29 Wear Something Pink!

After she finishes strolling around with Xui Li, they walk back to her booth.

"So Xue Mei, are you gonna watch my performance tomorrow?" He asks out of blue.

"Eh? of course! After all, your performance just before Risa right?"

"Risa huh? Erm, I think so.." He rubs his chin a bit.

"So, what are you gonna play tomorrow?"

"Hmm...Secret. Just see for yourself tomorrow." He ruffles her hair a bit and smiles after that.

They walk until they arrive at the booth. "So, Ren..I'll see you again tomorrow. See ya." He waves her hand to both of them before he went out of the exhibition hall.

Xue Mei and Ren Zhi cleaning the booth after they're done with the presentation. It's almost 11 pm when they finally done with the cleaning.

"Babe, do you wanna go to get supper first before we go back to the dorm?" Ren Zhi said while lifting the boxes while Xue Mei gets her backpack along with Ren Zhi's bag.

"Erm, that sounds good. I'm famished right now." She rubs her belly a little.

"How about if we go eat some hot pot?"

"Where do we get hot pot at this late hour?"

"Well, I know a place where we can eat late at night." He smiles assuring her.

"Okay...Just don't bring me to a weird place. Or I'll smack you hard." She warns him. Worried that he might trick her and bring her to a hotel or whatever it is. She's not ready for that yet.

"You can rest assured. I'm not that desperate, even though you're my girlfriend. I can wait until you ready for the next step." He peck on her cheek and went to his car trunk.

Xue Mei blushed a bit. She shakes her head and went to help him put the boxes inside his car trunk.

They arrive at the alleys between the huge building. The alleys look lively with peoples.

"What is this place?" She looks up to Ren Zhi beside her.

Hold her hand, he smiles and says "This is where people get their food at night when they hungry."

He leads her to a restaurant and finds a good spot to eat their hot pot.

Xue Mei look around her and as what he says, a lot of city people who look like they just finish their work and come here to eat. The situation is like it just early hours even though it almost midnight right now.

"Erm, Ren...How did you find this place?" She asks while eating.

Look at her, he gulps a bit. His face change. It's not him who found this place. It was 'her' who finds it. Many things that are fun is discovered by 'her'.

"...My friend suggests it to me a long time ago." He diverts his eyes and continues to eat.

"Hm...I need to thanks your friend later. This is an awesome place. I'll be sure to come here again next time. Maybe I can come with Xui Li and Risa."

He just silent hearing what she says.

After they finish eating, they go strolling around River Park.Seeing a light bridge and the lights from the city.

"Aren't you cold?" Ren asks when he noticed that Xue Mei did not bring her sweater.

"A bit. But I still okay." She smiles at him.

Take off his jacket, he put it on her shoulder. "Wear this. I don't want my girlfriend to fall sick."

She opens her arm widely.

"What?"

"Come on. I wanna hug you."

"Why?"

"Don't ask. Come here." She went closer to him.

"Hey, people are looking at us." He feels a bit shy.

"So what?" She hugs him tightly. Bury her face to his chest. Yes, she is a bit small compared to Risa, who had a model figure.

Returning her hugs, he kisses her top of the head. "You should not keep triggering my limit you know..I want to treat you well and wait until you ready. But if you keep makes me wanna 'have' you...I don't know if I can wait or not."

She smiles and hears his heartbeat. "Ren...I never experience love. You're my first. So I really don't know a thing about love at all. Teach me and stay with me."

He caresses her back and after a while, he says. "It's getting cold now. Should we get back? Or your big brother will mad at me for late sending you to the dorm."

"Huh? Big brother?" She makes a confused expression.

"Who else? Your favorite brother, of course. Xui Li." He touches her nose using his finger.

"Oh!" She giggles after that."Yeah, let's not makes him worry."

They holding hand to the car park and went back to the dorm.

He opens his door and lit up the bedside light. Sit on the edge of the bed, he pulls the drawer beside the bed.

Took out a framed picture that he has been keeping for almost two years now.

"Next year is my final year. I will bring Xue Mei to France and shows you that I already move on. This is what you want right?" He smiles bitterly to the person in the picture.

Meanwhile, at the opposite building, Xue Mei stares her room ceiling with a wide smile on her face.

"Kyaa...I'm so happy." She hugs her pillow and roll on her bed.

"This is what they say about a love fever? Oh~ I'm so lucky to get this chance. Thank you God, to let me have a hot boyfriend and give me a kind boyfriend."

She falls asleep after a moment.

In the next morning, she awakens by the beep sound from her phone. She searches her phone while her eyes still shut and once he found the phone, she slowly opens her eyes.

"Nngh.."

Open the text, she blinks her eyes a few times.

'Wear something pink! And don't forget to wear your make up!'

"What the hell is she thinking? It just a university performance. Why does she make it sound like they gonna have a big show?" She mumbles and takes a look at the time on her phone.

"Erk! it's already 11 am?!" She immediately sits up.

"Oh good grief~ if my grandma knows I wake up this late, she must be crawling from the ground and hit my head with her bone."

'Even though my grandma still alive!' She finds her towel and runs to Risa's bedroom.

Risa already gives her spare key to her room so she can enter anytime she wants to take a bath. Even though it's been months since the bathroom accident with Xui Li, she still didn't dare to go there anymore.

Knock! Knock!

Xue Mei just finishes her bath when she heard a knocking sound from the door.

Open it, she saw Luo Hui in front of her door.

"What's up?"

"Today's Risa's show with Xui Li right? Are you going with us? We planned on going together with all the girls."

"Er...Yeah...Sure. I'll go with you guys." She said. Well, after all, it been a while since last they group together.

"Risa told us to wear something pink. Do you have any clothes that are pink color?" Luo Hui ask.

"Erm..." She tilts her head a little. "Ah! I have. Ren gives it to me last month."

"Ren? Well, I bet he must give you a pretty dress then.."

"Ha ha..I think it just a simple T-shirt. I didn't see it yet, because I'm not a fan of pink color."

"Just wear it. At least you have a pink color dress. If you don't have, then come to my room. I have plenty pink color dress." She said before leaving her room.

"Thanks, sis Luo!" She shouts a bit to her from the door frame.

Luo Hui only lift up her finger, sign 'Ok!' to her.

Went back to her bed, she finds her phone and sends a text to Ren Zhi.

"Yo boss! can't go with you tonight. My girls' mate asks me to go with them. But I'll stay close to your seat. If I see you. Hehe.."

"Kay...Don't stray too far from my sight. And tell me if you guys hang out after the concert."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Good Job, now..did you just wake up?"

"Eh? How do you know?"

"Look at the window."

She turns her head to the window and saw that Ren Zhi already at his balcony. He points his finger to her head.

Squinted a bit, she touches her head. "Oh! my towel!"

He also smiles from the opposite building. He mouthed at her "Love you!" before he went back inside his room.

Blushed a bit, she went to her study desk and open up her laptop. She already promises to her mother to make a video call today.
