Hearing his words Lucien laughed loudly as his eyes released black sparks as his aura exploded fiercely but surprisingly nothing around them was destroyed. This showcased Lucien's immense control over his aura making those on the table even more fearful of him. In the past, Lucien only had the strength to rival spirit realm masters yet he had absolute control over his power just like any other spirit realm master. At this point, everyone has already forgotten he was still at the warrior realm and viewed him as a spirit realm master capable of matching Champion realm masters.

"If you wish to punish me, you can try let us see… By the way, last time I checked you are amongst those who led the coup against the late emperor… In my opinion, this is treason and is punishable by death… If I choose to take your life here and now, do you think anyone here can stop me?" Lucien asked with a slight smile on his face.

"You dare threaten me?" The Luno god beast clan head growled as he got on his feet let his aura explode.

Behind him, the image of a massive octopus appeared shooting its tendrils towards Lucien who was seated at the other end of the table.

"Sit!" Lucien growled as his aura surged dangerously and the Raizen and Phoenix tattoo on his body lit up brightly.

The Raizen god beast and the Phoenix god beasts appeared behind him, letting out terrifying cries of rage that sent the god beast avatar of the Luno clan running! It quickly retracted its attacks and vanished while the clan head stumbled back in fear and sat obediently.

The scene made many who were waiting for the best moment to appear and spring into action against Lucien lose their hope of battling Lucien. After everything that has happened so far, they realized that right now, even without the Emperor's protection, Lucien is more dangerous than ever since he can lash out without discrimination.

"We are here to deal with the major problems facing this great empire and in case you are yet to understand the situation, all you need to know is that this is all your faults… I don't know who have you the notion that the Libet empire will be appeased with the emperor's death but all I can say is that you all are fools… The death of the emperor and the destruction of a large number of forces from the Hayato and Wuxing clan has weakened our strength greatly. The empire is in turmoil and this can be considered the best opportunity to gather and wipe out the Fotia empire from the map of the continent. As we speak, the Libet and Drakon are mobilizing their forces and preparing for an all-out attack… It's only a matter of weeks before they reach here" The Wuxing clan head said.

As the only Champion realm expert here, no one interrupted him and treated him with respect. Defending the empire simply proves that suspicion of the other empires! Without the emperor they are weak! Seeing this Lucien snorted and leaned back. He shut his eyes as he tried to focus on the battle at hand. His body was so heavy he began wondering if he is kind of scared. Well, this is understandable since this will be his first campaign and wars are way more dangerous than many think. In war, only one person cannot change the tide of battle. There are so Many war weapons and formations powerful enough to make champion realm masters tremble in fear. If he is to enter battle he needs someone he can trust. So Lucien has no intentions of teaming up with these vipers seated on the round table.

"Keep it in mind that I work alone… That is my only request for this incoming wall… Also, I would appreciate it if you all stay away from my territory. Any one of you that dares step foot in this place will die as fast as he came… that's all I have to say" Lucien said those words so casually, many would have sworn he wasn't speaking about taking a person's life.

Hearing this, the Wuxing clan head could only sigh. The Empire needed Lucien right now so no one would dare speak against him, especially since his forces are clearly the largest in the empire. His eyes revealed a hint of discomfort as he saw the displeased l9Oks in the faces of everyone here but he couldn't dwell on this matter for too long.

"With the Absence of an emperor a new council has been formed and everyone present is a member I this council… Decisions will be made through intense deliberation and votes… This will carry on until this war is over and we find a way to deal with our emperor issues… For now, I intend to have smaller clans join hands and rebuild what we have lost…. While we prepare our forces for battle with the enemy empires, their job is to try and return the state of the capital to normalcy… Luckily only the capital was hit hard by the coup" The Wuxing clan head said with a frown and the others nodded in agreement silently.

'The old man made things easier' Lucien commented in his heart as he sat back and gazed at the skies.

He was originally thinking of leaving early but after everything that happened Lucien decided it's just stay back and listen to what the others had to say. The rest of the meeting was relatively peaceful and he had no reason to speak up so he just listened. They were briefed of the various powerful clans of the Libet empire to look out for so Lucien was quite interested in this discussion.

Apart from the Xing clan who have produced the most powerful fighters and warriors in the entire continent, there is also the Zhoa clan, known for their strong Affinity with the force element! There was also the Sin clan known for producing the most powerful human mages of all time and then there is the Basten family where the royal emperor of the Libet empire hails from. His strength has always been extraordinary and only tales of his descendant's achievements have been heard of, making the Hayato clan look pathetic compared to it.

The only reason Lucien and the others considered a possibility of victory was simply because of the presence of the Drakon Empire. The Drakon Empire and the Libet empire have been on each other's necks for so long, it is hard to believe that these people are yet to wage war against each other. Their hatred for each other is so strong even Emperor Fei chose not to interfere with matters concerning these two empires.

Lucien and the rest strongly believed that the Drakon empire would not just sit and watch their enemy amass power and wealth. They will be Lurking in the shadows, searching for the time to flee. Because of this, the Libet empire won't put all their forces into attacking the fotia empire. While some are sent to attack, another set will be set to tail the main army from a safe distance and prevent them from getting ambushed by the forces of the Drakon empire and then enough Forces will be left behind in the Libet empire in case the enemy is crazy enough to consider attacking their empire directly since a good number of their forces are out.

Thinking about all of this, Lucien couldn't help but feel excited. He sincerely enjoyed the thrill of war, the countless possibilities, and the possible outcomes. For the first time in a long while, he enjoyed speaking with the other nobles and had no reason to be hostile at all.
