Minjoon had just ended his call and he heard a grumbling sound from the seat beside him. Minjung was furrowing her eyebrows as she glares at her brother.

"Are you seriously going on a dinner date with that witch?! Why though?! Are you just trying to make me angry?! What about Sister-in-law? Don't tell me there's no more hope for you guys?!"

Minjung looks desperately at her brother, wishing that it wasn't true. She really liked Haeun and she wants no one else to be her Sister-in-law, especially not Haeji.

She felt that even if there was no hope for Minjoon to be with Haeun, anyone would have been fine as her sister-in-law. Anyone except for Haeji.

Honestly, Minjung didn't start off hating Haeji. They were on good terms with each other and were even quite close at some point in time.

But when she accidentally caught her trying to drugged Minjoon, the hatred towards Haeji started.

And since then, both of them had never been on good terms. Haeji also had slowly shown her true colors to Minjung, not bothering to put on an act in front of her.

Seeing Minjung's troubled face, Minjoon suddenly burst into a fit of laughter. He still can't believe she hated Haeji that much.

"Oh god! You should have look at your face! It's hilarious! Are you really against the idea of me going out with Haeji? Why though? She isn't that bad."

Minjoon sniffled his laughter as he tries to catch his breath from laughing too much.

He actually knows the reason behind why his baby sister hated Haeji so much but he just felt like teasing her after so long.

They usually hang out together a lot last time. But recently, he realized that he has been pushing her away ever since he lost Haeun the last time.

So to make up for all those times, he had actually planned this lunch date with her.

Though the problem with Haeun has yet to be resolved, he knew he still had to make time for his beloved baby sister somehow.

"Are you seriously asking me that? You know what she tried to do to you and she's the biggest reason why this misunderstanding with Sister-in-law came to happen! Why of all people you picked her?"

Minjung slump in her seat as she sighs. She just can't understand why her brother still treated Haeji nicely even after knowing what she has done.

To her, Haeji doesn't deserve to be treated nicely since all she wanted from them was their status and power.

Because why else would she wanted to drug her brother? She obviously wanted to carry his child and make it as an excuse so that Minjoon have no choice but to marry her.

But Minjung wasn't going to let that witch get her way. As long as she's still around, Haeji can just dream of becoming the Kim's family First Lady.

"There, there... I was just joking okay? You know I won't give up on Haeun that easily right? I'm just using the dinner to ask her out and make her confess the truth. That way, Haeun would believe that this is all a misunderstanding."

After hearing what her brother had said, Minjung squeals in delight as she shakes his body back and forth.

She was absolutely happy that her brother hasn't given up on Haeun. She honestly was scared shitless earlier, thinking Haeun wouldn't be her Sister-in-law.

Minjung didn't have any particular reason as to why she wanted Haeun to be her Sister-in-law so badly.

She just felt that Haeun would change her Brother for the better and somehow when she first met her, she knew she had to make Haeun her Sister-in-law.

"Okay, I think you can stop now? We need to get going or we won't be making it for lunch."

Minjoon gave out a soft laugh and patted Minjung's head when she immediately stops and obediently sat back at her seat.

He then started his car engine and drove off to Q Plaza, the paradise of food. It was said that Q Plaza was to have all kinds of food from all the different parts of the world.

Not only that, the dishes are all authentic and made with only top quality fresh ingredients that are freshly stocked daily.

Knowing his little sister, Minjoon knew Minjung was a total foodie and is very picky with the foods that she eats. If it's not to her liking, she won't eat it. It was that simple for her.

Just for food, she was willing to travel to another country just to get the exact same taste and authenticity that she desires.

She was so particular about it that one time, she had chickenpox and she starves herself for a few days just because she couldn't go to Hong Kong to get her favorite dumplings.

So, not wanting something like that to happen again, Minjoon was smart enough to come up with the idea to make a food paradise just for his darling baby sister.

Obviously, it was a successful move since Q Plaza has become Minjung's favorite hangout area which she never fails to visit every single day.

But aside from its official opening, Minjoon had never been there again since he can't stand the smell of certain foods that are served there.

Seeing that this was to make up for all those times that he had pushed her away, Minjoon braves himself to push through it and visit Q Plaza again.

