Chapter 170: Attacking the Raizen clan!

Hearing Klaus's response, Lucien smile slightly and turned his attention to the Vladimir clan patriarch, and gazed at him in silence. Gazing at the youthful man Lucien didn't know how to respond to his request and refused to believe that an entire clan will be ready to submit to him simply because of his little underworld adventure.

"We will talk further on our alliance after the Raizen clan has fallen into my hands… Since the Lightborn family are my first and only allies, keep it in mind that their opinion matters a lot…" Lucien answered dryly and didn't bother with the man anymore.

He walked towards the throne and when he was at the foot of the stairs leading to the throne he fell on one knee and flashed the emperor a cruel smile.

"As an Imperial knight and as a reward for killing Lukas Raizen the traitor, I request to the right to take the Raizen clan under my wing for proper guidance" Lucien said the last part with a sinister smile and didn't even bother hiding it.

"You may!" Emperor Fei quickly responded without giving it a second thought.

Everyone saw this and many noble family heads felt attacked by this but they didn't dare show it since the emperor has agreed to it. They could only watch in silence as Lucien walked out of the room with murderous intentions visible in his eyes. After seeing his army of demonic beasts and if they are indestructible as Lucien says, then even the Raizen clan may not be able to resist Lucien's wrath.

After seeing those cold eyes of Derik Angus Lucien has been suffering from countless nightmares each time he sleeps. He remembered what the two invaders Blink and Clovis said about their masters. They both claimed their masters will return to this world and have revenge on them and Lucien strongly suspected that the death god they called upon is Blink's master. While he was scared he also felt excited as well! He could tell the underworld affected him somehow and that's why he needs the system.

Lucien followed the normal teleportation procedures and in a few minutes he was already at the torn forest, from there he flew towards the Raizen clan. After leaving this clan for a long time because of his grandfather, he is back and ready to make this clan his, just like he promised!

"Diplomacy or simply attack? I guess we attack!" Lucien screamed the moment he could see the walls of the clan territory!

He knew there is no use talking since there are so many elders who coverted Lukas' position, the only way to claim the throne is to show power! That's all that matters to beast men!

"AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!" Lucien growled viciously as black bolts of lightning flashed around him viciously while he approached rapidly. His eyes let out a bright silver light as he wrapped himself with the lightning as he plunged into the lightning curtain formation without regard for his body!

Smashing into the Lightning curtain surrounding the Raizen territory, many were terrified as they watched countless bolts of lightning ruthlessly assault one man but to their greatest surprise there was no scream of pain, instead it was chilly pearls of laughter coming from him!

"IS THIS THE BEST THE RAIZEN CLAN DEFENSE CAN DO? EVEN A SPIRIT REALM MASTER CAN SHATTER THIS!" Lucien laughed hysterically as his eyes spotted one of the people maintaining the formation on the city wall.

Unlike Lucien's clan where everything is automated, other clans didn't have such advanced technologies as him so they depended on groups of people to cast a barrier spell and maintain it. These people usually took turns in maintaining these formations, making sure that the others rested perfectly well before returning to their posts.

"I apologize, but you will be a sacrifice for the greater good!" Lucien sneered before releasing countless bolts of black lightning.

Everyone watched in shock as the bolts of lightning slipped through the lightning curtain, reaching the man seated on top of the gate! Seeing this the man snared as his eyes let out a silver light and he released bolts of lightning of his own but the moment it collided with Lucien's his expression changed and he suddenly felt terrified!

"What the hell?" The man's face turned pale in fear as his lightning was overpowered and when he got hit by the black lightning, he felt his weak, feeble soul squirming for help!

The man was blown off the wall and at that moment the lightning curtain began crumbling! Without a single member, maintaining a high-level barrier spell was too much for the others, forcing them to drop the barrier but at that moment they were given a taste of what people call true terror!

Roar!

The inhuman roar made many shivers as the massive figure of the Abok appeared shooting to the ground and soon, more beast assimilations began appearing as well!

At this moment, these people realized this was no diplomatic mission or show of strength. They soon realized that this is an invasion but not by an army but by a fourteen-year-old kid who was banished from the clan. He didn't want to claim the Raizen clan the normal way, no he wanted to subjugate them through sheer power and force!

Seeing this, many were infuriated not at Lucien but Lukas Raizen. If he didn't banish this kid, the brightest star of the empire would have belonged to them!
