"S-so it was His Highness R-Ryden"

"W-what a surprise"

The faces of these Nobles twitches after knowing the identity of the person that the Second Prince brought with him

The crowd that was even gathering around the Prince was cleared almost immediately

These Nobles feared that Ryden would explode and hurt or worst, kill them in the process

As a result, Clyde and Ryden can only act as if they did not know anything. After all, it was a bit embarassing that a man that is usually the center of attention do not have any people around him because of you

Fortunately, Kervy also acts as if he does not know anything and the three had a world of their own

Since this is a wine party, naturally, the drinks that are served were all wine

While Kervy was casual and Ryden was indifferent to the wine being served, Clyde on the other hand wants to pour all the wine into the floor

He still does not forget what happened the two times that he drunk wine in this world

Both of those intances resulted in him being bed by Ryden!

Because of that, Clyde vowed that never in his life would he ever touch alcohol again

However, Ryden's indifference face towards the wine soon changes. He comically stared at the wine in the serves and to his wife that has a slightly dark expression 

It was as of a light bulb was lit up on top of his head and he excitedly grab two glass of wine from the server that passed by them

Since Ryden was not able to eat tofu for days because of this event, it made him feel really dissatisfied and upset

However, if he can use this chance to be intoxicated and had another drunken mistake with Clyde then wouldn't that solve his problem?

As a result, Ryden excitedly gave one of the glass to his wife that shook his head

"I don't want to drink" Clyde said in almost a whisper so that no one would be able to hear him

"Don't be like that, wouldn't it be weird if we are in a winess business and even attended this party yet we don't drink even a single glass?" Ryden reasoned while also wisphering

Times like this made Clyde think that it would be better if his husband was a hundred percent an idiot

If Ryden is like that then he would not be able to think of a logical reason as to why Clyde has to drink

Without a choice, Clyde can only accept the glass of wine while Kervy excused himself for a moment. Leaving only the two in their table and it made quite a strange sight

Although they chose a table that was in the corner with less people, the sight of their table being avoided by the Nobles still looks really weird

It was as if there is a plague present in that area

Although Ryden's reputation helps keep himself and his wife safe, it also became a deterrent factor to making connections 

Fortunately, it did not take thay long before Kerby returned

In his hand was a tray with three glass wines on top

"Brother, brother-in-law, drink these. They are of a much higher quality than the ones they usuallt serve" Kervy said generously and Clyde's face darkened yet again

He just finished drinking a glass yet Kervy was already giving him another one

If Clyde were to refuse then wouldn't that not make him impolite?

Moments like this made Clyde wonder why he was infatuated with Kervy's appearance before. This man is clearly annoying!

However, contrary to Clyde's gloomy mood as he accepts the glass, Ryden was overjoyed

His impression on Kervy became a bit better

Ryden was already about to knock his brains thinking of an excuse to make his wife drink more wine when Kervy helped him without him asking for help

Because of such a 'good help', how can Ryden's impression to this brother of his not improve

"Hmm, this was tasty, but I believe, brother-in-law's wine still tastes better" Kervy said as a polite compliment yet he was also telling the truth

While the three were chatting on their own, they suddenly heard a cheerful voice behind them

"Brother!" The voice said and when the three look at the source, they saw a certain omega walking quite fast towards them

This omega has green hair and eyes and is also quite good looking. No doubt that many alphas would want him as their wife

However, compared to Clyde, this omega is still a few levels lower

In fact, if not for Clyde being married to the fearsome Prince that can explode any moment, many would surely want to have him though most only want him to be their plaything 

Seeing who was coming, Clyde's eyes darkened. This omega is someone he was very familiar with

In fact, they have a great connection with each other as they are half-siblings

It was the legitimate omega of the Duke of Rothland! The only omega that received his love, care, affection, and pampering

With Clyde and Jermaine's identity, people might think that the latter was calling the former

However, that was not the case at all. Jermaine's eyes were completely focused on the Second Prince, even calling him brother affectionately

"Young Master Jermaine" Kervy greeted back politely contrary to how over enthusiastic Jermaine was

These two would also soon become brother in law as Jermaine is to be wed to the 1st Prince

However, Kervy's appearance was much better than the 1st Prince's appearance 

As such, although Jermaine wants to be the Empress more, he also wants to have the second Prince at the top of his palm

He tried charming the Second Prince but as you can see, Kervy was only treating him politely 

Jermaine was about to hug the Prince like the spoiled brat that he is but Kervy bowed his head a bit as recognition of Jermaine' presence

As such, no matter how thick JermaineMs face was, he couldn't possibly hug the Prince even if he wants to

Out of all the Young Masters in the Empire, only Jermaine would have the guts to act this familiar with the Imperial Princes

Well, not only was he the omega of the most powerful Ducal Household that has a close connection to the Emperor, he would even be wed to the 1st Prince that has the highest chance of being the Crowned Prince and the next Emperor. His status gave him the ability to act his familiar 

"Jermaine, don't run off like that" another voice said and behind Jermaine, an alpha can be seen

This Alpha is also someone that Clyde is familiar with. Just like Jermaine, he and this Alpha are also half siblings

This Alpha is none other than Jerome Rothland, the next Duke of Rothland

Clyde did not expect that he would see them here. After all, after the wedding, he basically don't have any interaction with his family anymore

Clyde is just a pawn in the Duke's eyes and naturally after the wedding, the Duke would not care about him at all

The Duke already received benefits of the wedding, why does he need to bother with his illegitimate child?

"Psh, brother, you are still a nagger!" Jermaine said with a pout. The aura of being spoiled around him was too thick

His eyes only has the Second Prince and as such, it took him quite some time before he notices the two people with the Prince

When Jermaine sees who they were, his eyes flashed in surprise

"What is an illegitimate child like you doing here? Is this even a place you can enter?" Jermaine questioned and Clyde's heart was instantly filled with anger

He wonder why in the past, he acts too weakly. He always crave for familial love from people that would surely not give it to him

Even if he were bullied and hurt by them, he only thinks that as long as he endured, those evil people would also love him

It was too laughable that Clyde has that thinking in the past

Clyde's mask crack from anger and he was about to reply when Ryden beat him to it

"Do you have problem with my wife and to all illegitimate children?" Ryden questioned in a harsh tone and the surroundings turned quiet

At first, Jermaine only noticed Clyde and only now did he realize who the person with his brother was

Turns out that it was actually the 6th Prince that his father warned him to stay as far as possible 

However, if Jermaine were to back down here, it would feel like he lose against the brother that was always below him

And since the 6th Prince is an illegitimate child and the Emperor does not care about him that much, as an omega that was spoiled by the Duke and the Emperor himself, would Jermaine back down that easily?
