Chapter 176: Emperor Fei fights back

Watching Lucien's vanishing figure the old man of the Lucardo clan couldn't help but sigh, in his opinion, Lucien is one of the most talented people he has seen in his two hundred years of life but even the youth is too impulsive and untamed. The main reason he wished to stop Lucien here was that he knew Lucien may not survive the fight going on in the capital. When the death god appears, Lucien will most likely fight him with the Wuxing clan head and the emperor, leading to his death!

"I sincerely wanted to save the little lad's life and I am the bad guy here?" The old man shrugged his shoulders and sighed.

He isn't short-sighted like the other old men. As much as he would hate to see his enemy grow, he recognized Lucien's potential and he strongly believed Lucien will bring them great honor in future years to come. He is like a baby dragon who only needs some time to grow and become a terrifying beast the whole world will fear!

His eyes revealed some killing light as he gazed towards his army only to see that the demonic beasts had gone with Lucien. His one thousand strong man army had been reduced by at least half the number in just a few minutes. He truly couldn't win in a direct confrontation against Lucien.

"Hehehehe! To think that brat used to be Brian's rival… Right now their strength is no different from the difference between the heavens and the earth" the old man chuckled slightly.

"Pick up the dead, return to the clan… I will head over to the capital and make sure nothing goes wrong" The old man said before hopping slowly but vanishing almost the moment his legs left the ground.

Emperor Fei remained in the empty throne room with the Wuxing clan head and Instructor Han. The teleportation formations have been shut down and thanks to the combined efforts of the various spatial mages of the various clans, they were able to create a spatial seal around the capital. Although they could not compare to Instructor Han, they were able to prevent him from using long-ranged spatial abilities.

"To think they hid these many forces from the empire…. Did they have some sort of underground cities where these people lived?" The Wuxing clan head asked with an amused look on his face and the emperor shook his head.

"They didn't do this because they were dissatisfied with my rule… Considering how long it will take to nurture such a massive force without us noticing, it simply means they have been planning this from the very beginning…. They just don't want my Hayato family on the throne… Unfortunately for them, I have no intentions of giving it up either!" Emperor Fei's eyes flared up with power as he gazed at the golden doors of the royal courtyard intensely and just as expected!

BOOM!

The doors smashed open, flying into the room but before it could reach the emperor it was reduced to ashes! Numerous figures walked in calmly and fearlessly. Funny enough, these figures use to sit in this room from meetings but right now they all had their weapons drawn. Gazing at these people Emperor Fei didn't move, he still had his chin resting on his hand as he gazed at them with blazing red eyes.

There was the Vladimir clan head, specializing in dark magic, the Hammond clan head specializing in defensive spells and artifacts, the Adren clan known for their ferocious fire magic, the Wystan clan known for their godly assassination skills, the brook clan known for their strong affinity to earth magic, the Lilyana clan known for their strong affinity to the water element, the beast-man Drax clan, known for their earth and lava affinity and finally the Luno clan known for their immense water and healing techniques.

"I could understand the Humans betraying me but the beast-men, this is not something I saw coming…. It seems all three beast-men clans had a hand in this too… A pity!" The Emperor's tone was low but even then it felt like a bell was ringing right next to their ears. They had come here to join hands against the emperor but today they found it hard to even move! This is the man that obliterated their forces in the past! Age has not whittled down his strength as they expected! A total beast!

"I apologize my emperor, but this is where your phoenix clan dies! For too long we have been suppressed by you and your family…. You cannot hold us down anymore!' A dwarf-like man with huge ears and eyes said. He wore a sleeveless yellow robe, revealing his muscular arms, and behind him was a monkey tail.

It was the Drax clan head, Olax!

Hearing his words the emperor frowned. Apart from the none cultivators and women, the rest of his family members have joined hands with the Wuxing clan forces to keep the invading forces at bay. The fact that these people made it here meant they were losing ground and it's only a matter of time before they get wiped out. 

"Maybe the little lad was right! Diplomacy solves nothing… Absolute power is all that matters in this world… I have been too docile for so long that these people have forgotten what I am capable of! I BELIEVE ITS TIME I REMIND THEM WHO THE GREATEST UNDER THE HEAVENS IS!" Emperor Fei growled as he pulled out his royal robes revealing his golden armor!

With each step, he took the entire room got hotter and hotter. The blazing red energy in his eyes began spreading all across his body, all the way to his arms and legs, forming strange symbols all across his body!

"Three generations! I will wipe out three generations of each of your clans! Only that way can you atone for this sin!" Emperor Fei growled as his body slowly crouched before shooting towards the clan heads all alone with terrifying red light in his eyes!
