Chapter 162: Chapter 161

Name:My beast Emperor System Author:Riviz
After his battle with Lukas, Lucien was only able to travel for a short while before resting. His body gave off the combined aura of multiple king-tier beasts any magic beast under the Emperor tier dared not attack him, with that taken care of, Lucien never had to worry about magic beasts all through his journey.

He had stored Lukas' corpse in his omini Zone and he spent the rest of the night in the darkness, seated in a cross-legged position as he concentrated on his cultivation. After defeating Lukas, not only did his strength increase but his assimilation rate of the Raizen god beast was over sixty percent and normally this would be a good thing but for Lucien, it is the reverse.

As a beast-man, you can draw strength from the link between you and your god beast and many tried to strengthen this link, hoping for better things but Lucien found out this may not be the best option for anyone.

After gaining the assimilation rate of Lukas which should be at fifty percent and added it to his own, Lucien hasn't stopped hallucinating. He kept seeing visions of the Raizen's life and he kept hearing countless voices he is unable to make any sense of. His head hurt badly and he was on the verge of crumbling and only then did Rakuzen step in to explain the situation to him.

[If Lukas lived long enough to further strengthen his link with the Raizen god beast he would have become it's blessed] Rakuzen spoke and when he spoke the visions vanished and the voices vanished.

"Blessed? What's that?" Lucien felt relieved and confused as well so he couldn't help but ask the question.

[Blessed are chosen vessels for gods… It allows them to descend on the mortal realm without destroying the entire planet mistakenly] Rakuzen's voice made it sound like this is general information everyone should know by now.

Thinking about this, Lucien was even more confused than before. He couldn't understand why gold realm masters will choose to descend into the human world and play god for no good reason. Like, why come down here? Up there should be a lot better!

"This doesn't make any sense!" Lucien declared as he laid on his back.

[Let me explain this in a way even a dummy will understand… The role of a god is really boring and annoying… imagine listening to millions of prayers from stupid devotes… Gods live in their domains… meaning they are isolated from the rest of the world… they play the roles of the observer and they are not allowed to influence the activities of mortals... These are unspoken rules that prevent gods from using mortals as their playthings and the only way to bypass this rule is to become a mortal! With a blessed successful enough to form a powerful link, a god can descend and live again through him or her…] Rakuzen explained making Lucien feel chills in his heart.

At this moment, Lucien realized something important even without Rakuzen saying a word. There are no more open spots amongst the gods so it's very unlikely for any cultivation at their level to become a new god. Each god has an authority they control in their element or affinity, so when a demigod is close to achieving godhood and is granted the same authority as one of the gods, it's only natural for them to battle for that position, so in a moment like that, even a demigod does not hold a candle against a god, it will be a one-sided massacre.

At this point, Lucien realized how dangerous this world is. If you are not strong enough you will most likely get killed and if you get too strong you will end up dying as well. In the cultivation world, lives have no value, only strength does! People kill others for looking at them the wrong way or for not showing enough respect or more. Considering so many craps he has been overlooking, Lucien felt ashamed of himself, how could he be so carefree in such a competitive world.

Even if Lukas got stronger and grew faster and reached the peak of the demigod he will be struck down by the same Raizen who helped him reach where he is!

"Hell no!" Lucien complained as he laid on the ground and shut his eyes. He wasn't bothered about getting ambushed by someone since he had Rakuzen on the lookout.

He felt sorry for anyone who felt killing him while he is asleep is the perfect plan since the fact is Rakuzen can easily take over his body and fight for him. In his opinion, it's better someone fought him than someone fought Rakuzen!

----------------------------------

By the time Lucien woke up his wounds had closed up but the claw scars could still be seen everywhere on his body. He changed clothes before he continued his journey without bothering to eat. As a cultivator with a martial technique, Lucien can sustain his body with the world's energy everywhere so he can stay long without eating. Normally this is reserved for only spirit realm masters and unlike Lucien, they can stay forever without eating it sleeping but Lucien's as usual is special. He is allowed to partake in some of the benefits but not all of them.

After flying at his top speed for another half a day, Lucien reached Tania village but instead of walking in, Lucien decided to fly in. The people watched the silver bean approaching and normally they were not worried because they had complete faith in the city defenses but when they saw it shot through the barrier and towards the town square they retreated in fear and prepared for a bitter battle.

Boom!

The beam of light hit the ground and they saw a figure wearing a blue azure dragon mask. If it wasn't because the mask is similar to the mighty Rakuzen statue in their town they would have attack immediately.

"Let's see!"

Upon arrival, Lucien didn't bother speaking or addressing those in front of him with their weapons raised. His eyes let out a bright glow as his aura spread across the village, reaching every corner of it. His eyes widened in shock and a smile bloomed on his hidden face.

"Good sir, may I ask for your identity?" A bald elderly man with an old cane walked towards him slowly and said those words. Behind him was a yellow-haired young lady only slightly older than him but she still looked as amazing as Lucien remembered. The village was not considered large like his territory so it wasn't difficult for the major cultivators of the village to gather and in a few minutes, Lucien was surrounded.

"Did you not hear me, good sir? Who are you?" Aponi said coldly now as his aura exploded and the image of a blue near appeared above him, making Lucien chuckle.

"Is that how you treat your king?" Lucien said as he pulled off his mask revealing his handsome face that made everyone bow almost instantly as if they were programmed to do that.

"You have an old, weak body, Aponi… If you keep doing this you will definitely hurt yourself one day!" Lucien complained he grabbed the old man by the hands and helped him up gently. Meanwhile the hearts of all those who saw this gesture melt as they didn't know someone like Lucien is nice even though he is in the position to treat them any way he wants.

"I apologize young master! My granddaughter told us about your great battle with the Creed that oppressed us and what you did to save us… she told me you were in trouble with your people and because you were away for more than a year many of us thought you were dead" Aponi said with shaky voice stunning Lucien.

He shot a glance around and noticed the heavy looks on the faces of everyone around, making him realize that he held an important place in the hearts of these people and that's why they are all bothered about his life. Before he came here he was afraid that these people would forget him and he couldn't help but admit he was scared of that taking place.

"I was made a noble… I was given a territory… now I am here to take you all back with me" Lucien a loving smile as he spoke. His words stunned many but he could see the reluctance in their eyes but this didn't come as a shock. He was already expecting this response and he understood why they didn't want to live.

This place was once the home of the great Rakuzen and their home as well. They have gone through numerous things in this place and this is the only place they can call home. Leaving it now is something they didn't want to do, especially when hope for them has appeared.

"You don't have to worry, you don't have to pack anything… I intend to move the entire village with all of you in it!" Lucien's voice turned ethereal as his body levitated off the ground.
