Chapter 56 - I Like Them Feisty

He didn't know that ever since he stepped foot out of the mansion he had been followed by a highly-skilled group of individuals associated with Wu Yinyou. Now that he was vulnerable surrounds by the crowd, it was easy for them to drug him with a prick on his skin. With absolutely no warning, Rong Zian suddenly felt heavy as though his limbs no longer belonged to him. Two strangers grasped his arms either side and dragged him into a dark alley.

His mind fuzzy, Rong Zian remembered seeing a woman dressed in a crimson dress with an ominous grin on her face before everything went black.

Right at Tebie's doorstep was a vast mountain range often frequented by locals as hunting grounds but because of its size, a huge section was unchartered. In those unexplored areas, where the vast majority of underground caverns left untouched for thousands of years. But today, one of them housed a band of villains holding an unconscious Rong Zian hostage.

It was obvious why Wu Yinyou had picked this location, no one would ever find them here. It was a camouflaged by a sea of tall trees with only one heavily guarded entrance. She was certain that no one would find them unless if she wanted them to, thus explaining her arrogance. Wu Yinyou patiently waited for him to wake up, seeming proud of her work while seated looking up at him as she had all his limbs in chains strung up mid-air.

Rong Zian finally showed signs of regaining consciousness as his eyes fluttered but he couldn't move even his pinkie finger. Panic-stricken, he hastily opened his eyes and tried to deduce what type of situation he was currently in. The last thing he remembered was following Wu Yange and then a girl in a red dress. Fraught with danger, he felt his entire body being taken over by a force within him but it didn't last as his glowing eyes dimmed and went back to normal.

His other persona couldn't hold on and was instantly suppressed but that didn't deter him. His power reactivated but he failed once more, whatever they had used to knock him out was strong enough restrain him. 'Shit! I am fucked,' he thought trying to make out where he was. It is only at this moment that he finally noticed the girl gazing at him in amusement. She stood up letting out an eerie laugh before saying, "Fascinating," referring to the drama she had just witnessed.

Throwing courtesy out of the window, Rong Zian went all out with the language, "Who the fuck are you?" He normally wouldn't insult a lady but this kinky shit was not for him hence breaking his rule of gender-biased vulgarity.

Again, she laughed seeming so proud of herself, "Was that an insult?" she said lifting herself up to his line of sight, "That's okay, I like them feisty," hovering above the ground. She reached out and grazed his face like a little psycho calming her prey before killing them.

"We have met before and it really hurts my feelings that you don't remember me. The last time we met you strangled me, I must say I found that very erotic and I wanted to play some more," she said feeling wronged.

'The fuck, I would remember if I strangled someone,' he thought before he had a moment of realisation. It must have been his other persona. 'Oh shit! I need fuckin' merge after this otherwise l will keep offending people.'

"Well, I sure hope we can come to a peaceful resolution because it was obviously in self-defence, right?" he said trying to reason with a psychopath.

"It was indeed self-defence but you have something I desperately need. All you have to do is give it to me and I will let you go," she said twirling her loose strand of hair on her index finger in a flirtatious way.

Rong Zian couldn't help but find this funny, they all want the fragment on his body when he himself doesn't know how to take it out. 'I fuckin' ate it, okay,' he thought nervously laughing, it seems he might end up being dissected like a frog in biology class just for that fragment.

"I am glad you find this funny because I am about to up the stakes," she said with a smug smile when a bottle appeared out of thin air. "My father is amazing, he saw it fit to gift me with poison forged by King Yan within Xiangliu. This priceless treasure is now coursing through your veins, a treasure that can subdue a god. It will eventually kill you unless I hand you this antidote," she said as the bottle rotated hovering above the palm of her hand.

"Even if I could, I can't give it to you so do as you wish," he said feeling defeated. This was his bottom line especially after witnessing what Wu Wúqíng was capable of. Even if he dies at least he had experienced love and maybe his soul can spend all eternity irritating the goddess Guang aka his mother to death. That thought made him chuckle out loud, pissing off Wu Yinyou.

Enraged, she flung the bottle into the cavern lake and watched it as it sank into the bottomless pool. "See what you made me do!" she screamed slapping him hard across his face.

"It's unfortunate you are going to die but you can be of use. If you are not going to tell me where the fragment is, at least I can go back to my father with something as powerful. Since you are the spawn of the goddess herself then our product would be as powerful, what do you think?" she shamelessly suggested while tracing his chest with her fingertip.

'Oh shit! Bitch be crazy!' screamed Rong Zian now struggling, 'I am not planning on having a psycho baby, fuck!'

Witnessing the obvious distress on Rong Zian's face, she was extremely satisfied. "I see why my cousin kept you around, you are so cute. I just want to eat you up. No need to panic, I will be gentle," she said placing her lips on his neck before ruthlessly nibbling on it leaving a purple hickey.

That was Rong Zian's final straw, he was enraged by her actions as his power struggled to reactivate. The immense pressure building up from his other persona fighting led to the inevitable. Rong Zian passed out cold deterring Wu Yinyou. "Well that sucks," she said poking his cheek repeatedly, "I can't do it now when he's knocked out. Huh, I will wait till he wakes up. He can't remain unconscious forever."

But she soon realised how much she had underestimated Rong Zian, the man was like a stiff corpse but was clearly still breathing, refusing to wake up no matter how many cuts she made on his body.
