232 THE TRANSACTION

The distance was very far and Senja wasn't used to sitting too long on a horse. So, after a few hours her legs grew sore as she moved uncomfortably.

"Don't move, you will fall." Xiao Tianyao warned her.

"Is it still very far?" Senja whined. They had been in and out 5 villages so far, perhaps for Xiao Tianyao who has lived his life by riding horse everyday and every night it wasn't a challenge. But, for Senja who just learned it recently, it simply unbearable.

"Close. Hold on for a while." That was what Xiao Tianyao had been saying to Senja since hours ago. Senja sighed, she didn't want to act spoil now. But, she couldn't ignore the pain too.

"Chicken katsu, Chicken soup, cheese cake, egg rolls, vanilla ice cream." Senja was chanting all her favorite food in order to distract her attention from her numbing leg. "Chicken… Fried Chicken… Chicken again… Chicken…"

Xiao Tianyao chuckled when he heard Senja mumbled muddle headedly, he held her by her waist to make the girl stop moving.

The sun was almost set and the shadow from darkness was starting to envelop their small group.

Finally when Senja couldn't feel her legs anymore, Xiao Tianyao raised his hand to make their entourage stop.

They were on the hill and below them were the paths that were being passed by 5 freight metal carriage pulled by a dozen of horses. On the right and left were many people with dark green clothes and mask on their faces while some of them were wearing red clothes without mask.

Their number was far bigger than Xiao Tianyao entourage.

"There are around 50 people." Senja looked up at Xiao Tianyao with anxious.

"Don't worry." Xiao Tianyao patted Senja head without even thinking, like it was natural for him to do so, afterwards he dismounted from the horse and helped Senja down by holding her waist again.

"How I can't worry? I don't know swordsmanship! Once the fight broke, I will be an easy prey." Senja burst out in low voice.

I wonder, are my four limbs still intact the moment I meet Yun?

Senja dress didn't help at all. But, the most concerned of Xiao Tianyao was still her hair. "Cover your hair." He rearranged and draped the grey cloak on Senja head.

"I don't mind to get my hair cut off, as long as it isn't my neck." Senja replied sullenly.

"No one will cut your neck or your hair." Xiao Tianyao smiled at her dazzlingly. He looked in good mood somehow.

Senja kept glancing to the huge amount of people on the paths below the hill. Looking at them, she still couldn't rest assured by Xiao Tianyao's words.

"What are you going to do?" Senja whispered at him.

"Keep watching." Xiao Tianyao replied and held Senja waist to guide her hiding behind a big rock. The 8 Crescent Moon Member, Yang Yu and Feng Chang did the same while 2 of the Members gathered their horses and led them to the place afar.

Xiao Tianyao glanced briefly at Feng Chang. Although, he put on calm face, but his eyes were shining in killing intent, he brushed the sword that hung on his waist many times. Yang Yu also noticed Feng Chang subtly movement as he stay more alert to anticipate his sudden moved.

Senja who was wrapped under the grey cloak and trapped in Xiao Tianyao's embraced, almost couldn't be seen. She peeped out her head to see what was going on down there, but Xiao Tianyao simply held her head and pushed her back onto his chest.

"What is happening down there?" Senja whispered in frustration, because she wasn't allowed to see it.

"The transaction happening." Xiao Tianyao kindly answered her question.
