Chapter 130: Pure Qi body

You!" One of the Libet representatives growled but he dared not attack Lucien here. The man knew that everything would go wrong if he dared to make such a careless move.

They couldn't explain what happened to their old leader whose eyes exploded and they were not too keen to find out why and how this happened. All they knew right now is that Lucien is responsible for this as well and this may cause a war to break out between the two empires if care is not taken.

"Me? I only did what was necessary for survival… Our group was the weakest and I am pretty sure they would have ambushed us after we took the sealed artifact… Blame your people for lacking fair play… their rotten characters got them killed… As for your old man, he tried to see something beyond… even I dare not look it directly in the face…That was a really dumb thing to do" Lucien chuckled lightly.

"You did this! The emperor will hear of this!" The old man screamed while covering his eye sockets tightly.

"Huh? I did this? Last time I checked I am only a beast-man who just broke into the warrior realm an hour ago… Are you going to tell your emperor a warrior realm fourteen-year-old, reduced you to this? Hahahaha! Cute" Lucien laughed lightly but his eyes were still cold.

No one could understand how this kid could remain calm and cold even when he is standing in the presence of the most powerful figures on the continent.

Although Lucien expected the Libet empire to come for him, he didn't expect them to come so soon. But even though he was worried about them, he was more concerned about the creed. In his opinion, those are the real threat and he truly wished he could raise his power quickly.

"If this is all, I will be leaving… I have some work to do" Lucien said while bowing slightly.

"Mhmm" Emperor Fei nodded lightly in approval.

He was happy with the way Lucien handled things since he originally thought the kid would be timid when faced with powerful characters. Yet, Lucien showed no fear, and thanks to whatever is residing inside him, One of the most powerful figures in the Libet empire lost his sight! He just watched silently as Lucien walked out of the hall without bothering to turn back.

Lucien didn't bother returning to his territory, he directly went to his dorm in the academy. With the king-tier beasts gone and instructor Hai with other students hunting magic beasts at random, Lucien did not need to worry. Even if someone tried to make trouble within the town, they would be struck down instantly.

Entering his room, Lucien took off his mask and sat down in a cross-legged position, meditating! It is one thing to break through into a higher realm and it's another thing to stabilize your realm. Lucien may have reached the warrior realm but his understanding of his capabilities could be considered shallow and this will be crucial in a life and death situation.

"Huh? Do I still have this much energy stored up? King tier magic beasts are more precious than I thought" Lucien raised an eyebrow in shock.

When meditating, he realized that his body was still filled to the brim with world energy, absorbed from the king-tier beasts. He guessed his body used a good portion of the excess to jump from the 4th sky of the human realm to the 1st sky of the warrior realm but that's not all! He got hurt because even then the energy was still too much so his body forcefully expelled the excess, harming him in the process. Unfortunately, that's not all! He still had enough energy stored up for one more breakthrough but Lucien could tell his body is yet to recover.

If he should attempt a breakthrough he may sustain a permanent injury.

"What to do?" Lucien muttered thoughtfully.

"A perfect god vessel? What's that?" Lucien couldn't help but ask but he met only silence. It was obvious Rakuzen had no intentions of answering so he let the matter slide after causing the old being for piquing his curiosity for no reason.

With nothing else to do, Lucien began circulating the excess energy all through his body. At first, it felt warm and relaxing but soon I got hotter and hotter! Lucien shut his eyes tightly as he continued this process without losing focus. His skin soon turned red hurt and slowly some sort of black jelly substance began sipping out of his body from different areas.

This continued for a while and when Lucien finally felt like most of the energy accumulated has been used up he slowly opened his eyes only to realize that he was surrounded by lots of black stinky substances. His nostrils twitched as his eyebrows knitted together. Shooting a glance at the nearest window, Lucien realized it was getting dark, making him believe he spent at least three hours doing this.

Without hesitating, Lucien looked at the series of notifications received and a smile bloomed on his face.

Even though he got a three percent increasing on his stat, his body felt lighter. Even though it felt lighter, it was stronger as well and also released some sort of unique scent. Lucien went to the mirror first only to realize he had gotten a lot stronger. His muscles and shapes were well aligned and his skin looked fairer than usual. Lucien has always known he is good looking but he had to confess that he looked better now.

"Interesting" he muttered.

After Lucien was done washing, he walked into the living room, only to see Dean Xio sitting there. Even though he wasn't shocked he hated that fact that someone else can enter this place made him feel less safe.

"I would appreciate it if you knock next time?" Lucien said coldly.

Dean Xio on his part didn't feel offended. He glanced at the room and after a while, he turned to look Lucien in the face. For a slight moment, he was enchanted by Lucien's looks. He knew this kid looked good before but now there was some sort of alluring feeling that made him more attractive. Seeing the three new tattoos on his body, Dean Xio nodded his head in confirmation. He knew Lucien had slain three king-tier magic beasts. With their powers combined, he has enough strength to compare to other top noble families.

"I wish I could chat with you about your achievements and the way forward but it's urgent!" Dean Xio said decisively, catching Lucien's attention.

"Ooh?" Lucien said as he sat on a sofa opposite that of the dean. With only a white towel draped around his waist, it left his upper half exposed.

"I am sure you are familiar with the empire's relationship with the Libet empire because of past events" Dean Xio chose his words carefully. He was trying to imply that the situation was not Lucien's fault.

"What about it? I am pretty sure I made my stand clear with them a few hours ago" Lucien answered with a slight frown.

"Well, I guess they got the wrong message… Recently, students from the Libet empire have been attacking our Fotia academy students out on missions… Some died… many injured… I find this quite annoying" Dean Xio said.

Hearing this, Lucien's face twitched with anger but what appeared on his face was a vicious smile.

"Why hasn't the empire sent out guards to deal with them?" Lucien asked.

"Doing that may lead to war…. They too have casualties on their side but they remain silent because it's a brawl between students… I want to keep it that way and that's why I am sending you out" Dean Xio said.

"Hehehehe! Sending me out to do what?" Lucien asked coldly.

"Hunt!" Dean Xio replied immediately.