After a thirty minutes drive from the main house, they finally arrive at Q Plaza. Just by opening his car door, Minjoon had already started to feel nauseous.

He was so bad at acting normal that it obviously didn't go unnoticed by Minjung since she asks him whether he was alright.

"Oh, I'm fine... Really... Just feeling a little unwell... Maybe because I haven't eaten all day. So shall we get going?"

Minjung gave him a weird look, obviously not trusting his brother's words. But since she knows he will just push her question aside, she decided not to probe him any longer.

They then made their way to the lift lobby, with Minjoon still trying hard to maintain his expression.

But as they were walking, Minjoon saw someone familiar in the distant and decided to call out to him.

"Yah, Lee Haneul! Wait up!"

The said person abruptly stops in his steps and strains his eyes, trying to see who called him. As his vision cleared up, he quickly greets Minjoon with a bow and walks towards him.

"Hyung... What are you doing here? Are you sure you can be out here with the current situation? Don't you have stuff to settle with someone?"

Haneul looks confusingly at Minjoon, skeptical with how relaxed he was.

He was imagining Minjoon to be all serious and ready to kill, or at least sue, his family for all the trouble they have caused him with those fake rumors.

"Well, yeah... I am busy but I've at least got some time in hand to have a decent lunch. I'm meeting your sister later for dinner. Not for a date or anything but to settle this stuff in a calm and proper manner."

Though his voice didn't sound like it, Minjoon was feeling awkward suddenly. He doesn't even know why he brought up the dinner matter so suddenly like that.

Way to kill the mood. But maybe because he's Haeji's younger brother that he suddenly brought it up. So as to not make him misunderstand if he ever saw them out that night.

"Really, hyung? Do you really think that person will confess for what she did? I doubt so and I'm her brother. She never admits to her mistakes, like ever. Not once in her life and you think she will suddenly do so?"

Minjoon was surprised to see Haneul reacting that way. He wasn't really a person that talks a lot, much less someone who expresses his feelings.

He was used to seeing him talking in his signature monotonous voice and expressionless face. But this time, Minjoon can clearly see him looking dissatisfied by his comment.

From the way he sees it, Haneul must not like Haeji that much. Maybe that's the reason behind him wanting to live alone despite being only eighteen.

He was pretty sure Haneul must have some issues with his family.

"I don't mean to be rude, but you're just wasting your time. Bringing her out will just drive her possessiveness towards you more. You will literally gain nothing from it while she can use that as evidence that you guys are a 'thing'."

"Rather, I suggest you meet up with my grandparents and explain the whole thing to them first. I'm pretty sure they already know about what's going on and hearing your side of the story will be something they want to hear first before anyone else."

After hearing what Haneul had said, Minjoon took a moment to think about it. He felt it was indeed a better idea than his.

But knowing Haeji, she definitely wouldn't let that happen. Also, if he follows Haneul's idea, all his plans wouldn't work out.

Minjoon was currently not only in a dilemma but also in a state of frustration.

He wanted to settle this issue as quickly as he can and bring Haeun back but he can't do it without Haeji admitting that it was all just a rumor.

As Minjoon slowly grew more frustrated with himself, a voice shattered the silence and his trains of thoughts.

"Yah! Why are you making my brother stress out right now? He's currently out with me to have lunch and you just have to spoil it for me, don't you?! Jeez... Why do you always have to spoil my mood every time we meet?"

"And where's your greeting? You greeted my brother so obviously so saw me right beside him. You did it on purpose, isn't it? Just to annoy me.."

Minjung clicked her tongue in annoyance as she gave an icy glare towards Haneul. She expected him to just quietly greet her and be done for. But to her surprise, he uses his finger and blocks his left ears.

Though it was just a small action, it was enough to make her blood boil from annoyance. He was obviously trying to say that she was being loud and annoying.

Just where is the respect that he should be showing to someone older than him?

"Can't you be a little less loud then that? For a moment there, I thought you were shouting at me. But talking about greetings, shouldn't you give me one too? As your senior, that is.."

He smirks as he gave a smug look towards Minjung.

That was it. The smirk was the last straw. Minjung was holding back the whole time but she could no longer when she saw how smug he was. She was determined to end him once and for all this time.
