A Mid tier king-level magic beast, Rupture!

Who the hell is Rakuzen to write such a beast off so easily? Has he forgotten that he is only using Lucien's body and as long as Lucien is concerned his body is not ready to take on a king-tier magic beast, regardless of its bloodline, whether weak, strong, or just mild. Lucien knew his current body capabilities and something told him that even if he were to go overboard by combining the strengths of all three magic beasts he still won't be able to face this magic beast.

In his opinion, the strength between the mortal realm and the spirit realm is so wide and vast and that applies to magic beasts as well! At the king level, the magic beast has far surpassed the realm of mortals and has taken a bold step into the realm of the god beasts. Its comprehension of the laws of nature has deepened and its control over the elements has strengthened greatly. It has practically become one with the element!

Putting this into consideration, Lucien also tried to acknowledge the magic beast he is about to fight and the location. According to Rakuzen, it should be a King tier magic beats known as rupture! If he remembers clearly, the earth magic beast rupture is the king tier version of the god beats known as Drax. 

The Drax clan is one of the noble magic beast families in the Fotia empire so it was natural for Lucien to study more about them. The king-tier magic beast, Rupture is well known for its defensive and offensive abilities. These magic beasts overwhelm the enemy with their superior strength and breakthrough all attacks thrown at it with its rock body which is even more durable than steel!

While many know that the magic beast is lacking speed, it makes up for its lack of speed its control over the fire and earth element. After breaking into the king tier level, the magic beast's understanding of the laws of nature increases exponentially and with knowledge, it combines its earth and fire element to create a new element, lava!

The cave may be spacious but not big enough! Approaching the magic beast in a place like this is equivalent to throwing away your life, that's why everyone who passed through this place has died!

'You sure think a lot before entering battle… I can see you lack confidence in your strength…' Rakuzen said calmly in his mind. Making Lucien almost vomit blood out of anger!

[No, I do believe in my strength I just believe it's wise to evaluate an enemy's strength before jumping in… for safety reasons] Lucien struggled to say those words calmly. He felt like jumping out of his body and battling Rakuzen till the better end.

Rakuzen laughed cheerfully in his mind upon feeling Lucien's chaotic emotions. In his mind, this is an opportunity for him to show Lucien what his body is capable of and also acquire him the beast essence of a king-tier magic beast! As for the strength of the magic beast, Rakuzen refused to bother himself with it. In his opinion, he is the reincarnation of a celestial being in the body of a talented beats man. As long as the bloodline of the magic beast is not top tier he will not lose so easily.

The team kept moving deeper and along the way they met earth spikes with bodies hung on them. Judging based on the attire of the dead, Rakuzen and instructor Emma concluded that these people are members of a small faction trying to get their hands on the grade 3 sealed artifact in hopes of increasing their strength permanently!

"Fools…" Rakuzen scoffed as they finally reached what looked like a narrow passageway in the cave leading to another room ahead. A fresh stench of blood and roasted flesh could be perceived at the other side of the room, making them believe that the magic beast should be in there. Upon arrival, Instructor Emma's face turned sour as she gazed at the narrow passageway with a frown on her face. The scout of the team, Lucy also turned pale in fear the moment they arrived. Her lips quivered terribly as she managed to say the words after a long while,

"A king level magic beast! There is a king tier magic beast in there!" Lucy screamed in fear.

Hearing this the faces of Alucard and titan turned pale as they instinctively took a step back! The only reason they were yet to turn around and make a run for it is that there was no way out of the dungeon. After entering the teleportation portal, there was no teleportation platform left behind. The only way out is to reach the very end of the dungeon and that's probably why those killed by the magic beast decided to fight a king tier magic beast!

There is no way back! They can only move forward…

"You guys stay back… Emma and Chenoa will help me bring down the enemy" Rakuzen said casually as he summoned Habakiri with an indifferent look on his face.

"Prepare yourselves… calm your minds… Alucard, Lucy, and Titan are not allowed in here… I suggest you go a bit farther from where and join hands to conjure the strongest barrier you can muster…. Stay there until we get out a meet you… As for Emma, calm your mind and prepare yourself... Your ice element will be key to our success…. We are waiting… Come with me Chenoa" Rakuzen said as he walked forward 

Chenoa nodded and followed him fearlessly, leaving the other four behind, wondering what happened to Lucien and why he has suddenly become so brave yet so cold. He spoke like someone who could defeat even the strongest experts in the world, such absolute confidence that can only be nurtured by surviving countless battles and killing many.

"Status" Lucien said without caring about those around.

"This should barely do…" Rakzuen said calmly as he and Chenoa walked through the passageway and into the room.

Upon arrival, he met three dead bodies in there and a powerful magic beast in the center of the room, but even then Rakuzen didn't give the magic beast a glance. He turned his attention to the environment and saw a massive circular room the shape of a huge dome. The entire room was at least twice the size of a football field, enough space for Rakuzen to maneuver through attacks. 

Seeing this he nodded in approval before turning his attention to the king tier beast and just like he predicted it was the Rupture. It was like a massive rock gorilla with blazing red eyes and lava flowing through its body. Gazing at the countless deep lines carved on its body one could see the lava flowing within it constantly.

Hmph!

Gazing at this, Rakuzen scoffed asked Chenoa to wait there while he boldly began walking towards the magic beast. At the king level, magic beasts have gained some level of intelligence, allowing them to become even smarter than the average human.

"A beast man approaches… Tainted beings made of the unholy relationship between god beasts and feeble human females..." 

PA!

"Disgraceful and disgusting!"  Rupture said while spitting out lava in disgust while it spoke. Its voice was deep and loud making the ground tremble as it spoke!

The power of a king tier beast!

It refused to approach Lucien or attack him, he just watched as Lucien approached calmly while listening to its words.

"A mere monkey dares speak down on a higher being like myself… I feel insulted… Apologize!" Rakuzen said calmly while walking forward.

Hearing the word 'monkey' Rupture frowned but it didn't lash out immediately. It silently observed Lucien who was still some distance away from it. It could tell Lucien's cultivation was lower than its own but the confidence in Lucien's words and actions made it hesitant.

It couldn't tell if Lucien was just joking around and overestimating himself or he may have some sort of trump card that will allow him to surpass it. Apart from those two reasons, the magic beast couldn't find a legit reason for Lucien to dare challenge it.

"STUPID CHILD… SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO!" The magic beast growled as it released a stream of lava from his mouth!

"You lack the ability to harm me!" Rakuzen growled as he threw a palm forward, releasing a powerful wind palm to meet the attack head on!

The wind palm struck the lava pushing it back, all the way to the rupture! 

Bang!

The Rupture struck out with its rocky fist, shattering the wind palm effortlessly!
