm, so it means that Inuyasha would be around and Kagome Higurashi would not even exist in this series. Too bad for a female protagonist in an anime though.

"Hello there, do you need any help?" I heard a female voice from beyond. "Omeesama, these people are here to see you." said little Kaede. "Oh hello Miko-sama, my name is Himura and this is Hiko-sama, Hoshi-sama, Sango-Chan, Kohaku and Kiara. We came from Kitakata Village in Fukushima and wished to have an attendance with you and your friend."

I spoke with clenched teeth and I gripped my fists so hard that my knuckles turned white. Hiko-sama saw me and places a gentle hand in my shoulder to calm me.

"If you wish to meet my friend, let's head over to the stream at the end of the village. I will call him over. And by the way, I'm still wondering how you would know about my friend who tried to steal the Shikon No Tama.".

I pleaded with Kikyo while Sango and Kohaku got ready to assist Kikyo to retrieve the Shikon No Tama.

But do you know that there is someone evil that wants it too? It is being purified, but later on, if it was being handled by a bad youkai, the Shikon No Tama would become black?"

"Inuyasha, you hadn't had the seal around your neck and also the sword that was forged with one of your father's fang. The place that you seek is right before you, I can't tell it to you because you would definitely want to go and get it. But once you enter to get it, your brother too would be coming in and wanting the same thing as you wanted."

"Damn it Inuyasha, open up your mind and don't act like a kid. Just think of your mother that had sent us to you so that you and Kikyo would have a better life than right now. Being a hanyou is better than being a full youkai. Does your mother wants you to be a full youkai?"

"We have to decide right now, for the sake of Shikon no Tama and also your safety. Believe me, the Shikon no Tama is safe and now placed on an altar in my secret place and the only person that can retrieve it would be me."

I carefully explained to them and wanted them to move to Kitakata, along with Kaede, the younger sister of Kikyo so that she would be of the future help to the residents in Kitakata. Both Kikyo and Inuyasha would be able to join Sango and the rest of Youkai Taijiya to help exterminate the demons that would be lurking around and harassing the villagers.

I explained that the original Youkai Taijiya Village had moved to the outskirts of Kitakata Village and we welcome them to be part of the big family. Soon it was tea break time and we went to the local district to buy some dumplings and tea. Inuyasha was pouting all the way and his body language shows that he isn't too happy to move and the decisions to move were made by a young kid.
