Chapter 198: A one sides beat down!

Lucien's final words left many emotional but it was enough to move the hearts of his army. Both his army and that of the other clan heads were affected by his words, leaving the entire army in a pumped condition! They were all eager to return to the empire and await Lucien's return.

"To think that kid would have this much effect on so many people... Even I can't deny it anymore, the empire needs an emperor and I can only say that Lucien is the best candidate" Klaus said calmly.

"I agree that the empire needs a symbol of strength... An emperor to unify our forces and that's why the coup happened.. the emperor had become so dormant it was difficult to tell if he still had ambitions... The emperor Fei we killed is not the same man we swore to serve... He was no different from a sharp sword that turned blunt, making him unable to use" Vlad finally opened up on what he felt.

Listening to him, Klaus may hate this man but he couldn't doubt the man's integrity! Vlad has always been the silent, yet calculative type that observed for a while before acting. He never did things impulsively, neither did he do this without considering so many options. So when forced to have a conversation with this man, Klaus always took it seriously!

"The blunt blade can always be sharpened... There was no need to break it and discard it!" Klaus responded with a frown.

"Not when you see a sharper blade! You see, when I asked to become Lucien's subordinate, just hours before the coup I wasn't joking neither did I carry any ill intentions... I joined in this coup to usher in a new power... one with so much fire burning within him, this continent will not be enough to satisfy his hunger! when this is all over... If Lucien survives, he has my support... I will make him emperor" Vlad said with the usual dull face.

Hearing this from Vlad's mouth, Klaus sighed. He never knew what this man was thinking but he also knew that Vlad has never been the type to lie. So he could only believe his words and work towards helping Lucien take the throne.

Lucien could feel an unknown power surging through his body. He felt his rage getting fueled by an unknown force, clouding his vision and his thinking making Lucien worried. While this is a good thing for his undying army of beast assimilations, it can be considered a bad thing for him in a one versus one deathmatch. Unable to think clearly when facing a more powerful foe like this man can lead to his untimely death but Lucien knew the power boost is necessary for him to win.

"Kasir!" Lucien said as his gray aura shot out of his body before taking the form of the eight-legged king-tier spider.

Countless web nets shot around the battlefield and unlike what anyone would expect, this massive net of web is purely made out of its aura, making it difficult to tear.

Lucien stood in the web threads and slowly began approaching the enemy. The entrance to the anomaly may be invisible but it didn't mean it isn't there. Surrounding the entire battlefield with these spider webs, Lucien was assured of one thing! Once the anomaly entrance gets close enough, he will be alerted.

Seeing the confident look on Lucien's face the champion realm expert was enraged. His main goal was to bring Lucien back alive, yet this kid dare look down on his time and time again! All because he decided to hold back and let things play out the normal way!

"You overestimate yourself! Kid!" The man roared as he clasped his hands and suddenly the gate leading to the anomaly appeared behind Lucien!

"Do you think you would last a second if I want you dead? You dare play the hero in my presence? Cocky piece of shit!" The bald champion realm master growled as he struck forward and a powerful force knocked Lucien into the anomaly not even giving him the Chance to struggle!

Lucien found himself in a deserted world filled with only sand but unlike an actual desert, the ground split at so many points, leading Lucien to believe that this place has suffered from repeated fissure assaults!

He felt like his link to his beast assimilations had been severed, leaving him with only his Azure mode active.

"To think you can maintain that form in this world... You are truly special but this is where it ends!" The clouds gathered and took the shape of the bald man's face.

Saying this from the split parts of the ground a massive yellow spirit beast serpent shot out and lunged towards Lucien!

"Not enough!" Lucien growled as he summoned the azure dragon spear into his hand and struck forward, creating a massive whirlpool of blue flames! His attack created powerful shockwaves as if formed some sort of firewall preventing the enemy from reaching him! But that was not all!

Rumble!

Lucien could feel the ground tremble and when he turned around to see, he realized these were a pack of rhino-like spirit beasts charging towards him. Without the power of the mighty phoenix, Lucien had no way of defending himself so he knew he couldn't act recklessly!

Huff!

Lucien left the spear to hold the snake back while he focused on the rhino's heading he was. His eyes released a powerful blue light as his neck expanded and his body slid back a bit.

Azure dragon ROAR!!!!

Lucien let out an inhuman roar, releasing a powerful beam of blue flames, smashing into the charging rhinos!

Booom!!!

Even with the attack, the rhinos kept charging forward while Lucien continued spitting out the beam of blue dragon flames! He could feel his body getting pushed back by the combined strengths of the rhino's causing him to frown. While he simultaneously struggled with the two foes he noticed more gigantic spirit beasts he had never seen before popping up from nowhere!
