Chapter 94: Chapter 93:A new partner

"Ooh?" Rakuzen raised an eyebrow as he watched the magic beast smash through his wind palm with its stony fist.

His eyes revealed his surprises and disappointment. If he were in a slightly stronger body, he may not need to expend much effort in suppressing this magic beast. A flick of his fingers will be enough to reduce this be as to a bloody paste. For a mighty being to be reduced to this level, he couldn't help but feel annoyed… slightly.

Meanwhile, the king-level magic beast observed the thirteen-year-old youth even more cautiously. At the king level, its intelligence far surpassed that of an average man and sometimes it could be considered on par with that of those called genius. It knew of the elemental manifestation and it was a hundred and twenty percent sure that someone as little as Lucien shouldn't be able to do this unless he is some sort of prodigy that appears only once in a million years.

Gazing at Lucien, it could tell Lucien had a good foundation in both physical and spiritual cultivation! Something unheard of in ages! Behind Lucien it could vaguely feel the aura of a primordial beast, if it were shut its eyes and only use its enhanced sensory skills to name identify Lucien, this beast would definitely call him a monster! With it, its eyes open it could only gaze at the little monster in human clothing.

"Maybe if you came here two or three years from now, I will have no choice but to beg for my life! But right now, you are not my opponent!" Rupture growled viciously as it slammed its fist on the ground.

The ground shook violently as countless earth spikes shot out of the ground, shooting towards Lucien!

"Haya-Ken third form; Wind trail!" Rakuzen growled as his body shot forward fearlessly!

His movements were strange but graceful. He moved so effectively, he always evaded the earth spikes at the critical moments making one thing he would get hit. Seeing Rakuzen move like that, Chenoa realized the old monster was standing on his toes while approaching the enemy.

In just a few seconds he had covered at least a hundred meters worth of distance, drastically reducing the gap between him and king-level magic beast.

"Human scum!" Rupture growled viciously as it saw the human maneuver through the earth spikes shooting out from below. 

Slamming the ground with its fist once again, the entire floor, three hundred to five hundred meters around it was filled with earth spikes so clustered there was no opening even for a newborn baby! The earth spikes were at least 30 meters high, yet to its greatest surprise, Lucien was seen standing at the top of an earth spike with his toe and perfectly balanced at that!

His Face seemed at peace and his focus impeccable! Looking at Lucien one would think he had complete confidence of beating the enemy! Gazing at Lucien above, the king-level magic beast showed no signs of anger, instead, it was rather amused by the short display of skills. As a king-level beast that has existed for quite a while, it has taken on foes faster than Lucien yet it didn't know why it was more captivated by Lucien's movements.

"You are not human… Neither are you mixed blood trash… You are something greater, living in the body of this useless kid" Rupture said calmly but even though its tone was lowered, it was still enough to make the entire cave tremble.

Chenoa is yet to face a king-level magic beast, so she didn't know the full extent of its power. With the little she has seen so far, she was disappointed but this didn't stop her from acknowledging the fact that these two were only joking around with each other. She never thought a day would come where she will be forced to experience something this crazy.

Both of them are crazy!

The earth spikes sank into the ground and Lucien dropped gracefully from above, hitting the ground without making a sound... He walked towards the magic beast quietly and only when there was a five-meter gap between them did he stop.

"To be able to tell I am not the owner of this body is no small achievement even for a mere king Bess creator!" Rakuzen praised as his eyes release a blue flash.

[Gaze of the emperor activated!]

Upon use, the magic beast found itself in a dark world, in there it saw the blazing large draconic blue eyes gazing at it as if it were an ant. Besides the blazing blue eyes was Lucien gazing at the magic beast with a frown on his face. He may have been afraid of this magic beast but he would not let anyone disrespect him and walk away easily. The fact he couldn't harm this magic beast infuriated him so much that he felt like vomiting blood due to anger.

In this dark world, the Rupture shrank back as he dared not look the blazing blue eyes directly. It feared it would enrage this mythical beast and end up dying without a chance to resist. In this dark world, it sensed that the blue beast hiding in the shadow is the sole god. The fact that it was drawn in here without giving him a chance to resist meant that whatever dragged him here can also kill it as well.

It turned its gaze to the silver-haired standing beside the blazing blue eyes he could see the anger directed towards it. On a normal day, it would tear this human into bits in a second yet since the blue beast was backing it, this magic beast and the king level had no choice but to lower his head in shame.

"You are right about me taking over the body of this child but you are wrong when you claimed my host his useless….apologize…." Rakuzen said calmly revealing his sharp row of teeth!

"I-I apologize…" Rupture shuddered in fear and sank back.

"Good… I and my subordinates seek passage… I hope you will grant us this request!" Rakuzen's words sounded like no request but a threat. Even Lucien couldn't help but shoot a glance at the blazing blue eyes by his side. He had never seen this part of Rakuzen and considering the condition of the former celestial being, Lucien doubted it had the strength to crush the magic beast.

"I shall do as you say but I have a request, my lord!" The magic beast said timidly while trying not to launch occasional glances at the blue eyes but it couldn't help but peek.

"Speak" Rakuzen said lightly but his voice still echoed across the darkroom.

"I wish to leave this place… I have been held down here for too long without hope of redemption… unable to further my cultivation" Rupture said calmly.

Listening to his request Rakuzen calmed down. It used its identity as a terrifying existence to fool this magic beast into believing it stood no chance against him. If he were to face Rakuzen head-on, the former celestial being will have to rely on the help of others to win but even then it will most likely be at a cost. But Rakuzen was assured of victory and that's why he fearlessly approached the enemy.

Now he has a chance of winning without fighting why won't he jump at it? Although he would have loved to let Lucien absorb the beast essence of the magic beasts around, he still needed some strength to face the members of the creed when he encounters them.

As to the magic beast's request, it is something that can be easily resolved. As someone with contractor path knowledge, if the magic beast should decide to sign a soul pact contract with Lucien, it can be summoned when they leave this place. He may not be able to give Lucien the beast essence of a king-level magic beast but it can give him a capable partner totally different from the flame pup Lucien has.

"If that's the case, sign a soul binding contract with my host… Become his partner and when we are done…. We will pull you out of this place" Rakuzen said.

Hearing this, Rupture was a bit disappointed, it hoped the mighty beast would be able to just send him out directly since it had no interest in signing a contract with a half-blood like Lucien! Both sides bore great hatred for themselves and Rakuzen was the only reason they are yet to start tearing each other apart!

But thinking back on the offer once again, Rupture couldn't help but feel its beneficial. Having the half-blood as a partner also means he's indirectly working for the mighty magic beast whose cultivation level is unfathomable by the Rupture. Should he serve the useless half-blood well, he might at least be able to reap a few benefits from this blue-eyed beast! With its guidance, breaking into the emperor level shouldn't be much of a problem!
