Chapter 197: Resolve to win! [Bonus Chapter]

Lucien gazed at the enemy and knew things were about to get serious. Spirit beast cultivators at the spirit realm do not gain any martial techniques, instead, they gain a few skills with their spirit beasts making things a bit easier since he wasn't expecting strange or mystical technique but even then he didn't look down on the enemy in front of him!

Lucien was no fool, neither did he truly believe that he lasted this long just because he was strong enough. The fact remains that the creed wants him alive and that is why this man is yet to crush him entirely. But Lucien has never been the gracious type to let an opportunity like this slide especially in a critical moment like this! 

"Get back! Take everyone and leave… I will keep there for as long as possible… Don't worry I will be joining you guys soon" Lucien screamed the moment he felt Klaus and Vlad's aura shooting towards his position.

They were finally coming to aid him but he knew that, apart from him, this champion realm master will not hesitate to one-shot any of these people and kill them brutally, so he decided to take this opportunity and make sure everyone escaped safely!

"What?" Klaus muttered as he stopped in his tracks with Vlad and gazed at Lucien's back with a frown on his face.

As one of the leading family heads of the Fotia empire, Klaus has never fled from an opponent, neither has he ever watched a young teenager fight his battles! But right now he knew he could not compare to Lucien in his Azure mode so getting involved will most likely hinder him. Apart from the Wuxing clan head, Lucien can be considered the strongest person in the empire right now! Getting involved in a battle like this is no different from asking for death while slowing Lucien down!

"We need a symbol… Someone who will make the enemy think twice before making a move on us" Vlad said as he remembered the days of the emperor.

Attacking members of the Fotia empire was akin to incurring the wrath of the great phoenix emperor so no one dared act recklessly around them. Even the Creed organization has never boldly attacked them like this when emperor Fei was still alive but now things are different. Anyone and everyone feels they can do as they please against them and get away with it!

"We need a symbol? You and the other dumb old shits killed him! I hope you are satisfied with the outcome of your stupid actions" Klaus said with a tone filled with venom before flying towards the retreating army.

Thousands died today in a battle between them and the Creed and all of this would have been avoided if only the emperor was still alive. He would have loved to kill Vlad but the empire was already weakened, losing another spirit realm master will only make things worse. Vlad could only listen to his harsh words in silence and retreat as well, while occasionally stealing glances at Lucien!

"They are leaving? I never remembered giving them the permission to leave!" The champion realm master roared as his body let out a bright yellow light.

Clasping his hands he slapped down viciously and above the retreating army, a massive yellow palm appeared above, descending like the judgment of a divine being!

"I don't remember giving you the permission to lay your filthy hands on my subordinates!" Lucien growled as his body let out a bright blue glow.

He clasped his hands together and threw his palm attack up! 

ROAR!

The fleeing army saw the massive yellow palm descending from the sky, making them panic but then a loud dragon roar erupted from nowhere and a massive dragon hand appeared just above them, swinging upward and colliding with the golden palm!

BOOM!

A powerful shockwave occurred and the champion realm master was enraged! How dare a warrior realm teenager act cocky around him!

His disciples noticed his foul mood and charged forward but their advance was soon blocked by the avatars of the Raizen god beast and the Phoenix god beast! The power these two god-beast avatars released was in no way lower than that of Lucien!

"Kill them all!" The champion realm master lost his cool and screamed at the top of his voice and the thousand man Creed army broke formation and chased after the Fotia empire army with the outer disciples leading the charge.

"YOU DARE!" Lucien's eyes turned black as countless tattoos appeared all over his body and shot out rapidly!

In an instant, a thousand-man army of demonic beasts appeared with the beast assimilations like the Hell hound, the king tier magic beast, Lanka! the king tier magic beast Argo, Abok!

Seeing an army appear to intercept the enemy forces, Klaus and Vlad breathed out a sigh of relief as they retreated at their max speed. They chose not to look back anymore since they hated the fact that they can't do anything for Lucien right now!

"No matter what, come back alive kid! The empire needs you!" Klaus screamed at the top of his voice just before they flew out of Lucien's view.

Hearing this Lucien couldn't help but smile as the nervousness he felt earlier had completely vanished the moment he heard those words. Images of all those waiting for him back at the empire flashed across his eyes and finally, the image of the emperor appeared at the back of his head!

HMMM!

BOOM! 

Lucien's aura exploded violently as his red markings surged around his body and that of all his assimilated beasts, causing their aura to rise as well!

[Demonic Berserk mode activated]

At this point, Lucien realized that he was yet to look into all the abilities he acquired since his death till now. He swore to look into all of this the moment this battle is over after he returns to the empire!

"RETURN TO THE FOTIA EMPIRE, TELL THEM I WON!" Lucien roared at the top of his voice and all those that heard him held their breath as they all screamed!

"UNDERSTOOD!" Klaus, Vlad, and the others roared at the top of their voice in response!
