26 Qi Feng

Suddenly, someone exclaimed excitedly, "There is a new transfer student in our class! I heard that it's a girl!"

Everyone started chattering after that.

Li Yuri curiously asked the person who spoke earlier, "Zhan Wu, is it true??"

Zhan Wu smiled brightly as he nodded, "Yes, I just went to fill my bottle and overheard Teacher Gong saying that to Mr. Hua! I also heard that she's from a super rich family!"

Mo Xuanji raised her eyebrows, "Really? If she's from a rich family, why didn't she choose the Elite Class 1-1?"

Tang Min lazily exclaimed, "Maybe she has bad grades!"

A crystal clear voice suddenly resounded throughout the whole classroom, "Who did you say has bad grades?"

Right at that moment, the class abruptly fell into silence.

Everyone turned to look towards the direction where the voice came from and saw an extremely beautiful girl in a cool outfit, lazily leaning against the door with crossed arms.

The girl had a delicate face with exquisite features and shoulder-length ash grey hair.

There was a hint of arrogance and aloofness in her eyes and she had a very domineering aura around her, which immediately made everyone give way for her as she slowly walked inside.

Though, her lips were currently curled up into a faint smile, one could feel a shiver run down their spine if she smiled at them like that.

The girl repeated her question again as she looked straight at Tang Min, "Who did you say has bad grades?"

Tang Min was stunned for a moment before he replied arrogantly, "Of course, it's you who has bad grades!"

The girl was amused. She, Qi Feng, had never encountered such an arrogant person who dared to say that she had bad grades.

If her previous school's teachers and classmates were to hear his words, they'd surely cry in despair and wonder if they heard it correctly.

If Qi Feng's grades, which were the most excellent among the whole school and city, were bad, then what about those who actually had bad grades?!

Li Yuri pinched Tang Min's hand as she hushed, "Min, don't forget that she's from a rich family! Don't offend her!"

Tang Min frowned in pain as he shouted, "Ow! Yuri! Stop pinching me!"

Li Yuri pinched him harder. "Stop shouting!"

Qi Feng finally noticed the girl next to the arrogant lad.

Li Yuri actually had a very cute and lovable face but because she always acted cool and liked goofing around, no one actually saw her lovely features.

But that was not the key point Qi Feng was thinking about. She slightly creased her brows. 'Why does she look a little familiar? Have I seen her before?'

At this moment, the bell rang. Everyone regained their senses and slowly returned back to their seats. Teacher Gong also entered the classroom.

Li Yuri stood up and said, "Greet the teacher!"

Qi Feng slowly walked to the front.

Teacher Gong excitedly said, "Today, we have a new transfer student here. Her name is Qi Feng. Qi Feng, introduce yourself."

Qi Feng aloofly stood straight as she picked up a chalk and wrote her name on the board. Her handwriting was very neat.

She then turned around and said as she peered at the whole class, "I'm Qi Feng."

Teacher Gong and everyone waited for her to continue but few minutes passed by and she clearly showed no intentions of saying anything more.

So Mr. Gong exasperatedly said, "Okay, now Student Qi, choose your seat."

Qi Feng scanned through the classroom and saw two empty seats but she didn't choose them as she pointed at Li Yuri's seat, "I want to sit with her."

Everyone was taken aback.

Mr. Gong smiled helplessly as he gestured towards Mo Xuanji, "Student Qi, this... How about you sit with Student Mo instead?"

Qi Feng was persistent as she expressionlessly said, "No. I want to sit with her."

Her words were simple and aloof but her powerful aura told him that if he didn't agree to her request, he'd face hell.

Mr. Gong: "..."

He could only turn to Tang Min. The latter was stubborn as well, "No, I'm not gonna change my seat!"

Teacher Gong was exasperated. He suddenly had an idea.

He turned to Tang Min and solemnly said as he touched the papers on the desk, "I've got the marks from the test last week.."

Tang Min instantly stood up as he smiled amiably, "I'll change seats!"

Everyone else: "..." Why is he so shameless!

Qi Feng walked towards Li Yuri's seat and sat down beside her after Tang Min went to sit with Mo Xuanji.

Li Yuri looked at Qi Feng's beautiful side-profile and silently added her in her 'Goddesses' list.

She then asked curiously, "Why do you want to sit with me??"

Qi Feng turned her head and looked at her, pursing her red lips, "You look like someone I know."

She paused for a while before she meaningfully asked, "Are you perhaps related to the... Han Family?"

Li Yuri pondered deeply. Which Han family? Do I know any Han family? "No, why do you ask?"

Qi Feng was slightly disappointed by her answer as she turned aloof again. "Nothing." Shaking her head, she thought. 'I must've mistook her then.'

She was going to ask her more when Teacher Gong cleared his throat as he seriously said, "I've finished marking the test results."
