Chapter 108 - 4 - The Battle Chief!

Not much time was wasted they had arrived at Ash's house, and Rico then parted ways with Isaiah and Catherine, before turning left and left towards his own house. And as Rico is about to reach for the front door knob, Ash and Pikachu suddenly appeared behind them, greeting them like, "Hi, Rico, good afternoon." Upon hearing them, Rico turned around and responded back, "Oh, Ash, hi." Then in a suspicious state, "Wait a minute, where have you been all day? I haven't seen you since this morning."

"You'll find out tomorrow," Ash brightly replied back. Sighing in defeat, Rico replied, "Alright, fine." He then turned back and opened the door, entering the house. It was a beautiful afternoon scenery, with a few clouds scattered around the sky, Pokémon birds flying across the scene, and the town's in harmony.

Inside the living room, Rico greeted his mother and older brother by saying, "I'm home."

"Rico! You're home," Jonathan replied back upon seeing him while watching TV.

"How's your first day at school?" Rosario added a question brightly while wiping the kitchen counters with a damp cloth.

"Really awesome," Rico positively responded back, "we had battles this morning, and then normal classes after lunch, a little recess time, and another set of battles this afternoon. I really loved that school. Thanks for choosing that school for me."

"Yeah, you're welcome," replied his mother back in positive, "me and your father chose the best school you could attend, and in the same time, having fun with them" After hearing her words, Rico head straight upstairs to his bedroom.

At his bedroom, Rico put his shoulder bag aside and opened the curtains and windows to let in fresh air so he could breath in. He then lay down on his bed in exhaustion, and took off his bȧrėly-stained socks and shoes.

"Oh, that's your day?" Lucas commented as he readjust his glasses a bit. Rico then happily nodded to say yes, and responded back, "Yes, dad, it was really fun. And I won a battle against a strong Pokémon Trainer. I was really lucky though."

"Wow, that was good and great," replied his father back while sipping on his glass of water. "I was really happy that you have fun and enjoy your day." Rico then smiled in happiness. Their Pokémon are busy eating their special food.

The next morning, after the morning routine before school, Rico and his team meet up with Isaiah and Catherine at the battle hall to see the new Battle Chief announced by Ronaldo, along with other students with them. It was a cloudy morning, but rain is not the sign.

"I can't wait who's the Battle Chief!" Isaiah commented in excited expectation.

"Yeah," replied Rico, "Professor Ronaldo said that this person will help us train our Pokémon."

"I think that Battle Chief will be so cool," Catherine responded in liking it. Then, suddenly, as the other students talked to each other, Campillo showed up and catch their attention quickly, like a man catching a flight quickly.

"Good morning, everyone," he greeted them first. The students then greeted him back with respect.

"Everyone, are you ready to meet the Battle Chief?" Ronaldo asked them with excited expectation. The students then responded back, "Yes!" Ronaldo then repeated his question again, so as the students to say yes loudly.

"Alright then, say hello to the Battle Chief!" Ronaldo responded with positive reaction.. Then, in what they didn't expected, Ash showed himself to everyone in the hall. This causes the students to be shocked, amazed, stunned, and surprised all together.

"What? Ash?!" Rico commented in extreme shock.

"Big brother?!" Catherine and Isaiah commented in shock as well. It is revealed that Ash is the oldest, while Catherine is in middle, and Isaiah as the youngest. Yes, the Battle Chief is here, because of Ash's great skills.
