'Are you awake now?' Vasu asked as he stared into Ariana's face. Ariana blinked a few times and smiled. "How long have I been out?" Ariana asked. "A few hours." Cayden called out from the side of the bed. Ariana's eyes grew wide and she wanted sit up but the rest of her Lumas had pinned her down. "It's just us here." Cayden sighed. "It doesn't matter." Ariana said flatly as she stared back at Vasu.

"Why are you trying to leave?" Cayden asked. Ariana kept her mouth closed. 'We don't need to tell someone like you anything.' Vasu said coldly as he shot Cayden a disgusted look. "Vasu I don't need you to talk for me." Ariana said coldly. Vasu clicked his tongue before he floated off of her. "So what was that about?" Cayden asked as he reached out to Ariana and tried to touch her face but Ariana raised her own hand and smacked his hand away.

The Lumas looked at each other before deciding to get up from Ariana. They then gently floated to the side and sat down on the floor. Completely on guard as the closely watched the two. "Ariana?" Cayden called out in a surprised tone.

"Vasu, can you heal my leg?" Ariana asked as she stared down Cayden square in the eyes. 'I have already.' Vasu replied. Ariana broke her eye contact and started to move to sit up. "Even though Vasu healed you, you shouldn't move right away." Cayden said with a small sigh. "How long are you going to pretend?" Ariana asked.

Cayden was dumbstruck, his eyes rounded and his lips trembled but the shook only lasted a few seconds but the change was caught within Ariana's gaze. "Ariana I have no idea what you're talking about." Cayden said calmly as he showed a gentle smile to Ariana. "I don't have much time left to waste. So stop the games and just tell me how long have you been apart of the Rebellion." Ariana asked with a harsh tone.

Cayden's gaze turned cold and unflinching. "I have no idea what you are talking about." Cayden said. Ariana clenched her jaw. She wasn't going to take anymore of his bullsh*t. "Fine, I didn't think that we would be saying goodbye like this but we will be parting ways." Ariana said arrogantly then ripped the blanket off.

"Do you really think I would let you go? You saw what is going on out there, I can't have you risking your life just because you want to save your friends lives." Cayden said as he stood up from the chair. "I don't think you have a say in the matter." Ariana said as she showed a dark smile. "I won't let you leave." Cayden said as he reached out and tried to grab Ariana's arm.

Ariana dodged it and grabbed his wrist. "I don't care." Ariana replied as she pulled Cayden forward. Cayden fell forward as Ariana raised her hand, he turned his gaze towards Ariana just as she brought down her hand. Cayden kicked himself upwards, wrapping his one leg around Ariana and pulling her backwards with his momentum.

Ariana fall back onto the bed and Cayden sat directly on top of her stomach. He moved quickly and pinned Ariana's hands down as he looked directly at her face. 'Ariana!" Aroha called out as the other Lumas jumped up into the air. "Stand down!" Cayden growled as he turned his gaze to the Lumas. 'You can't tell us what to do!' Rahul shouted. "Stand down! I am not going to hurt her." Cayden said causing the Lumas to stop mid air.

"You think I would believe in your lies anymore?" Ariana asked in a dark tone. "I never lied to you." Cayden growled. "No? I think you have." Ariana said with a small laugh. 'Cayden has never lied to you.' Adonis said as he appeared beside Cayden. Ariana looked at Adonis and her gaze wavered. "It's true, I never lied to you I just kept certain truths from you." Cayden admitted. "It doesnt matter." Ariana whispered. "Ariana." Cayden called out.

Cayden dropped his stance slightly and laid his head next to her ear. "You can't say that.... please don't say that. don't look at me like that, just please, Ariana listen to me." Cayden said gently. Ariana's eyes grew wide and shakes with doubt and temptation. "I can't..." Ariana said in a shaky voice.

Cayden let go of Ariana's wrists and slid his hands downwards and placed them around her back. "I swear I will tell you everything. Just give me a chance to tell you everything. Just don't leave me like this. With all these misunderstandings." Cayden pleaded. "Will you really tell me everything?" Ariana asked. "I swear." Cayden said breathlessly.

A shiver ran down Ariana's body. Ariana nodded her head and Cayden let out a giant sigh of relief. "Yes, I am part of the Rebellion." Cayden admitted as he tightened his embrace. Ariana silently waited for Cayden to continue. "But it's not what you think. I was forced to join them, after the rescued me from that male harem that show had in her mansion. They were the ones making use of my slave marks. I tried to stay away from you but you couldn't just leave me alone. I pushed and pushed you away but I couldn't give you up."

"I've been in love with you from the very moment I met you and couldn't stop my heart from yearning. When you stopped their commands I was practically set free. I lived with you and was so happy. But then that man found me... He found me and threatened to destroy everything that meant something to me." Cayden said as his arms tightened around Ariana.

"Is that why you pushed me away?" Ariana asked the Lumas sensed Ariana's hostility dispersed. They floated downwards back to the ground. "I wanted to be with you so badly, the moment you kissed me I thought I was going to cave but I knew deep down this was the only one way to truly keep you safe. I didn't care about anyone else, all I cared about you and nothing else." Cayden said pitifully.
