Chapter 71: Habakiri

Name:My beast Emperor System Author:Riviz
Listening to his reply a vicious grin bloomed on the face of the emperor as he felt his blood boil. As someone who has ruled for over five centuries, the emperor has always wished to be confronted by capable challengers who can force him to push himself to his limit and beyond. He needed rivals amongst his people who would make him work harder than usual and give him a reason to cultivate more but that has never happened until now.

"Good, good… You can have it but I wish to witness you forge the magic weapon now… after that, we can then have a look at your second request afterward" Emperor Fei said calmly and Lucien nodded in agreement.

The trio went ahead to teleport to the royal forgemaster hall, having in it numerous forging tables of high quality! Without wasting much time, Lucien moved towards a forging table and picked up a carving knife. Using the magic forgemaster tool, a name was inscribed on the black hilt, spelling out the name Habakiri boldly.

"Let us begin first!" Lucien muttered as he began carving his strange triangular forging symbol on the forging table.

Just like before it was a mighty triangle at the center with many mana circuits to allow the mana flow properly and then three other minor triangles at the edges of the main triangle! The emperor watched him carve some strange symbols in an ancient language that they couldn't understand and finally, the eye symbol was carved into the center of all four triangles.

"La-tu…Es-F-or-mash" Lucien spoke words they couldn't understand, causing his eyes to flare up with powers alongside the formation set.

Without wasting much time, Lucien placed the black hilt on the center of the formation, and on the two lesser triangles, the wind and Lightning element appeared but on the third, something different appeared. They were the miniature version of the nightmare demon, The hell hound, and finally the Raizen god beast.

Xiu!

Just like before when he started forging, Lucien felt darkness loom over him and from the darkness a pair of scaly blue eyes yanked open while gazing down on him. He instinctively left what he was doing for the time being and turned around to meet the gaze of this creature. Both of them locked eyes for only a few seconds before the being shut its eyes and merging with the darkness again.

His actions were something the emperor and Instructor Han found strange but they were too busy studying the formation that they didn't have time to ask what was going on.

"And for the final part…" Lucien muttered as he tapped the hilt lightly and used his mana to carve mana circuits within the hilt and a mana core. This is to make the weapon accept foreign mana that can help boost the efficiency of its abilities.

"Merge" Lucien muttered lightly as he watched all the power flow towards the hilt, releasing a bright rainbow color light so bright that the black hilt cannot be seen

"Sure enough forging a mid-tier magic weapon consumes quite a lot of energy" Lucien lampooned as he felt light-headed.

He turned his attention to the emperor and Instructor Han who has been silent since and shot them a sweet smile before saying.

"If you are willing, we can go test it out now" He said with a slightly pale face.

The emperor and Instructor Han shot each other a glance since they didn't know how to respond. The entire forging process is just too foreign for them to learn anything and something told them that if they should just replicate Lucien's actions that they will fail to create a powerful magic weapon just like he did.

With no choice, they agreed to his offer and the trio was teleported to the training grounds located at the edge of the royal castle. There Lucien stood face to face with instructor Han while the emperor watched from the side with great anticipation in his eyes.

"Burn!" Lucien's eyes turned scorching orange color as a flaming orange whip formed out of nowhere.

Instead of directing the attack at instructor Han, Lucien lashed out on one of the dummies on the field, purposefully, barely grazing it. This action left the emperor and Instructor Han confused but then they saw a glowing orange light where the fire whip hit. It kept glowing brighter and even brighter until it exploded violently!

BOOM!

The dummy exploded, leaving chills running down instructor Han's spine as he couldn't help but imagine if he was hit by this attack. Without any form of defense, his weak body will be ripped apart by the explosion. Turning his attention to those around, Lucien revealed a charming smile as he let the habakiri fall into his omini pocket zone.

"That is just the main ability of the fire element when using the habakiri… there are more to it but I don't plan to show" Lucien said making the two elders curse him from the depths of their hearts.

"As we agreed… I successfully forged a magic weapon at the same level as that of family heirlooms… Now for my second request…" Lucien said calmly and slowly.

"I need your permission to leave the empire for a week, I should be back before school resumes" Lucien added after a short while.

Listening to the strange request, the emperor and Instructor Han were stunned. They couldn't help but wonder what Lucien had in mind or the reason for him to try and leave the empire. Soon they began thinking of him getting invited to another empire secretly but ruled out the thought since they believed if a spy could get in, they can also get out. Countless possibilities flashed through their minds for a few seconds.

"Stop! I can't do this anymore! It's not healthy…" Instructor Han said.

"Why don't we just ask him, instead of letting our imagination run wild?" Instructor Han added.

"Why do you want to leave for a week?" Emperor Fei calmed down and asked.

"Have you heard of the Talis village just north of the empire?" Lucien asked lightly.

Hearing his response, the emperor calmed down as he finally understood why Lucien wanted to leave.

'He is already making plans for his future… Trying to gather as many sealed artifacts as possible? This kid is interesting' The emperor thought.

"It's too dangerous… It is said that the sealed artifact there should be a grade four or grade three sealed artifact… while it may not be enough to attract the attention of large forces, it is enough to gain the attention of local gangs and minor clans trying to improve their strength! You cannot go!" Instructor Han said with a stern look on his face.

BOOM!

Lucien's eyes flared up with various colors as the images of the Raizen god beast, the general level hell hound, and the general level nightmare demon, appearing all at once above his head. Aura of various colors exploded from his body creating a mild shockwave that made the clothes of everyone present flutter. They watched as Lucien grew a pair of silver wings on his back with the claws of the hell hound and little clusters of darkness gathering around him thanks to the power of the nightmare demon.

"I am not weak" Lucien said with a stern look on his face.

"You heard him… he's not weak" Emperor Fei said with an excited grin on his face.

In his opinion, Judging Lucien's strength, he sincerely felt like Lucien should be able to defeat any average second-year student. He sincerely felt that Lucien has a chance of survival and he was pretty sure this journey will help improve his strength and his wealth of experience as well.

"I will let you go two conditions…" The emperor said calmly.

"What?" Lucien expected something like so he wasn't too shocked.

He deactivated his abilities and let his aura settle down before reply with an indifferent look on his face. He could only hope the emperor's condition is not too tasking.

"First of all… You will let me put a soul-seeking seal on you… That way you can alert me if you are in trouble by sending your mana into the seal" The emperor said calmly.

"Deal…" Lucien agreed instantly. He planned on asking for a way of contacting them before he left since he was aware of the dangers of traveling this far as well.
