Seeing his new stat information, Lucien couldn't help but frown. He soon realized that the experience points needed to level up kept doubling at this point, making it harder to reach higher levels. He would have loved to ask the system if there are new ways of getting experience points, but that had to wait. With no time to waste, Lucien focused his gaze on his strength stat and suddenly the same warm feeling befell him once again as he felt his muscles bulging.

Gazing at his new stat, a confident smile appeared on Lucien's face as he casually began walking forward, with his cold gaze pinned at one person.

Lucas Raizen!

"Lucas… You can keep your puny compensation and for your sake, I pray no one from this pitiful clan dares cross my path… I won't want to commit genocide at such a tender age" Lucien said before turning his attention to Emperor Fei.

"I believe my actions and contributions to the empire are worth something at the very least… I have aided this empire twice in dealing with invaders so I should at least be granted one wish" Lucien said casually, without a hint of emotion in his face or tone.

Silently gazing at him for a while, Emperor Fei didn't know how to react to this request. He was afraid that Lucien would be so bitter-hearted that he would ask for the entire Raizen clan to be wiped out or something of that nature so he was a bit hesitant to agree. But after gazing into Lucien's eyes only to realize that there was no rage in it, just calmness and indifference, he couldn't help but smile.

'You have grown a lot in the past week, Lil emperor'

"Since you wish to disown the Raizen family, I guess it's only right for me to call you by your first name… Lucien, you have aided this empire twice and on those two occasions, you have incurred life-threatening wounds… The final act to protect the empire from the invaders, you slaughtered nine invaders all alone and this left you in a bad condition and almost crippled your cultivation… I believe the least the empire can do as a sign of gratitude is grant you two wishes… As long as it's within my power I will do it… Personally" Emperor Fei said casually.

Hearing this, there was silence in the entire hall. No one expected the emperor to be this generous to an outsider, up to the point where he will personally carry out his wishes. Already the elders of the Raizen clan couldn't help but feel like they made a grave mistake, abandoning Lucien in his greatest hour of need. 

His injuries almost crippled his cultivation meaning there is still a chance of recovery for him. They could have just kept him close and focused on others while finding a way to help him recover.  If they did that since the emperor is willing to grant Lucien two wishes it was no different from the empire owing the Raizen clan two wishes!

Do you know how much can be accomplished with just two wishes?!

"You impudent child! Do you dare speak to me in that manner? Even outsiders dare not speak to me that way! Other noble family heads give me the respect I deserve, yet a child with no magic, no future dares to talk down at me?" Lucas suddenly stood on his feet and roared!

Emperor Fei sat and watched with a smile on his face. Since he has already acknowledged Lucien as someone the empire owes a favor he was sure the Raizen clan head will give him face and not harm Lucien… At least not directly.

"Hehehehe! A child with no magic and future? It's ironic that the child is standing right in front of you and the almighty Raizen clan head can't lay a finger on him… You are either too weak, afraid or you must be lacking the balls to face me… Whatever it is, I don't have to concern myself it since you are only a minor character… When I return, I will take this clan and make it my plaything... not through the favor the empire owes me but with my own strength!" Lucien's words were filled with so much venom that the Raizen clan head could literarily feel his heart aching.

His face turned red in anger, threatening to explode anytime soon but his fear for the emperor who has lived long enough to see his grandparents still look young was far greater than his hatred for Lucien. He was about to speak but Lucien had already turned his back, walking out on the entire council.

"YOU DARE TURN YOUR BACK ON OUR CLAN HEAD!"

"YOU DARE DISRESPECT THE RAIZEN CLAN IN THAT MANNER, YOU MUST BE TIRED OF LEAVING!" 

Two familiar voices reached Lucien's ears causing him to reveal a devilish grin!
