Seeing the souls of many surging into Lucien's body, the faces of everyone turned as white as a sheet of paper! Even though they knew Lucien should be able to use the abilities of the sealed artifact but they still found it shocking and wondered how Rakuzen can do this with the body of a junior.

The souls slammed into Lucien causing him to jerk back! Purple mama circuits appeared all over his body as he fell on his feet!

The human captain knew Rakuzen had no intention of letting the humans go and this can be considered as the best opportunity of killing the beast. Her body jerked forward, leaving behind countless after-images! Her body was swift to reach enough to reach Lucien in just a single breath and with a sword surging with a white aura, the lady slashed at Lucien, aiming to decapitate him in one go!

Her face turned sour as her blade struck an ice pillar, digging deep but only stopping midway! Gazing at the source of the magic, she saw a white-haired Instructor Emma gazing at her coldly. As a knight of the Libet empire who just reached the spirit realm not too long ago, she felt proud of the moment she was given such an important task by the emperor! With her strength she hoped to bring back glory to the empire and gain the recognition of many, yet not only has the sealed artifact be stolen, but more than half of her crew has been killed as well!

"You dare stand in the way of the Libet empire? This youth is possessed and has stolen a grade 3 sealed artifact belonging to the three empires! He must be punished! I can assure you, the Libet empire will reward you greatly for your service," The lady growled.

She never expected a youth with the cultivation base of the peak of the mortal realm would be able to block her attack. Also judging based on the ice element showcased by Instructor Emma, showed that she had an in-depth understanding of the laws of her elements!

Hearing the female knight's words, Instructor Emma frowned since she knew the female knight was right but she had no plans of letting someone kill Lucien either!

"Scram!" Instructor Emma growled as she threw her hands forward, releasing a powerful wave of ice shards!

"You!" the female knight roared as she retreated while using her sword to repel all the attacks!

"Hahahahaha!" Rakuzen suddenly looked up with a vicious smile on his face and at that moment that female knight felt a shadow loom over her!

It was the Azura Serpent dragon!

The dragon dove down with its blurry figure, causing the woman to smile lightly. The Azura serpent dragon was slowly fading due to the weakened state of Rakzuen so its power was no longer at its peak! Her eyes let out a bright white glow as her blade was suddenly engulfed in white energy before she struck forward!

"Sword art: Piercing light!" The lady growled as a beam of light surged through her sword, striking the spirit beast above!

Even with her full power she still struggled against the fading Azura blue dragon making her wonder how powerful the creed outer disciples are to have gone toe to toe with this monster!

The lady spat out a mouthful of blood as her body trembled violently. Her swords fell off her hand and she felt warm liquid surging out of her abdomen. Slowly she lowered her gaze to see a blue Azura spear, deep into her body. This attack would have killed any normal person but the vitality of a spirit realm expert far surpasses that of normal warriors.

"If you kill me, the empire will have its revenge… you will die a gruesome death! Let met out… just let me go and I will push the blame to the creed! No one has to know what happened here" The woman muttered desperately making Rakuzen.

"As long as none of you survives the encounter how will they know I killed you? Who will know how you died?" Rakuzen said as snapped his fingers and the lady was set ablaze!

"Your soul is mine!" Rakuzen said as he summoned the purple suction force, pulling in her soul as well!

Instructor Emma just stood and watched as Rakuzen killed everyone else and consumed their souls as well, leaving behind empty husks!

Alucard and the rest appeared at the center of the Talis village again. With the Drakon experts close by, they couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. They expected these beast-men would turn on them and harm them while the instructor and Rakuzen are away but to their greatest surprise, the people of the Drakon empire just shot them a glance and walked away without saying a word. With the sealed artifact absorbed by Lucien, they had no way of stealing it, and killing him may just cost some friction between their two empires without then benefitting anything?

Was a Grade 3 sealed artifact worth the lives of thousands who will die when both sides clash in war?

With the Beast-men gone, only then did Alucard, Chenoa, Titan, and Lucy calm down. After waiting barely five minutes, Rakuzen appeared with instructor Emma standing behind him. With everyone else dead, the spatial gate leading to the dungeon vanished entirely and since the human team didn't make it out, they guessed Lucien killed them all.

At this moment Lucien's body was brimming with power and purple mana could be visibly seen surging through his veins! His eyes kept up releasing blinding purple lights as he turned his attention to Chenoa.

"Lord Rakuzen!" Chenoa bowed hurriedly the moment she noticed Lucien's gaze

"Return to your village… tell them that It has been done… I have avenged them… stay there, when the time comes… My successor will come to look for you" Rakuzen said calmly.

Chenoa bit her lips as she reluctantly backed away before dashing into the bush ahead. Everyone had heard Rakuzen's words, making them wonder about Rakuzen's real identity. Did grade 1 sealed artifacts carry along with the soul of powerful beings of the past? Maybe he is the creator of the sealed artifact.

Well, all of that didn't matter since Lucien was in deep trouble for his actions.

"You put him in a lot of trouble… He may even be executed!" Instructor Emma looked at Rakuzen with so much hate it looked like she wanted to pull him out of Lucien's body and give him a sound beating.

"He won't die…" Rakuzen said nonchalantly as he poured his mana into the soul seal placed on him by the emperor and instructor Han.

Hearing his words baffled many, they saw his strength and they had to confess its extremely powerful amongst spirit realm masters but the emperor is at the Champion realm! Even if he can beat the emperor, he can't go against an entire empire alone! His death is certain!

"Why do you say so?" Instructor Emma asked but at that moment the space around them tore and a spatial gate appeared right in front of them.

From it Emperor Fei and Instructor Han appeared, just as people were stunned to see them, they were also stunned to see Lucien in this state.

"Who are you?" Emperor Fei's eyes narrowed as his aura slowly began surging like an endless ocean, terrifying and powerful but when faced with this Rakuzen only chuckled in disdain.

"You are not qualified to know my name!" Rakuzen answered with a hint of disdain in his eyes!

After Lucien's return, Instructor Emma quickly explained the situation, giving them a detailed explanation of everything that happened in the expedition stunning not only the emperor but the entire empire as well. Rakuzen quickly relinquished control over Lucien's body after they returned, leaving him in a near-death condition.

Unwilling to let Lucien die and have him face trial for his crimes against the empire many human nobles were eager to provide precious recovery materials just to make sure Lucien survives. For four months Lucien was bedridden and on the fifth month he regained consciousness but his body was far from recovering.

In his dire condition, Lucien was thrown into the dungeons and their people waited for his body to heal naturally they awaited the day he would be strong enough to stand on his feet and face trial!

A year has passed by and deep within a dungeon located in the Royal palace, a youth sat in a cross-legged position. His silver hair reached his waist and his body seemed buffed and well built for someone who has been kept underground for a year.

His eyes were covered with some sort of metal ring draped around his face and his back was pierced with numerous chains binding him to the cold walls of the dungeon!
