Spinning fiercely the massive wheel of flames descended from above lol a meteorite! It was obvious Lucien didn't plan on giving the magic beast the chance to reactivate its shadow cloak!

[THE NIGHTMARE HAS ACTIVATED SHADOW STORM!]

Just before the blazing flame wheel could reach the nightmare, it let out a furious cry and a powerful shadow storm exploded from its body, clashing with the flame wheel.

The ground beneath the nightmare's feet shattered and sank as a powerful shockwave exploded, sending Kyle Ligthborn rolling back violently.

The two powerful forces kept clashing since no side refused to retreat, forcing the ground to sink even deeper!

"This is not a fight between a student and a magic beast, this is a fight between two general-level magic beasts!" Williams said with a frown on his face as he watched the flames and shadow clashing violently.

"Who the hell is that?" Alice said as she felt her heart flutter while watching the intense battle. Her family has been the type that prioritizes strength over everything and on this very day she was opportune to witness the battle of someone who is arguably the most powerful student of their set. All she needed to know now was his identity since she didn't care if it's a human or a beast-man, she is determined to conquer this person and make him hers.

"I believe this person is the Infamous Lucien Raizen!" Kyle said as he walked over to their side while patting off the dust on his clothes. While others may not have seen Lucien properly since he has been moving throughout the battle, Kyle who was the person opportuned to see him up close instantly recognized him!

He's practically a celebrity!

"Lucien?" Both Alice and William said with a hint of surprise in their voices.

The Lucien Raizen they could remember was the incredibly handsome youth who always wore a silver kimono that complimented his silver hair and eyes that could make the lady's heart skip a beat. He showcased extraordinary talent just days after the session started and he even clashed with the invaders on two different occasions. For a short, while he lost his abilities and his position as the heir of the Raizen clan after kill the two prodigies of the clan, Layla and Raziel.

Suddenly he regained his powers and everyone expected him to join a faction but even then he didn't and chose to continue depending on no one but himself. Considering the fact that any noble family, both humans, and beast-men will be willing to have him and he still refuses is something they considered stupid. They all assumed that his growth will be stunted, eventually falling behind especially since he has no means of acquiring cultivation resources.

"Were we wrong?" Alice muttered as she watched the two intense powers clash. She felt disappointed and elated that Lucien is the one here. In her opinion, it would be a big hit for her family if she is able to seduce Lucien into joining their noble family.

"But isn't he supposed to have just the blessingof the Raizen god beast… Isn't he supposed to have just the wind and lightning element?" William asked with a great level of discomfort visible in his facial expression. It was obvious he hated the fact that a prodigy like himself is completely inferior to a beast-man who was rejected by his own people.

Lucien was sent flying backward by the shockwave caused by their earlier attacks. Landing on his feet, he clasped his hands while sliding backward and watching the nightmare dash towards him like a mindless beast.

"Don't you dare look down on me!" Lucien growled as his eyes let out a bright glow and a three-fold star pattern appeared beneath his feet.

"A Tier three spell!" Alice, Kyle, and William screamed in shock the moment they saw the threefold star patterns.

This trio were no strangers to magic tiers and since they were born into magical noble families, their understanding of the magical world I considered vast and terrifying for people their age. Even without seeing the spell, they instantly knew that Lucien was about to cast a tier-three spell! Something that has never been done by anyone their age.

"Tier 3 wind magic; Hurricane!" Lucien growled as he summoned a massive hurricane around the approaching magic beast, successfully pulling it off the ground and throwing it into the air.

The size of the spell was so massive that even those at the foot of the hill could see the massive hurricane spinning violently! In a bid not to get caught by the attack, Williams and other members of his Lightborn family hastily retreated while watching Lucien jump into the hurricane fearlessly!

Stepping into the mighty hurricane, Lucien was not affected by its effects due to the fact that this spell was created by his mana, His eyes let out a silver glow as he watched the nightmare creature struggle fiercely within the hurricane and a senile smile appeared on his face.

"I can only say your bloodline is stronger than that of the hell hound, that's probably why you can struggle against a tier-three spell this much, but this is where it ends!" Lucien said as his eyes let out a silver flash and the Raizen god beast image appeared behind him.

[The shift activated]

A pair of mighty silver eagle wings sprouted from his back and he instant launched into the air, flying towards the nightmare magic beast.

"That's more than enough!" Lucien growled as his hands were covered with fire, darkness, and lighting aura!

Seeing the approaching human, the nightmare magic beast seemed more annoyed than afraid. Mustering as much energy as it could, it covered itself in darkness aura before diving towards Lucien!

The entire hill trembled as both sides clashed repeatedly within the powerful hurricane. The power exuding from these two combatants was so much that Lightborn family members were forced to run down the hill in a bid not to get caught in the battle between these two monsters. Meanwhile, those at the foot of the hill watched in awe as the bright orange and silver light within the hurricane clashed countless times with the black light. With each hit, they created massive shockwaves that sent chills down the spine of all those who watched.

"This looks like a battle between monsters!" Susie muttered as she gripped her chest while gazing at the three youths hidden in a golden sphere and standing atop a two-meter-long golden sword, sliding down the hill.

"Only the instructors can casually reveal this level of strength… For someone his age to reach this level, it's really amazing" Logan said dully while watching the battle.

"He wasn't joking when he said he gets stronger with each battle… At this rate he may even be qualified to compete for the throne and become the new beast emperor" Lenard added.

Hex frowned upon hearing the last part but he chose to suppress his emotions and focus on the battle going on. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of battle was going on inside the hurricane!

Lucien felt his hands going numb the moment he collided with the nightmare creature. Its shadow was quickly spreading, all over the hurricane successfully blocking Lucien's sight to a certain extent!

"You think you can have your way in here? This is my magic! In here I am a god!" Lucien growled as he clasped hands together!

Suddenly the hurricane began expanding while getting fiercer! The darkness within the hurricane began to spread, becoming scarce and revealing the Nightmare's location. With the nightmare creature in sight, Lucien's eyes widened while revealing a blue light as black clouds began gathering above the hurricane.

The loud bell-like sounds caught the attention of the fleeing Lightborns, forcing them to turn their attention to the threefold star pattern formed on the black clouds above!

"Another tier-three spell?" Alice screamed in disbelief!

"This guy must be a monster!" William cried out while Kyle just watched silently.

Hex, Brian, Lenard, Logan, and Susie were already used to this so they were not too surprised but that didn't mean they weren't enduring so many emotions.

Suddenly a figure landed beside them, catching them by surprise, it was a person they never thought they would see in a week or so. No, it wasn't just a person but a group of people! It was the dean Fei Xio and the other instructors standing behind him. The dean gazed at the corpses of students littered all over the place. Their gaze shifted the golden trio from the Lightborn family approaching before shifting to the massive hurricane at the top of the hill.

"Who?" The Dean asked.

"Lucien and the general level Nightmare demon!" Hex responded with a respectful bow!
