Augustus’ expression hardened. This was the first time he had met such a sharp-tongued woman!

Before he could speak, the door was suddenly pushed open again.

A fragrant figure quickly rushed into the room and aggressively pushed Madeline away. She hugged the little cutie and cried. “Mommy’s little baby! Are you alright?!”

Madeline steadied herself. After recognizing the person, her expression instantly became as cold as ice.

She looked at the woman with hatred and disgust.

This woman was… Courtney!

She saved Courtney’s son?

The little cutie’s grip on Madeline’s clothes was forcibly loosened, and he immediately grew anxious. He frantically pushed the lady in front of him. “Let go of me! Bad woman!” he screamed.

“How can you say that about Mommy! You’re the flesh and blood that Mom was pregnant with for ten months!” Courtney tearfully said as she increased her strength in hugging her precious son.

Augustus frowned slightly as he watched the little cutie’s face turn a flushed red. He pushed her away. “Enough!” he commanded.

Courtney stood up gracefully and pretended to wipe her tears in response. She called out softly, “Augustus.”

Disgust flashed across Augustus’ eyes.

Her son was kidnapped, but this woman had exquisite makeup on and was full of energy. She was even acting pretentiously in front of him!

If not for the DNA test, he really wouldn’t have believed that this woman was his son’s biological mother!

“Daddy! Mommy’s gone!” Hugo wailed.

While they were speaking, Madeline had actually slipped away in the chaos!

“Stop fussing! She is not your mother.” Augustus stared at his crying son, his eyes gloomy.

The little boy stared at him with teary eyes. He rolled around on the bed willfully as if he wasn’t afraid of Augustus’ coldness at all. “I don’t care! I just want her to be my mother!” he said as he whined.

“Hugo Astor!” Augustus reprimanded him through gritted teeth.

Courtney, who was standing at the side, hugged Hugo again in order to put up a show of motherly love. “Isn’t Mommy right here…” She coaxed. “Ah!”

She was suddenly forcefully pushed away by Hugo. Her back hit the corner of the table, and her face contorted in pain.

“You’re not my mother! You bad woman!” he shouted.

Courtney rubbed her waist and lowered her head to hide the viciousness and murderous intent in her eyes.

Sooner or later, she would deal with this little b*stard!

“Leave. He needs to recuperate.” Augustus settled Hugo down, not even looking at her.

No one dared to disobey Augustus. Courtney was secretly angry that she couldn’t get close to him again this time. However, she had no choice but to leave unwillingly.

Who was the woman just then that the little b*stard was talking about? How could this ingrate call an unfamiliar woman his mother?

The red Ferrari had already been wrecked to the point that it had to be scrapped. Madeline threw the car in the junkyard and took another car from the shop to replace it.

When she got home and opened the door, Madeline saw that the house was filled with smoke, making people cough continuously.

“Cough cough… Aurora! What did you do again!” she said

Madeline hurriedly opened the window to ventilate the house.

Just as she said that, a fair and cute little girl ran out of the bedroom, holding a test tube that was emitting thick smoke!

“Mommy, look! This is my new invention!” Aurora said as she raised the test tube. Her watery peach blossom eyes were filled with excitement.

“Just a bit of the liquid formed, once this cools down, can intoxicate an elephant!”

Madeline was about to explode. Why was it that other people’s daughters were well-behaved and quiet, and their mother’s little bestie, but her daughter was so mischievous, causing trouble everywhere?!

Madeline looked at her daughter who was still blinking innocently at her and acting cute. She wanted to pick her up and spank her. “Aurora! I told you not to do dangerous experiments at home!” she said.

Madeline sneered and bluntly threatened her daughter. “My dear daughter, don’t forget that once I give the order, no one will dare to buy your inventions!” She retorted.

“Waa— Mom, you’re burning the bridge once you’ve used it!” Aurora wailed.

Madeline snorted and made a chopping gesture with her hand. “Clean up the room. Otherwise, I’ll show you what a real bridge burning is!” She warned.

Aurora pouted and unwillingly went to get the broom. “You’re indeed the most evil mother!” she said.

The mother-daughter pair were noisy and lively, but the atmosphere in the Astor Family mansion seemed to have stagnated.

Augustus stared at the note on the coffee table, his brows furrowed in fury. His expression was as cold as a winter’s frozen river.

There was a line of large words written crookedly on the paper.

“I’m going to find my mother! Don’t miss me!”

Courtney stood opposite him, not daring to breathe loudly for fear of angering Augustus.

After this father and son pair had returned from the hospital, they seemed to be in a cold war. Hugo had locked himself inside his room without a word and Augustus had directly returned to his office.

Without Augustus around, Courtney couldn’t be bothered to deal with the little b*stard and decided to go shopping.

Who would have thought that when she returned at night, that little b*stard would have actually left a note and ran away from home!

Courtney trembled with fear and forced a smile, inching closer to Augustus. “Augustus, don’t worry. Hugo is so smart. He will definitely be fine,” she said.

Augustus’ gaze was as sharp as a knife as he glared at her. “How can you be sure that he’s fine? No mother would be so calm after her child ran away. Moreover, he was just kidnapped this morning!” he said.

Courtney’s heart jumped. She was frightened by his malicious gaze that she took two steps back.

Trembling, she explained. “I… Of course I’m worried about him. You don’t know how scared I was when he was kidnapped this morning!”

Augustus’ eyes landed on the shopping bags that were piled on the floor. His gaze was cold and intimidating. “Our child has just returned home from the hospital, yet you went shopping. This is how you show your concern?” He mocked her.

He had long seen through her materialistic nature. She was cruel and despicable!

If it wasn’t for the fact that the psychiatrist had said that children could not lack the company of their biological mothers during their childhood, he would have chased her out long ago.

After what happened today, he hated her even more.

Biological mother? His son might as well be without one!

“I…” she stammered.

Augustus looked at her as though she was a dead person!

Courtney was scared speechless.

“Get lost!” He interrupted her in a low voice.

Augustus had lost his patience.

Courtney hurried upstairs with trembling legs, but she silently cursed that little b*stard thousands of times in her heart.

She only wished that he had died in that fire with that b*tch!

She had thought that with this little b*stard, she would be able to marry Augustus and become Mrs. Astor.

Who would have known that Augustus would only acknowledge the little b*stard’s status but refuse to marry her?

Moreover, this little bastard was weird as well. He didn’t even acknowledge her as his mother and kept calling her a bad woman!

He was indeed his son. He had remembered to turn off the alarms and delete the surveillance camera footage!

“Check the hospital’s surveillance cameras and find that woman!” He ordered.
