Chapter 28 - NOT EDITED YET

Hearing the thing about the kissmarks in his neck, all the hair in Clyde's body stood up

If there was something that he learned about himself the past days was that he has a really sensitive body

Despite not wanting to feel anything every time that they have to reapply the marks, Clyde would still feel feverish during and after the session

It's like millions of tiny sparks exploded inside his body that sucks all the strength that he has

Clyde would even release some moans from time to time and every time that happens, he would die from shame

Originally, Clyde planned on almost not letting the marks fade away before reapplying them

However, because of his overly sensitive body, he would wait to the point that they were almost all gone before he would let Ryden suck his skin again

The marks that Clyde currently has is close to fading completely but since they are still noticeable when people stare at his neck, he is unwilling to accept Ryden's offer

"No, they are still alright. We can wait for a day or two" Clyde refuses but Ryden insisted

"Why wait when we can do it now? Aren't you the one that always said we must be careful? What if people think that our relationship turned cold after seeing that your kissmarks already faded?" Ryden retorted and Clyde shot him a glare

"Ohooo, what a big mouth! You always complain that you are bored doing nothing in our room when you know full well that it was for the sake of our plans! And now, just because I refuse your perverted advances you are accusing me of not looking at the big picture!" Clyde said angrily

He was the one that does almost all the work! How dare this Ryden talk to him like that?

"When did you hear me accused you?!" Ryden cried out bitterly. He was just making excuses to taste that delectable neck again how come he becomes the bad guy again?

It was a pity that such a porcelain white neck was given to a shrewd fox that easily loses his temper

"You didn't said that literally but that's what your words meant!" Clyde replied 

"I didn't mean that! You are just trying to find another fault to scold me!"

"Maybe, don't be too full of faults so that I would not have any reason to scold you!"

"Oh wow, Mr. Perfect is at it again!"

"Mr. Flaws is complaining again!"

In the outside, people think that Clyde and Ryden have a harmonious relationship with each other

What they didn't know was that the two were like fire and ice, oil and water, dog and cat, the type of people that are always fighting each other

It didn't take that long before the faces of the two turned red from anger as they glared at each other nonstop

"At least I wasn't the one that always moaned when I kiss your neck!" Ryden said smugly, hitting Clyde in his sorespot

As such, the person that don't have even an ounce of patience when it comes to his husband instantly exploded

"Asshole!" Clyde shouted as he stood up from his seat. He kicked the poor husband in the foot before walking out of the room to get some fresh air

His heart was fuming with anger but as soon as he exited the bedroom, his face regained their usual calm

No matter how angry he was, he cannot tear of his mask at least not yet

"Your Highness, may I know where you are going?" The head butler ask respectfully at least in the surface

Head Butlers are different compared to maids that the Nobles and Royals can easily fire as they wish

The butler is like the right hand of the Manor's owner

The butlers that got fired are much less compared to maids. Most of the time, head butlers would only be fired with a big reason like embezzling funds

As such, up until now, this spy butler was still in the Manor but that wouldn't be for long

It was the butler that was managing the funds in the Manor on behalf of Ryden and surely, some of the Prince's money ended up in his pockets

As soon as Clyde finished checking for the irregularities of the account, he would fire this butler

But for now, this butler came at a perfect timing. There is no other servant around as every maid feared Ryden, even the orphans

Although 'thanks' to Clyde none of the orphans got fired, they were also not left completely unscathed from Ryden's outbursts

With no other maids around, Clyde can tear of his mask for a bit

His usually gentle demeanor instantly changes as his anger reflected his rage

"You're really annoying, always trying to snoop around. You feel threatened, right? You feared that while I was checking the accounts, I would find out about your crimes?" Clyde said with a sneer

Aside from being a spy, the reason why the butler is lurking around is surely because he was terrified

With Ryden losing his mind, if Clyde were to report the butler's crimes to him, this butler might even lose his head

As such, the butler don't feel safe. He was lurking around the master bedroom to find a chance to save himself

The butler was still surprised at Clyde's sudden change in personality but before he can even say anything, Clyde already made another move

Clyde lifted his foot and without any hint of mercy, he uses it to strike the butler in the crotch

He hits the man where it would hurt the most and as expected, the butler covered his crotch while wailing loudly

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!" His cries sounds really pitiful and traveled at a large part of the manor

Although there aren't maids at least outside the master bedroom, there are still some in the connecting hallway

After all, the maid has to be ready and arrive fast when the masters needed them

As such, in just a matter of seconds, there are already maids that are arriving to check the situation 

If things happened as usual, Clyde would have become the talk of the Manor then the whole Empire

After all, what kind of people would suddenly kick a person in the nuts without any good reason?

Fortunately, Clyde already calculated what the results of him venting his anger to the butler was

"Y-you bitch! H-how dare you k-kick my c-crotch!" The butler shouted angrily while pointing his finger at Clyde

The consort acted as if he was taken aback and he stood a step back

"W-w-what? I did not do such thing!" Clyde denied with a pale face as if the accusations scared him

With most of the maids in the Manor the ones that Clyde hired from the orphanage and to his angelic image, who among them would believe the butler?

As such, although it was the butler that is in extreme pain, the maids all went to Clyde's side to help him

"Head Butler, how can you say that word to His Highness!!"

"Why are you suddenly accusing His Highness?!"

"Have you lost your mind?!"

Although these maids are still young, they are nonetheless filled with gratitude towards Clyde for giving them a high paying job that most commoners could only dream of

These orphans are the older ones from the orphanage and they already have an idea of how the world truly works

A person like Clyde that is willing to take orphans that almost know nothing are rare, too rare

His kindness knows no bounds and these orphans are set on helping Clyde as much as they can to repay him

"What is happening here?" A cold voice entered everyone's ears and the maid's bodies trembled a bit

This was the voice that as much as possible they do not want to hear

While the maids are filled with admiration for Clyde, they feel fear towards Ryden on the other hand

"Your Highness, please give justice to this servant! I was merely asking His Highness what I can do to help him when he suddenly becomes violent and kick this servant's crotch!" The Head Butler immediately spoke

Clyde's kick towards him was like a God's given gift

Doesn't the Prince lile his wife for his gentleness and kindness?

If Clyde is not as kind as he showed, would the Prince still likes him?

Before Clyde can fine out about the irregularities in the accounts, the butler must chase him out

Not to mention, the Empress would even be happy if Clyde was really chased out

Unfortunately, the Butler was overestimating himself and underestimating Clyde and Ryden

"My wife hits you? What are you shitting about?" Ryden questioned darkly

Although this moment wasn't rehearsed by him and Clyde, he still knows that he should always side with his wife

Ryden is just silly in most parts and not stupid. He at least know this much
