At that moment, there was an indescribable ache in Madeline’s heart. It was as if something was tugging at her, and she involuntarily took two steps forward.

The brawny and vicious fugitive’s expression changed. “Mind your own business!” He cursed in a low voice and glared fiercely at Madeline.

Madeline sighed silently.
