Chapter 14 - Can't Hold It Any Longer!

Name:My Ghostly Romance Author:Poisonlily
Yang Mi stared at him.

She opened her mouth to say yes but no sound came out of her mouth.

She didn't know if telling him that she knew him while she was still a ghost a good thing.

No human would believe her and especially, this detective that she spent days with and still couldn't see her existence.

Besides, if there was a tiny chance that he believed her… what was she supposed to say?

That she stalked him? That she was drooling while staring at his naked body? That she continuously tried to touch him while he was asleep?

Anyone would instantly feel disgusted if they heard someone say that to them!

"No." Yang Mi decided to pretend that she couldn't remember him.

Kaisar nodded, "Do you remember anything at all? Who you are or…" He paused when he was about to ask her 'what she was'. Then, he smoothly continued, "Or do you know where your family lives and their contact details?"

Yang Mi blinked.

Then, she said, "I only remember my name is Yang Mi but as for my family… I don't remember them."

She technically didn't lie. Even when she was still a ghost, she couldn't remember who was her family. She only assumed that she had one in the past but because too much time has already passed, she wasn't even sure she could remember any of them or if she really had one either.

If she had one, they wouldn't be alive at this point.

Kaisar watched her silently. His dark gaze seemed to look at her like she was a puzzle that needed to be solved.

His eyes lingered on her lips before he reached towards the paper bag he set aside and pulled out a bottle of mineral water.

"I'm not sure if you're allowed to drink without assistance but I think you need it." He handed the bottle to her.

Yang Mi's eyes sparkled at the sight of the mineral bottle and she snatched it from his outstretched hand.

She tried to pull the top of the bottle but it wouldn't open.

What's wrong with this?

When the humans opened their plastic bottles, it looked too easy. And yet, she couldn't do such a simple task!

Despite being a ghost who knows how the world works, Yang Mi was like a baby when it comes to simple objects that normal humans grew accustomed to.

She learned by watching without ever understanding how humans do their things. If someone were to ask her to turn on a computer, she would only plug it and leave it to turn itself on.

That is why, even though she knew that humans drink from the tip of the mineral bottle, she didn't know that she had to twist the cap so it would open.

Seeing her struggle to open the mineral bottle, Kaisar wondered whether she was trying to get him to notice her.

Women have many ways to act cute and make the man they are interested in to take notice of them and would go through at any length just to get his attention.

However, from the sweat dripping down her face and glare she was using to look at the bottle as if to order it to open itself for her, Kaisar couldn't help but think that she really didn't know how to do it.

"Give it to me." He told her.

Yang Mi paused and stared at him. Was he trying to take back the water he gave her?

She gave him a distrustful glare but Kaisar ignored it as he took the mineral bottle from her anyway.

"You can't just pull it." He said and demonstrated in front of her, "You have to firmly grasp the cap and twist it. Then, it opens."

"Ooh!" Yang Mi was fascinated by the devices that the humans created.

So, it was that simple! Yang Mi thought as she repeated the action and when she finally couldn't take it, she raised the mouth of the bottle to her lips and drank with large gulps.

She emptied the bottle and felt contented finally. She was deprived of water twice now but thankfully, she finally eased the burning thirst in her throat.

She gave the empty bottle to Kaisar when she felt uncomfortable below her waist.

She already felt the uncomfortable feeling ever since the first time she woke up but ignored it. It was only until she finished drinking a whole bottle of water did she feel the need to do something intensified.

It was a familiar sensation but she forgot what it was.

What was it called again?

Ah!

That's right!

She needs to pee!

She tried to move out of the bed but she remembered that her body was still feeling weak, she turned to look at Kaisar.

"What?" He coolly asked her as she looked at her like he was her savior.

And indeed, he was.

"Help me." She told him and held out her hand for him to hold.

She whispered, "I need to pee."

Their eyes met and there was a deafening silence.

The room had pin-drop silence momentarily continued for a few seconds before Yang Mi shifted on the bed again.

"I really need to do it! I can't hold it any longer!" Yang Mi was nearly in tears as she tried to squeeze her legs together.

"Wait!" Kaisar panicked and stood up.

"No, I can't wait!" She said. "It's coming!"

Yang Mi bit her lips to lessen the urge to relieve herself on the bed.

"Alright!" Kaisar ended up carrying her in his arms and walked inside the restroom.

He put her to sit on the toilet bowl and was about to leave her alone to take care of her business when a hand grabbed his shirt.

"Don't leave me."

Kaisar: "..."

Outside the room where Kaisar and Yang Mi were in, the people who were walking by stopped when they heard their voices.

Because the door wasn't tightly closed when Kaisar went in, the passersby couldn't help but be intrigued by what's happening inside.

Thus, after they listened to their conversation, all of them were blushing hard.
